I also saw that… Akala ko ako lang nakapansin. I also wish na it’s because she’s still sick and not feeling well pero… she’ll slip away if the other half will not do anything. Sorry to say this but guys are really that insensitive. Maine is obviously put her guard on because of those responses. hay naku talaga. bakit ba kasi tayo masyado affected? hahaha XD

i noticed that too. d kya dahil she had several disappointments with Alden and she got fed up? like what I’ve read from some here? wag naman sna.
Question, gaano na ba katagal ang LT nila? less 3 months, right? Was there a chance that the 2 really talked? Merely FS & split screen. And people expect Alden to have same feelings as Maine’s? Ung ke Maine, given na un. She had a crush on Alden even before she was discovered by EB. No wonder she acts naturally pag may kilig. But I’m pretty sure, Alden likes Maine. He has this cutie patootie smile when Maine’s on-cam and when they were both in Broadway in two occasions. On what level? That we don’t know.
On national TV, Alden mentioned about his priorities. His family. His career. His huge love for his mom. But he also mentioned that he’s open to the idea of having a love life this year, if the RIGHT GIRL comes. That’s why maybe (again), Alden is very careful with his answers, esp. if he’s unsure. He does not want to hurt anyone’s feelings. He does not want to cheat on himself and the people around them esp to Maine. And I salute him for that. Maybe, Alden must still be assessing his feelings towards Maine. Kung totohanan na ba talaga o actingan pa rin. If he’s sure about it, a-action yan. Not like other LTs, love love sila on screen, iba naman pala loveydudes sa labas. You think their fans would like that? I don’t think so.
I agree with Alden when he said he wants to know Maine more. Baka kasi what Alden wants is for long term. For reel and real. Since they both answered FOREVER on their first date, then they have to be patient. their LT is only less 3 months? OK, sarado na natin sa 3. they still have a long way to go to “Forever”. Look, showbiz is Alden’s bread and butter. He got a family to support. He waited long and been through a lot of tests. Alden applied the verse: Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. – Psalm 37:7 Because of his TONS of PATIENCE, He is blessed. Very blessed. If they (A & M) truly want a “forever” and not seasonal lang. Be patient. Patience is trusting God to keep His promises in His perfect timing.
If both A & M are promoting good values, the old school ways, then there’s no reason to rush in getting into a relationship. A Big NO to hinog sa pilit. Pag sila, e di sila
Let their feelings for each other come naturally. Honestly, I am one of those who have high hopes that they’ll end up together…and for REAL. Pero di ko kakagatin ang gimmick na the two will go for a kind of relationship covered with so much icing just becoz that is what we wanted to happen. We’re not the ones who will suffer…sila.
Let us all be reminded that Kalyeserye was created to entertain the viewers. To bring fun and excitement and kilig. And they succeeded. Hooked nga tau sa EB at the strike of 12, di ba?
Let their hearts feel it. Let the time tell them when is the “ito na ang tamang panahon.” For now, let’s just enjoy the show, their actingans, which is very effective, by the way. Dami affected e. I, myself included. Certified KS/AlDub Addict here hohoho 🙂
What should Aldub fans do? (1) Wala ng siraan o sisihan
(2) wait & see
(3) keep supporting A & M
(4) spread L-O-V-E 😉

True that… Her smiles in that episode didn’t reach her eyes anymore. From my perspective, nabaligtad naman. Maine has put her guard on and is now very cautious. Tapos si Alden na ngayon ang parang nawawala sa character. I sensed it when he initiated the “namiss mo ba ako”. He was fishing for Maine’s usual instinctive kilig reactions and attention. Just my two cents. But I really hope that everything goes well for the both of them.

And I admired her for putting her guard on honestly. It means she is thinking, observant and she adjusts herself to reality if needed. This traits should be emulated by women in general. My goodness in my 38 years of life there are a lot of palpak marriages replete of emotional and physical (who knows what else is happening behind closed doors) abuse that I heard of in my workplace and some personal friends. And these women would bear the burden and pasakit out of ‘love’. It is very irritating when they whine and complain and seek advice and yet they do not break the cycle by simply leaving the abusive relationship. What’s worse and sad is that their kids suffer as well. I know that this is extreme and I do not think Alden is the abusive type but my point is young women should realize that it is not good to let your emotions get the better of you all the time kahit love pa iyan like those ’80s movies na pag-ibig will conquer all. It requires effort to make relationships work. It is an investment that will yield satisfying and fruitful rewards if both parties work on and for it. E how will it work if hindi pa mandin nagsisimula the other half is not exerting enought effort and emotional investment into it. Lukewarm ang reaction. Alangan namang aasa ka na lang ng aasa. Ang tunay na ‘interesado’ will not have excuses not to see you or your family. Papansin lagi as one family friend said, “Ang kapal ng mukha ng asawa ko nung nanliligaw pa. Ako kinakabahan para sa kaniya kapag nagpupunta sa bahay dahil istrikto si tatay.” Come hell or high water, kahit pa heneral ang tatay mo hindi matatakot na paninindigan ka at kikilalanin. Trust me it is oh so nice to be in a relationship that you are so loved. After the kilig phase it will be replaced by a steady warm glow and comfort something to look forward to after a stressful day at work. You will feel home. Maine laid out her cards because she is transparent. If Alden is indecisive then so be it. At least Maine did not panic na para bang mauubusan na ng lalaki ngmaraming palusot si Alden. She simply built a wall around her and continued with her act. Don’t get me wrong because I also recignize that Alden is a good kid and I am rooting for them. But for his ambivalence I appreciate Maine’s reaction.

I hope that you will write a new blog post for this coming Saturday’s episode (Sept 24). It’s a plea because I really want to know your input as a man. I love your blog about what happened on their first date and expecting a new input from you because I am starting to see Maine’s emotion is slipping away (literally slipping away). I replayed the episode today (Sept 23 episode) over and over again and I can really right through Maine’s emotions that she’s starting to slip. maybe it’s because she’s still not feeling well or because of lack of sleep but I can really feel it. As a woman who is still in love to my man, I really feel her. I know those smiles and movements. Also, I was able to sense that the situation now is starting to flip over. It’s like Alden is now the one who smiles broadly and showing his true emotions on everyone (but hides it with his sketch pad argh!) while Maine is now guarding herself because of well… different situations. I’m not a guy so I will not fully understand you guys but I don’t know… I am really affected and frustrated on what’s going with them. waaaaah! It’s like Maine is everyone’s little sister that matters. She is loved by many (like me) that is why a lot of us are very protective to her.
I am just a wishful thinker here… Sorry for venting out. >_<

What is happening behind the camera is life and reality unfolding. Anyway both M and A are still young and they have a lifetime ahead for them to define what is best for them. I am more protective of Maine than Alden but I am sure that her family is doing a better job with protecting her considering that their family dynamics is functional and healthy. Kaya nga I sensed that yes she is holding back which is in a way good because alangan namang habulin niya si Alden. Would you really want to see your daughters or sisters force themselves to anybody that does not want them? Alden in one of his interviews said so himself that management is not forbidding them to communicate offcam and his excuses in not even texting Maine to me is lame. However he is 23 and he is entitled to realize and find for himself what he really wants in a potential partner in life. If he is really interested in Patricia he is entitled to experience failure (come on who are we kidding) and learn from it and define what truly makes him happy. Let both of them experience heart break and disappointments because that will make them stronger and that will define ‘ ano ba talaga gusto ko at hinahanap ko’ and how do I make things work if things do not work out as planned. Why are we all so scared for them to experience life. Forever is still possible amidst the disappointments and heartbreak. Kung sila, sila. It is a bumpy ride but if they will survive it their forever will be sweeter.

Thank God for this blog! Thank you sir for opening up another venue where people can share their thoughts. masyado nang crowded ang tweeter ng mga nonsense na tweets makaabot lang ng millions of tweets. This blog allows readers and other people to provide more meaningful comments.
Anyway, dami nang comments na I agree and na masarap basahin so I would not add to that. Ang comment ko lang, pansin nyo ba how A keeps on using “psst” on his FS to call M’s attention. I find it weird and unusual. How did it seems to be so difficult now to write M’s name?
Anyway, I’m interested to hear or read some thoguhts about this. I just couldn’t get it out of my head.

Don’t really see anything wrong using Psstt…. Pag comfortable ka na sa isang tao, you can use words that you wouldn’t normally use on someone na casual lang ang pagkakilala mo. Like a woman addressing her friends “hoy bruha asan ka?” Or a guy addressing his friend “Hoy pangit, tara inom tayo” Mas endearing pa nga eh

agree ako jan @ Jessie. kmi nga, mas malala, “oi bakla” tawag ko sa straight male friends ko but chika lang. coz we’re comfortable with each other. as for A’s using “pssst”, feeling ko, papa-cute lang ke M hehehe. for me, it’s a good sign.
Watched today’s epi… happy ako coz they’re both back to their respective characters, with added bonus pa. me BaeYaya na ibinigay si lola nidora hahah. the spark is back!!! woot…woot!

Aww, this makes me kinda sad. My take-away after reading all the previous comments? It’s all about perception and perspective really. For one thing, that “pssst” thing doesn’t bother me in the least. I use it myself when I’m trying to be cute. I’m such a proper person usually and people know that about me so they know I am being playful when I use it. So when A used it, I just thought it was him trying to be cute. I guess one me, the move achieved the desired effect.

Hmm… this is the episode when the magic starts to fade at least on maine’s part. The sparkle is not there anymore. Its like she’s just going thru the motion. Its like shes not bored and just acting out. Did she lose her interest on the boy already? Or could it be something else? Speculations only, could be some of maine’s personal issues, or has fame and even fortune got the better of her? Or could t be stress and fatigue. Kung sabagay paano mo nga naman masusustain ang nararamdaman mo sa isang tao kung di naman talaga kayo nagkakaugnayan ng personal. Im pretty sure maine’s surrounded by male admirers right now. Possible that maine’s has found someone worthier than A. Again these are pure speculations but one thing is sure, maine is slowly drifting away

I have been a silent lurker in this blog.like the rest of you i’ve been trying to figure out M & A reactions particularly A…and yeah nkukulabgan ako k Alden i also wonder why he didn’t attempt to get Meng’s ( he used it today) no after at least he felt he got ibterested. Di ba that’s the way it is. In one laglagan portion with SYG he said he texted Sam that Patriia is wearing blue since ge xame ahead of Sam. Why the hell he needs to do that? Oftentimes pag ang crush mo( n d bulgar)eh crush din ng friend mo the tendency is to be watchful of her tapos itutukso mo s friend mo when in fact you are just trying to satisfy yourself with your tease.I hope i am wrong.mabuti na lang he changed his shirt to chekered blue, otherwise the crimsin red top he wore during the opening would be complementary with the HBD girl.i don’t want him to wake up one day that maine has slipped away.

SIR vilo, we want a follow up on this blog after this AKYAT BAHAY LIGAW EPISODE. this sat. Hopefully Maine was able to read this and must have realized she has exerted more effort and affection than A. Now she deserves a break from this and be herself again. As in akting akting na lang until umayos yang si alden hahah.My gosh maine has admirers by the dozens :. .Someone out there who is so proud to have her since she is indeed a perfect partner to someone deserving of her love. Maine has no hang ups in life as we can see with the strong bond she shares with her family and friends. she had a 5 yr relationship and who knows she might just still be in love with her ex. Who knows if alden has gotten over his ex too. NOW after reading this, EAT BULAGA HAS to do their part. sila ang promotor ng accidental love team na to. Yes, I agree with Maripaz_ruiz@yahoo.com.. I would love to find a follow up blog or article after this Saturday’s episode. I enjoy reading all the articles and other people’s comments as it seems detailed and much more may sense. Of course, I know that it’s the writer’s POV so I couldn’t based my judgement just on what I read. Plus I think most of the people going in the blog are not the “teenager” or young ones who are still in the realm of the “love team”. Instead, fans that go here are the mature ones (ayaw kong sabihin “matanda”) who are looking for truth and reality and who themselves have there own share of love stories that at some point can relate to what we are watching. I’m a fan of ALDUB and I wish the best for both of them. And by “best”, it may not be the “they live happily ever after” but at least the truth and that you will see them both happy to where things will lead them.

BTW (pahabol), I just want to applaud Sir Vilo with this blog and his writings. Sir, you can not please anybody and you don’t have to. If you’re happy writing these blogs, then do so.. I agree with heimlich2015. Please dont get discouraged by “people” on not to write a new blog regarding this upcoming saturday event. I trusted you well on your keen observations throught out this show. These are wonderful kids that they made us giddy all the time and got hooked to them, so as they have said, we had invested too much emotion unto this couple. So bring it on!

Just finished reading most of the comments. I have been looking for more intelligent exchange of ideas on the AlDub phenomenon and I am so happy I found this site. Like some of you I am, shall we say, more mature and never thought I would go gaga over a love team. I am married and working here in Chicago. When I discovered KS it became my companion on the train ride to the city. Another train regular asked me the other day what I was watching because she said I looked giddy. I wanted to explain but I did not know how. I think that’s why we are all here -trying to make sense of how this two people made us feel this way. Please be kind to these two kids. They have made me giddy the last few weeks and in a way gave me new perspective on my relationship with my husband. We have been married 20 years and once we had kids, just like other parents, our focus shifted to our children. He is the ore romantic one to this day. I used to be more expressive but with work, kids and other “life” constraints I have been lacking in showing the love. This KS rekindled that and for that I am eternally grateful to Alden, Maine and the EB staff. I wish Alden and Maine happiness and success. I have a friend in the advertising world in Manila and she told me that if AlDub is hot now, she can’t imagine how much more in demand they would be if they beat the other show tomorrow. Like a grateful soldier I signed up on Twitter and will send some tweets their way when the call for battle comes later. They have made me happy, giddy and they have given me a new perspective on my personal life. Tweeting is the least I can do. I owe them that. I think we should just focus on now. Forever can wait. These are two young and from what I have read good kids. I wish them nothing but the best. Of course I will be happy if they end up together but that road is still being paved. Lastly thank you Mr. Vilo for your blog. You are an incredible, incredible writer! You have given us a shared community even though it is virtual! To the AlDub nation – ngayon pa ba tayo bibitaw?
