Since I am a business/systems analyst, I can justify my over-analysis, LOL.
But for those who want good vibes, check out @aldub vines. Snippets and slow motion. One was when Alden came back last Saturday and danced with Maine. They were signalling to each other, pointing back and forth (maybe ‘let’s text’?)
Also, watching Monday’s episode, it seems Maine knew that Alden would be away. She sort of had a sad face before she held the ‘Pahinga’ FS.
And if you watch Day 66 (9/30), a few minutes into it, when Alden was lipsynching ‘Superman’, he was waiting for Maine to look at him and when she did, he then muttered ‘Hi baby’ . Their reactions after that were priceless. They were trying to hide it.

I have no doubt in my mind that she knew Alden was not going to be in EB for a few days, thus the “Pahinga ka ha?” FS comment made by Maine during Monday’s KS episode, as well as her “You take good care of yourself” tweet that day and the note “Pahinga ka din pag may time” she wrote on the wall for Alden. She knew that the forthcoming days would be very busy for him, thus the reminders. I love it that Maine has always been very vocal about her feelings, and that she speaks her mind. She definitely wears her heart in her sleeve. If she were someone else, I would be very worried for her in case her feelings for Alden turn out to be unreciprocated, but I see an emotionally strong and a very smart young lady who can definitely rise above that situation, if that should be the case.
I am not sure if some of you have seen it, but there is a video circulating of Maine using Alden’s hoverboard while she was interacting and taking selfies with EB staff in Broadway. They seem to be talking to someone on a video call, and judging from the voice I heard, I am almost certain it was Alden. He was being teased “huwag kang magselos” by those who were taking selfies with Maine, which I thought was really cute and indicative that people who know them better than we do know that something is brewing between these kids. So yes, I have no reason to believe that they are not talking behind the camera anymore. 🙂

Saw the vid and heard someone say from the background, “Tisoy, Tisoy, tigilan mo ‘yan uuy!” Right before one of the staffs said, “Hi Den!”. So, something is up na talaga with these two. Kaya nga sana, stop na tayo with all these speculations, be these be positive or negative speculations. I, for one, firmly believe na something is going on between these two off cam, and I don’t want it to be muddle, whatever it is, because of the pressure being put upon them by the fans. We want them to be together forever, but sa kaka-pressure natin sa kanila, baka tayo pa ang dahilan para hindi mangyari ang forever. Let us all back off, step back and give them the space and time that they need. Let their (love)story unravel before our eyes in God’s time. I, for one, would want them to build their relationship on something really solid, more than just “kilig.” Many believe them to be destined for each other and many say that it is GOD who is writing their story. If we all believe this to be true, then let’s have faith and couple this with our prayers for them. Let us all pray that they find the love and happiness that they seek in their lives in each other and that it will be for keeps.

One thing I fear most about the live and spontaneous setup plus the free reign FS moments, is the fact that the entire show becomes a social experiment with our two loves as the catalysts for the captive audience of the series. Now, granting that they just actually see each other during KS, that they only have an idea of the general flow, not of the twists and pasabog plot, there really is a ‘danger’ of them feeling exactly and on a personal level the emotions that the series wants to emit.
Talk about a double-edged sword where an inexperienced and vulnerable warrior might get seriously injured as he tries to wield it in battle. These two are alleged to not be seeing other people, supposed to not be communicating nor are having any personal interaction off-cam, yet they try to make each other feel giddy and in love for the benefit of their viewers.
Now, these unguarded moments, where the audience seems to feel the seemingly personal level connection, would be felt (to the actors) as an indirect conditioning event – the tension, excitement and acting chops try to wrestle one another in their minds. This is in comparison to a scripted series where two actors who see each normally see each other and mentally, psychologically and artistically prepare for a scene. Kung ako din nasa lugar nila e malilito ako kung totoo ba yung kilig o residue lang nung good feels na pinapaproject sa akin.
Dito nagkakatalo yung magagaling na actors kasi kaya nilang ilabas yun in a natural way, dama nila e kasi, to a certain level, affected sila sa ginagawa nila. Hence, we cry when they do, we smile when they see each other, we feel GV or BV when they feel that too. Sa hindi kagalingan na actors, ang labas ng isang scene scripted at robotic pa rin kasi nga unnatural, scripted and on cue… hindi tumagos yung scene sa kamalayan nila.

Okay. Although this thread provides realistic and objective insights from intellectual viewers, I would want to say that I’m signing off from the comments section. For sure, if something good happens again today, the mood here will have a 180 degree turn. I’m actually tired of this. At first, I’m tolerant but not anymore. This induces bipolar tendencies and strongly affects my interest to the KS. IF there is one reason, I will go back here, that would be the post of Sir Vilo. As with me, I’ll stick with what I believe since Day 1, and that has never changed so far. It has been more than two months and counting. Cheers everyone and thanks.

Kudos to EB for bringing back the “Isadora” angle at this time. With no weeksary to look forward to and no A&M story to focus on till maybe early next week, this new plot is a good thing. I’d really have this rather than watch a sad yaya till the real A gets back. Let’s see if this new development will affect the ratings in any way. I am genuinely curious.
Maybe, EB cannot impose on GMA at a certain point on A’s availability, so it’s a good step for them to always be ready to have plots that does not include him esp during the days or weeks that he is not available.
Another upside of not having A around is that, KS can experiment with new faces in the segment like Baby Baste and Ryzza. The li’l boy is sooo cute and brings in a lot of smiles from the viewers. Who knows, they can even find ways to make use of the other EB hosts who have not been getting too much exposure in KS. Malay natin, they can develop new characters who are also studio-based. They can look at the possibility of using Keempee, Ryan, Allan, Patricia, Pia etc in some KS episodes. Napaka-talented ng EB hosts and napaka-game!!! Everything and anything is possible since they are supposed to be a free-flowing pot of ideas.
With A’s busy skeds, it’s good for KS to slowly churn episodes that are not story-dependent on him. Life goes on, the show must and will go on.
The audience should also slowly be open to new developments instead of the daily staples we are used to. KS is and should not be dependent on 1 or 2 central characters. Team yan and they can fill in for each other. The show should not suffer in case 1 character becomes unavailable.
This is a good hiccup for everybody that can lead to a more exciting KS if seen in a positive light.
Sabi nga ni Lola, hindi araw-araw pasko, hindi araw-araw kilig, so ok din na sa ibang araw, hindi love story ang hatid kundi story na kakaiba pero hitik pa rin sa aral at saya. With EB, nothing is impossible di ba.

I don’t think there were any impositions made by EB or GMA on the actors’ schedules. The show has always been flexible with their hosts’s absences. I actually appreciate the KS more now considering all the constraints that the creative team has to work with and how they still manage to impart lessons. They’ve made up hilarious excuses for the characters’ absences before (which were really due to sickness, vacation time or tardiness). Now they have to work around the main actors’ prior commitments.
I was actually amused with how the others here responded to A’s absence on Tuesday. I can imagine Jose in his good-natured ribbing self saying, “Naloko namin kayo no?” Hahaha. We just have to take the prank with a healthy sense of humor kasi nga ang mapikon kay Jose, talo!
The other little tidbits that I liked in this week’s episodes are: Lola Tinidora’s beef with the tall Chinese-looking quando (after the Gilas loss) and Yaya Dub’s attempt to dubsmash Baby B’s serenade (esp. the bulol parts) and… can we give Mr. Walter James Bayola a round of applause for today’s performance?
My fearless forecast is that A & M won’t be around tomorrow. And at the start, Lola N in her usual penchant for dramatic build-up won’t divulge it until after Sugod Bahay… only to reveal that the reason for Yaya’s absence is that she is out with Isadora. I’m curious to know who will play that part. My wild guess is Paolo B after they make an excuse that Tidora went back to Massachusetts for some emergency…. but I’ve never gotten anything right with the KS. And that’s what I love about the show.

Now, I must say, I am impressed with the certain patches written and executed by the whole EB / KS production – how they have tailored the story in such a way that they cover up the absence of A. The lessons imparted by Lola N never fails to be imprinted in our minds and hearts.
I have recently posted that my interest in KS / M and A is slowly fading away. But this realization is a bit immaturity on my part. I have realized, after the two days that A has not been in the show, that indeed, EB / KS is truly a ‘perfect venue’ to bring back long forgotten values and lessons in life that we / the youth have forgotten or even have not heard of before.
I am not a true blooded KS fanatic before… but I think I am slowly becoming one now. Kuddos to the bright-minded people behind this show. I am dreaming beyond impossibilities that I could be part of their team 😉

That tweet didn’t really do a lot for me. To me, it was still safe. But I will not crucify him for it, I think that is just the way he is– very calculated. I will just patiently wait for him to step up his game in his own time… and I think he soon will, with a little push from Maine… haha! I am so enamoured with her, very quick-witted.

Me too…. I didn’t buy A’s tweet… It was so out of character (the real him) to do that. As they say “showbiz an showbiz” kind of thing to do. I feel that he just did that to appease all those who reacted negatively to his sudden absence from the show. Now whether he did that on his own or at the prodding of whoever, I don’t know or care. It worked though, fans went gaga over it. As Vilo,said before he is a charmer….

I’m getting used to not seeing him in KS anymore. The Lolas and M did a good job, Baby Bastee is a bonus. KS may not have kilig scenes but it is one funny segment, I appreciated JoWaPao more! Kudos to the creative team!
At the back of my mind, I hope they realised that it is KS who made him this big. And at least make KS his priority and not the out of town shows. Although obviously they will choose out of town shows because it pays more.
Oh well. that’s how it is.

I couldn’t agree more with you guys. A’s is really an actor and a charmer. Very “showbiz” like indeed. That ‘s what I’ve felt from the very start. Weaning the viewers away from A is I think a good move by EB. EB can stand on its own without A. M and the other EB’s pool of talents can carry the show without him as proven by its 36 years of existence in the business. A owes his present status to EB and M. That’s a lot to be thankful for.
Why don’t we just enjoy the show and continue to be entertained. Chill and relax lang tayo!

Today’s KalyeSerye episode. My thoughts..

I think it’s safe to say that, this week, is our very first AlDub draught. The plot is focused (Well, atleast just for now) on Yaya Dub and the Lolas. Yung mga pangaral ni Lola NIdora are parang scapegoat nalang sa pagkawala ni A for this week, I guess talagang hindi pasko at kilig araw-araw.
The last part, “Ito na ang tamang panahon para sa inyo ni…..ISADORA” *honk honk honk*
Aaah! Napa-asa ako dun ah! Akala ko talaga si ano, eh. Welp, another plot twist that has (kinda) pulled me back in!
At this rate, I feel like KS’s storyline will dragged until November-December. But I’m actually pretty glad about it, I don’t want KS to end just YET. They have to stay hot until their MMFF movie comes out.
What do you guys think of the Isadora plot twist? Could this be the writers trying to fill in the plot holes of KS? If I could just point out some of the plot holes in the story:
1. Yung secret diary ni Lola
2. Si Lola Isadora at si Dudong
Wow, it’s gonna be interesting how this storyline will go. Kailan kaya ang tamang panahon nila Yaya Dub at Alden? Magpapakita na kaya ba si Dudong? (played by A)

@chuckbestseries the uploaded video thats runs for about 28 minutes oct. 3 episode.There’s a certain part there where Lola Nidora is talking to bossing. Meanwhile at the audio, conversation of A and M can be heard. A’s asking if M have a bf wherein M answers “wala pa”. At least thats what I heard. 🙂

I watched the video over and over and it seems na that was really the conversation, although it’s just funny na prior to the Saturday episode, he tweeted “TULOY ANG FOREVER” in reference to the card Maine gave to him, tapos he doesn’t know pa pala at that time if she has a boyfriend? Labo. LOL. One would think na if you’re really interested in someone, that would be one of the first questions you’ll ask. Just my two cents.

Hahaha… Ok, assuming we all heard the same thing… he most likely already did his homework and asked around but it’s different when you ask the lady in person. I can only guess/infer two possible reasons why he asked-First, he is trying to double check that his homework is right and so he can ask for her number thereafter and “walang magagalit”. (galawang breezy) Two, he is somewhat making his intentions known to her. M is an intelligent and yet possible unassuming lady but typically, when a guy asks a girl is she has a boyfriend

Just wanna share about what happen yesterday and today…..Even i was bit disappointed yesterday when A did not appear not paramdam sa buong KS segment. But then again napaisip ako what happen since saturday. A big kudos sa sa mga EB writer. ANg tataba ng utak… Well, here it is. inputs lng and self judgment lng ha.no offense sa mga tatamaan.
Sa mga ngsasabi n di pinag-isipan ng EB ang mangyayari this week. I think mali. Syempre no, di nman pwede n di mg-aadvice c A sa EB. And ang nangyari since SAt is connected sa mga mangyayari this week. Does anyone thought why lola nidora request na mgpalit cna A at M from broadway to kalye? Wala pero nangyari tapos fans thought it’s a good thing for M to showcase her talent and to develop more and meron pa nga ngsabi, para mkapagrehearse c M for grand finals. Fans lang ng-isip nun pero iba pala nsa isip ng writers. Last Monday, tuwang tuwa na nman lhat dahil sa bgong Rogelio. Ang gwapo e! Habang nag lhat ay aliw n aliw sa muscle ni A na may kasamang pambibitin pa kung mgkakasama cla sa broadway or sa back to normal, no one knew na wala pala sya s broadway kahapon. Pwedeng gusto ng mga writer masiyhan muna lahat, kiligin muna para may aabangan. Di kung ngpaalam cya, walang thrill. Nsanay lng kc tayo ng lagi cya ngpapaalam at ngtatanong kung ano gusto pasalubong. Buti na lng may “spoiler”. At natawa tlaga ako dun. Habang ang lahat ay intense sa mga ganap that day, biglang nahopia. ang daming frustrated. Ung walang kamalay-malay, nabash ng wala sa oras. Mind u all, napag-isipan n ng mga writer ang mga mangyayari this week at nkapag-adjust na rin cla sa kwento. Naisip nyo ba bkit bigla pumasok sa kwento c yaya luvs, kala ng iba pang-aliw lng. Di ba kung walang yayang luvs nung monday, walang kasplit screen c M nung Tuesday at idagdag pa ntin c Baste. Last saturday pa rin, maybe kaya hinayaan cla mg-usap sa background kc ang maine cam ay nasa TVJ at kay lola is for them to have time to talk at magpaalam na rin c A personally about his absence for the coming days. Ung lungkot ni M, akting lng un. Lam nya talaga n wala c A. Sabi ng direktor e. Baka kaya ngmessage c M sa board na pahinga din pag may time as well as her tweet if this is intended to A to take care of himself kc she knew na dami commitment c A the whole week until next week.
And today, may nakapag-isip ba na biglang mapapasok n nman sa kwento c isadora? wala n nman kc ng-aabang n nman kay A n suddenly dumating. E wala, hopia na namn. Mother daughter bonding muna daw to live with the lessons ng KS. Let’s not forget the reality. Everyday nman tlga di pwede kayo lng 2. They just giving us some lesson not to attached so much on something. EB knew what they are doing. Fans are just very attached that sometimes they forgot that this story has its own writer and do not always depend on what they fans are thinking. E di kung alam natin lahat mangyayari, e di wala ng trabaho writer. Abang abang na lng tayo lahat sa mga ganap soon. hirap kaya mahopia! Go on with ur life and do not depend to much sa KS. A and M have life after KS. Remember.

Here is my theory on this..
No direct replies or even direct mentions cause my off cam communication na sila..
longer version..
They exchanged numbers sa table nila last Saturday.. with A telling he’d be busy the whole week because of commitments.. thus prompting M to tweet the take care of yourself tweet and write pahinga ka pag may time dun sa EB Plywood.. 2nd tweet that I wrote.. this is a long shot pero may tampo factor kasi di nagkita? ewan. or baka… hehe (di ko na susulat daming mababaliw sa pag ka nega dito e) 😛
Then the 3rd tweet came.. With all the genuine reactions that we got from A for the past 3 weeks. 100% that was for M. There is a chance na may communication sila off cam pero A misses interacting with her live. yung nakikita niya reactions ni M sa mga ginagawa nila sa split screen. Isipin mo, 2months niyang nakikita yung mukha ni M na napaka ganda’t ma-ffall ka nga naman talaga. haha! Ang kumontra kukurutin ko. hahaha.
Then yung tweet ni Daddy Bae, basta, kilala ko siya na mahilig ilaglag yung anak niya sa tweets. nahuli niya siguro si A na nag a-I miss you kay M and vice versa.

I posted somewhere in this blog (I think the Voice within) my thoughts na they really are communicating na talaga and its moving a notch higher from M’s FS sign na Pahinga ka ha linking it A’s shoutout to God with Aldub you relating it to what he was doing based on KB’s IG posts.
1) she knows he’s leaving the ff day and wants him to rest
2) nagpaalam ulit si A Kay M kaya may tweet na Take good care of yourself
3) Dahil he left early to Naga and same kay KB madam ang makatulog sya and he was able to recoup /rest, gumising si A na may sweet message Galing kay M
(Naligaw Lang yun comment ko kasi it’s the first time that I’m commenting and joining should i saw the bandwagon. )
I’ve been worried for M sa posts nya today and A’s parang walang ni ha ni hi na reaction. But his tweet this pm nakakapagpagaan ng loob kahit wala sya KS. I’m looking forward more on what would happen after the cameras roll and I hope all will end well

I like your theory chuckbestseries. A part of me does not want to believe that A’s tweet today was for M, but there is also a part that is saying yes it was. Like you said they see each other everyday kahit split screen lang. For almost 3 months that they are doing that, making each other kilig ‘to the bones’, energised and happy, sino nga di makakamiss sa taong nagdudulot nito sayo. I mentioned it before in my previous comment, M is A’s energy drink and happy pill. That is also why I’m quite certain that he is falling for her.
I’m okay with A not being present in EB, KS is still a teleserye with a reality twist to it, it’s not always kilig…as Lola Nidora say. It has to evolve. It’s a pagsubok na rin sa ating sumusubaybay. It still gives me the GV on a daily basis.

As per Direk Joey’s post on his IG, Alden was supposed to go to EB that day, but since jampacked and schedule niya for that day and he was still sick (remember he was checked up by a doctor while he was in Naga), his staff advised him not to go and instead rest before he goes to Bataan; thus, the tweet. He really tried na humabol. In essence, they were following Maine’s wish for Alden to rest.

Hmmm, it’s probably the cynic in me, but Daddy Bae strikes me as someone who has already learned the ropes of show business. Mas showbiz pa nga minsan kaysa kay Alden eh, hahaha! He knows how to incite kilig and curiosity among AlDub/MaiDen followers. Cute and nakakakilig yung mga laglag tweets nya, but I will keep my eyes peeled for RJ’s and Meng’s interaction for now.

I think more than any person save for A himself, his father knows what’s up. So true, he knows how to incite kilig and curiosity as you pointed out, but I am certain that he also realizes that if ever it gets proven that his tweets were just fan service, then these would all backfire on his son. Maybe he is just making up for A’s reticence. Now as to your earlier comment about A’s having to ask if M has a boyfriend, yes I agree that if he were truly interested, then he would have done research about it like people here have done and he would be aware of M’s past relationship. As he has been in showbiz for a number of years, he is aware that although M has said she is single, it may not be true. So who best to ask than M herself di ba? So that’s how I view it. I could be wrong, but it makes sense to me.

I’m sure with all the information one can gather online, A has already done his research about M. I don’t know how kids do it nowadays, but back in the day, asking a girl kung “may boyfriend ka na ba?” is usually a prelude to letting the girl know that you are interested in courting her. if the girl says no, or not yet, it is usually followed up with “pwede ba kitang ligawan?” I’d like to believe that this was his intention in asking her the question that we were not supposed to be privy to. Oops!. Alden is probably an old soul or got tips from his dad. 🙂

Agree that he is assessing what his next move would be base on M’s answer. As a fellow cyber stalker of M’s account, it is pretty obvious that she has no bf, but it doesn’t mean that she is not seeing someone exclusively. And yes another possibility is meron syang dating ka MU na A might think she still have some feelings for. So for me, tama lang na tanungin nya si M if she has a bf. Knowing A’s personality, I’m sure he wants to make sure wala syang nababangga na someone if manligaw man sya. Im sure ang next question ni A after M said wala pa would be can i get your number. I’d love to see Lola Isadora come back in the story after that plot twist awhile ago. I’m trying to wonderful scenario in my head, where Isadora comes right back in the story along with Dudong.
Isadora’s character is played my Maine, obviously. And you got Dudong being played by Alden. Then put them in the same frame together with a script or improv, try putting some interaction there. I could see how that would turn out. But I probably would just wanna see that in the plot becasue I would still see them as Alden and Maine rather than Dudong and Isadora.

The audio is not edited.
It’s now up to the fans to decipher what was really said (our brains could be fooling us because that’s what we want to hear.)
This made me really happy though.

sorry for the late reply. I just took a short break from my grad class to check on the vid posted above. I used the desktop pc because the speaker was good. so yeah, you need to really listen well because wally’s voice was loud, but it was their voices. The vid was so short so I couldn’t see if their mics were on the table. When I went back to class ewan ko if my students noticed na para akong bunny na may energizer. Anyway, after picking up my son at work, went home derecho sa laptop. I watched the full video and kept straining because the cam does not stay too long on the table, but it finally did and A’s mic was on the table to his right. Didn’t see M’s.So there.

1. Meron totohanan dito at genuine talaga siya
– Isa sa mga binebentang produkto ng Kalye-Serye ay ang ‘organic’ factor nito. Sa kabila ng mga improv at iilang scripted plot, inaabangan ng karamihan ang mga natural na pangyayari. At minsan maaari natin makita ‘to sa mga reaksyon ni Alden. At dahil aminado siyang God-fearing siyang tao, minsan gusto mo magtiwala ng lubusan. Kung totoo man na ganito nga, wow nakaka-inspire!
2. He may be lying
-it’s either 1 or 2. Pasensya na sa mga fans, wag magalit. Opinyon ko lang naman ito at pwedeng hindi kayo sang-ayon dito.
-Bakit ko nasabi ‘to? Kung 100% aktingan lang ito, sakin okay lang. Trabaho yan eh. Pero, gaya ng sabi ng mga ibang nag comment sa previous blog ni mr. Vilo sa ‘I Saw What You Did There, Alden Richards’, bilang tao, wag ka na magpakita ng mga ‘subtle hints’ na para bang pinaparamdam mo sa mga manunuod na merong totohanan. Kaya wag kayo magugulat sa mga reaksyon ng fans kung may mga maririnig sila outside KalyeSerye na di nila gusto. In the first place, what the show is trying to sell (or maybe unintentional too) is the ‘truth’ – that somehow behind all these, parang may totohanan.
He may be God-fearing, but kung aktingan lamang ito, he should check his motives. Draw the line. Wag na idamay si Maine Mendoza, si Yaya dub lang ang ligawan mo.
This goes for the rest of the EB crew, esp the ones above the line, ingatan ang paghawak ng show na ito kasi kung mauuuna ang pansariling ‘gain’ meron at merong masasaktan.

I agree with you on the use of “Yaya Dub” instead of Meng or Maine on the show (regardless of it being real or reel). I see Maine being professional and sticking to her character in the series but someone should tell Alden to stick to using Yaya Dub.
Though I do get that the intention of Alden was good – to show the importance of asking the parents’ permission/blessing prior to a date, I also found it awkward seeing A approach M’s parents during that episode. I thought I saw M’s dad try to leave when A was approaching but seeing that A was already there, he was polite enough to go along with the whole thing. It would’ve been fine if they were advised ahead of time that such a scene would happen but it didn’t seem that way. Of course I may be wrong in my interpretation. That said, if the family didn’t take any issue with this, so should we.
As for the honesty of the show and its people, I still believe that there are no intentions to deceive us. And it is my earnest hope I’m not being taken for a ride, too.

I believe the reason that the ‘asking permission’ of parents part that A did was for the sake of the lesson/aral that KS is trying to show.
But still though, you can’t deny the awkward tension while that was all happening. You could also feel how uncomfortable M’s mom is. But ehhh, it’s all for show afterall. Cheers.

@madolldoll – not exactly accurate about Maine sticking to yayadub character. There was an instance where Maine asked Alden through a FS to write her real name instead, and I am paraphrasing, “pwede bang Maine na lang?”. It was on the last gap I think of one episode. I find it really cute. I love it.. Also, about the “mano” to the Mendozas, her siblings showed positive response about that. Read their twitter postings that day( the ates and the kuya) and you’ll see how positively they responded on Alden’s gesture. If the family is okay with it, then that’s good enough for me.

Yes, thanks for pointing that out.It is true that Maine has been reciprocating the “real name” calling too with the use of Tisoy in recent FS’s (but at least it was never Richard). I was thinking more about the acting in character part when I mentioned sticking to the Yaya Dub character.
I may have missed the gap you were referring to but I assume that the exchange happened after Gasgas Abelgas’ concluding remarks? I wouldn’t treat that as part of the KS.
I’d like to correct myself too. Instead of Yaya Dub, it would probably be more appropriate for A to call her “Divina” instead during the KS. Lola N has called her that a few times, too, as this is her character’s real first name. It wouldn’t be appropriate for a suitor to call her Yaya.

I think they were advised of what was going to happen, given where they were seated while it was happening. That was not where they were initially, and where they were after that scene. I’m pretty sure, though, that they felt awkward. Doesn’t matter if they knew what was going to happen or not, they are not used to being in front of the camera. From what I gather, they are very low key people.

About the pagmamano issue, go back to the video where A was being helped by Ruby and Allan K. pick an outfit. He looked up then proceeded out the door to where the Mendozas are. I’ve noticed this from the beginning that their chairs were situated on stage. So it was part of the script and maybe the uneasiness of the Mendozas come from not being used to be on the spotlight. Everytime I see comments about how A should not have done this I always wonder if I imagined their seats onstage so I watched it again and there’s my answer.

Hi Penn totally agree with everything you said. One way or another if this isn’t handled properly and carefully, a lot of people will be hurt. They are walking on hot coals at the moment. I sometimes wonder if this is one of the reason why A is really working his b.tts off without any rest.
I only hope that Aldubnation and all the other fandom of of these two beautiful individuals will support them throughout and should refrain from any negativity.
Just like to add regarding the video that came out today with A&M’s convo last Sat, as much as I was excited about it (if what we heard is indeed correct), for some reason there’s a part of me that feels a bit uncomfortable. It felt like I shouldn’t really be listening to it, that it is ‘for their ears only’. Sorry, just how I feel.

I hope that the pretentious side of showbiz did not rub into A otherwise he is exhibiting false humility. If everything is a lie then he will not be really happy and he will never achieve contentment and happiness if what matters most to him is fame and material riches. What I appreciate though is this , if he acted presko and binola lang si Maine to advance his career and for sex di ba mas masakit? Two birds in one stone iyon pwede niya idahilan LT nila so they will always be physically together. But no, he chose to be on guard with his words and actions which is better naman . I could drop names from showbiz who are always going after the underpants of their leading ladies. Buti na lang with him hindi pa naman niya siniseduce dalaga natin. Hirap nga lang baka si A ma-seduce.

@Cate, yes I have seen a lot of male showbiz personalities who would take advantage of their female LT partners in the guise of promoting the partnership. But I think yung binata natin is a reasonably decent fellow. Remember when Joey placed A’s arm around M? Ang dami kinilig and I guess A was thankful for the chance, because he wouldn’t have done that on his own, but I wasn’t too happy with it because M’s parents were there. I think Joey’s act did not register right away with M, but I think she saw herself on the big screen and her eyes grew big, with a hint of worry, and she looked in A’s direction and if I read it correctly, she was trying to call his attention. A must have seen her reaction on the screen, so he slowly took his arm off her shoulder. So even if nothing comes out of all these, I am glad that M got A for her first LT partner. Of course, mas maganda kung first and last, but if she intends to stay long in the business, it will not be healthy to have just one screen partner.

I promised myself to lie low and stop giving my two cents but I just want to say something in defense of my manok. The very thing that gets people frustrated when it comes to A (his being makupad & not showy) is the very thing that keeps me rooting for him. The boy is not flashy and is not out there to convince the whole Aldub nation. He is true to himself and has not succumbed to the pressures of making flowery declarations (outside of KS) for ratings sake. Ninja moves lang na intended for M. Fortunately for us we have a very vigilant SOCO team & those people around them na willing mag laglag! I don’t take it as “he does not like her enough”. I take it as “he respects her & does not want to compromise their relationship. He knows fully well that every wink & every flying kiss will be tweeted 26 million times. If he was after fame alone he can milk this for all it’s worth, but he’s not. Why? Because it will be at the expense of M. I am 101% sure may mga maneuvers na behind the scene. I can see M’s reactions. Kung before she was always looking for assurances in her FS, now sagot “girlfriend” na yung mga responses nya. Her confidence in knowing who she is to RFJ is showing. Next stop…TAMANG PANAHON! (Regine) WOOOOOOOH!

I am a fan of M more than A. But I like him for her basing on her other options. Like it or not they have to work together at least for the time being. She could have had a crush on somebody else na pa cute & pa kilig lang ang alam, who would have taken advantage of that knowledge.At the very least…he is a decent guy. It seems like magiging best friends po tayo. 😀 Pareho takbo ng utak natin. I’m rooting for A because of those same reasons too. You know, I never ever got disappointed with his urong sulong, not showy whatevs moves talaga.
Nakakatawa nga kasi pag nagbabasa ako ng comments and people get disappointed dahil mabagal raw si Alden, napapakunot noo ako kasi ako gusto ko yung ginagawa niya.
In fact, when he does that, mas kinikilig ako. It makes it all real kasi. Yung hindi showbiz. Hahaha. Kaming magkakapatid actually, kinikilig pag ganyan because he’s staying true to what he says and to his being RFJ. I’ve always thought kasi if it was another guy na famewhore, ano kaya gagawin? Maybe say some pashowbiz and paasa things just to please the fans? Maybe throw some banat at pakilig lines via twitter? Maybe say the words the fans are dying to hear? I don’t know. But when he stays true to himself and says “I want to know her better and personally bago magsabi ng ganito ganyan.”, “gusto agad? hindi pa nga nagkikita at nagkakausap” mga ganyang echos niya..sobrang kinikilig ako at naghohopia na baka may patutunguhan tong lahat. Because come on, totoo naman diba? 2 months pa lang gusto na agad? hindi pa nagkikita in person..gusto niyo magpakatotoo na feelings agad?.
Tapos everytime nagkikita sila ni Maine, his body’s reaction is really nakakatawa. Like sa interviews and laglagan, he tries to not really say a thing na mag iisip ang mga fans na may ‘something’ pero his body is betraying him kapag nagkikita na sila ni Maine. Kawawang bata. 😀
I think one of the reasons why super successful and phenomenal ang AlDub, it’s because of Maine and RJ’s ugali rin. It’s their sincerity talaga. And I do understand naman why some fans are really reacting na it’s boring because we’re used to LTs na natutuloy talaga sa pagiging mag On ilang buwan pa lang nagkatrabaho eh. But how can we expect them to be like those other LTs eh tong dalawa ibang iba ang pagiging LT? Naging Lt agad di pa nga nagmimeet tapos in love agad? Chill lang tayo uuuyyyyy. 😉
Lagi ko din talaga naiisip, what if iba yung naging kaLT ni Maine? what if hindi si Alden? what if it was someone mayabang or who is not like Alden, would I even be drawn to this LT? Yung humility ni Alden, yung sincerity niya, yung pagiging maka Diyos and not giving in to the pressure..ang hirap gawin niyan at yun mismo ang dahilan kaya nadrawn ako sa AlDub. Ang hirap gawin na parang sinasabihan nila ang mga fans na “Hinay hinay lang po” but guess what? they’re doing it. Si Alden kasi ang nagsiset ng pace ng lahat ng ito. Siya ang frontline ng Lt. Siya lagi nagsasalita. Siya lagi pinipressure. Siya lagi nakaharap sa camera. So, pwede naman siyang magsabi ng kung anong echos para tumahimik na lahat pero wiz sinabi ang bagets at tuloy lang sa buhay niya. Imagine if it was someone na sunggab lang ng sunggab and hindi nag iisip ng iba or does not respect Maine’s situation? Naku, mahihirapan si Menggay natin.
So, buti na lang it’s Alden. Buti na lang ganyan ang ginagawa ni Alden. Kapag pwede nang magpa interview si Maine, at least makuculture shock na andami niyang kailangan sagutin dahil wala namang sinasabi si Alden. Okay na yun.
Now, I’m praying for his safety and health na lang muna. And praying na sana makapagpahinga si A. And I’m getting myself ready na for next week dahil…..sabog ang lahat ng naipong kilig for this week. 🙂

I think ‘FOREVER’ means the process, or the road, towards something special, to their future, to forever.
And it involves a whole LOT of things, and steps.
I would like to think na para ke RRFjr, nag-umpisa ito doon sa “ready na ako’ FS where he finally was able to erase all his doubts, and conclude, that he is now ready to know another person deeply -NMDCM.
I think our princess, on the other hand, is the one that has still doubts whether she is ready to entertain this whole thing having been in a long (5 years) and memorable relationship.
Those kilig moments of her in KS are typical reactions when a girl meets her crush, but then she is a smart and mature girl and knows that KS is still a TV show,
l am sure deep inside and off cam she still questions her true feelings.
Probably M bared her self to A in that letter, A understood and was able to know her more and a bit deeper, thus ‘Tuloy ang Forever’,
signifying that he intends to purse this road even further.
Napakarami pang dadaanang forks and barricades in the road to forever ng dalawang batang ito.
Pero masarap imadyinin na magiging witness tayong lahat.
Kaya ako, chill chill lang dito sa gilid gilid..
Sana marating nila yung dulo.. together.

I’d like to share my thought regarding this coming GF of Bulaga Pa More. Maybe different from above comments, so apologies. I hope that they glam M more than her previous performances. I wasn’t really into her wearing Disney style gowns either. I know she is portrayed as a princess but she can be a modern one, like Kate Middleton perhaps. Don’t get me wrong I like her simplicity and that is one of the reasons I am into her. She doesn’t need to show so much skin for people to admire her. She is such a gorgeous girl. She has such distinct/striking features that are so beautiful and needed to be highlighted. In fact she reminds me of those classic actresses especially in the photos taken during the shoot of her TVCs. This is her time to shine, to show everyone that she has the right to be in this business. To prove those people who criticises her wrong. And of course, to make A fall for her even more (kahit na alam nating he already finds her beautiful). Pang GV lang.

It think the princess getup is necessary for her to stick to the “Fatalbugan” theme of her performance. I think the contest requires that they pick a segment that was previously done in the 36 years of EB (ie. A’s is Mr. Pogi; Paolo’s is Super Sireyna? etc.)?

Agree with this. I’d like to see M’s wardrobe get updated on that day. Exchange her daily flats for killer heels. I know she’ll be playing drums on that day, would like to see her wearing something more glammed up.

I bet for show. The first part of the vid is Zamboanga City. Also saw some private pictures of friends posing with him. Despite being all smiles, the boy looks dead on his feet. He looked like he lost some weight, too, and there are eye bags… I’m just wondering how much these out-of-town mall shows pay, and are they worth it?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m never against being assuming. I like the happiness that I feel pag nag aassume ako na for real sila. (I still believe majority of what they show on TV after the 1st date was FOR REAL, btw)

It’s not “ribbon cutting” in the literal sense. Also, just to put things in perspective before any of you think to laugh at Alden again… There’s one talent fee to make an appearance, plus additional talent fee per song… Anne Curtis sang a few songs.
Citymall- 3pm – -paid between P60,000 – P80,000
Southway – 8pm -judge at a beauty pageant – another P60,000 – P80,000
Tito, Vic & Joey have the right to laugh at getting paid “only” P60,000 to “cut ribbons” in another city. TVJ make more.
But, none of you Haters n Bashers in this post will ever get paid P60,000 for anything. Alden probably made between P120,000 – P160,000 in One day. Allow me to break it down some more: that’s about P15,000 PER HOUR for the time he spent there.
Go ahead, LAUGH at Alden Richards for only “cutting ribbons”…

I don’t know why, but it’s so disappointing to see there are rabid fans who are so obsessive and protective of their idols na pati yung loveteam partner ng idol nila kaya nilang ibash.
When I feel down over the negative comments in twitter and other forum sites, I like coming to this site, even if there are differing views, the comments are objective and there is great respect for these two lovely people. 🙂
Also, I’m so proud of Meng, she’s so new to all of this but she’s proving quite a revelation with her acting skills. Galing!

Actually meron na ngang comments na bakit daw after ng KS nag-post si Alden and hindi man lang pinakita during the segment itself para naman daw may kilig ang weeksary ngayon kasi nakakalungkot ang recent developments.
Nakakaloka ang expectations ng ibang fans! Nung hindi sumagot sa mga tweets ni Maine, wala daw gusto kay Maine and ang bagal, mauunahan pa ng ibang admirers ni Maine. Ngayon nag-po-post na nga ng mga sweet messages, bakit daw hindi ginawa habang KS is on para makita ng buong bayan ang declarations of affection ni Alden? Saan ka pa, di ba? Walang paglagyan si Alden hahahaha
I love Alden’s way of making his presence known. Most likely pinapanood nya pa din ang KS wherever he goes. Mas gusto ko na hindi sya nag-post kanina until after KS because this week Maine has been flourishing and shining bright. Siguro naman alam ni Alden yun, so he let her have her moment to own that stage and show us what she’s capable of, before he posted that video of him with the 3 roses.
But really, how sweet is that boy? Nakakakilig pumorma si Alden ha, in fairness naman! 3 roses?! The meaning is so cliche (and he made sure to show that he’s holding 3 roses) but Alden, from what I’m coming to understand, is quite old-fashioned and even a bit “baduy”. And that makes him so adorable, because you don’t see his type that much anymore.
Yes, he’s not demonstrative on TV and on EB but my goodness, he’s been killing it on social media for the past 2 days now, hasn’t he? And because we know he’s not the type of person to wax poetic on twitter and to offer the sky and stars to Maine on a public platform, it makes his recent tweets and Instagram posts that much more genuine and heartfelt, especially the timing of his posts…right after KS airs and when there’s no way we can deny those words and gestures are for Maine and her only.
Also, kudos to EB and the KS crew for making Alden’s absence a blessing in disguise and letting Maine show she’s more than the Dubsmash Queen. Imagine if Alden was still there? Maine would be dubsmashing 90% of the segment and writing fansigns and giggling. Kilig is nice, but what I am seeing now from Maine? I want more of it. She’s getting those acting workshops on live TV and it’s not easy, yet she manages to amaze us time and time again.
And look at her. I mean, LOOK AT HER. She is magnificent, is she not? She can hold her own against veteran actors like Wally, Paolo, and Jose. If it’s comedy, she can deliver. If it’s drama, her tears become the nation’s tears. Look at TVJ hanging on to her every expression. Everyone is drawn to her. Ang lakas ng appeal nya eh.
She’s quite a treasure. I’m sure the entire EB family, her family, and Alden must be very impressed and proud of her. Magaling sya, sobra!

Agree with your thoughts. Do those who are questioning his timing or the reasons for his either late or non-tweets, or whether the tweets are real or pa-showbiz, here are some of my thoughts on that:
1) He did not post that weeksary video right before or during the KS, because he probably wanted M to shine today. If he posted that earlier, eh di, na-distract na ang fans and M’s performance wouldn’t be noticed as much as we all did earlier.
2) He was an artist respecting another artist. Ayaw nya masapawan si M today. Period.
3) Only A knows whether his tweets etc etc etc are for real or pa-showbiz. We can only speculate and hopefully not judge his character in doing so. Personally, I think that the guy is real despite being in the biz for 5 years or so. I believe him when he said that he doesn’t give his audience crap, that what you see is what you get. So far, I still think that he still does not give us crap, thus, the honest answers he gives each time he is interviewed. Safe, yes. I would rather take safe and honest answers as long as they are true than to get showbiz answers but half-truths just to make me happy.

I hope they will have a sitcom the five of them together. It’s high time to give a break to JoWaPao because they have been underrated. At least if they pull out KS from EB and once a week lang, each actor could still attend to their other respective engagements. In the case of A bec he has strong acting skills pwede pa siyang gumawa ng movies that are of high quality and would be good to remember him by. Hindi lang pang-commercial. Kagandahan ng sitcom it could last for years to come because the stoy line could evolve. They could use the formula of John en Marsha (local), Friends, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang theoory. These shows run for a decade. With J&M more pa yata. With sitcom too they could highlight the different characters so everybody has their turn to shine. I have such aversion to soap operas. Goodness. If I want a load of depressing stuff I’d rather watch the news. At least alam ko totoo. I have yet to see a soap opera na talagang maganda (you are welcome to correct me if I am wrong). Purgang-purga lang ako sa mga ’80s drama movies dati reeking of self- pity and victimized mentality. Baka ma-instill pa sa audience that that is the norm and there’s no other way to live your life. I hope KS will step up more not only in portraying real life but inspiring people as well. It’s touching to see that people with terminal illnesses and chronic illnesses are somehow getting relieved from their pain even momentarily through this segment. Abangers muna ako.

weeksary ng Aldub 2day pero kahit RECORDED MESSAGE OR VIDEO from Alden ay WALA/HOPIA.. it’s been 3 consecutive days na wala sya sa KS.. sure may ibang commitment sya sa labas but that should not be an excuse.. with today’s technology, its very easy to make call/video call kahit saang part ng mundo at few minutes lang nman ang kailangan from his time.. sabi q nga kahit recorded lang eh.. its very, very disappointing lalo n gaya q na televiewer..anyway nasanay na rin aq na wala sya, with or w/o him ok lang dahil nung mgstart naman sa EB si Maine ay JOWAPAO ang mga kasama nya at kaya nilang dalhin ang buong show.. (sorry folks personal opinion q lang to, i’m sure marami pang iba na kagaya ng sentiments q..peace!!!)

Na consider mo na ba na bawal talaga sila mag communicate during KS? for the 1st 2 days na wala si Alden sinasabi nila ung absence makes the heart grow fonder. Panuodin mo video ni Alden nag “maghintay ka laman at ako’y dadating” posted pagkatapos mismo ng KS.

Di ka parin titigil? ALAM NI MENG NA BUSY NGAYONG LINGGO SI ALDEN. kaya nga may message siya sa FANSIGN, PLYWOOD AT HIGIT SA LAHAT SA PERSONAL TWITTER ACCOUNT NIYA na sana, Magpahinga naman siya at mag ingat siya.

It was still the way to show other skills of M. Parang plan B yan e. and for it to work, itabi muna si A dian habang for real naman na wala siya. What I’m mad at is at the people saying wala ng paki elam yung tao. Lahat tayo may reasons. BS yang pag gusto may paraan, ayaw maraming dahilan na sinasabi nila. lol.E kung ang dahilan e wala ngang contact for KALYE SERYE’s YD & A. edi wala talaga. they can give a vid call or phone call man lang TO HELP THE NEW STORY LINE NA BINALIK NILA WHICH IS THE ISADORA STORYYYYYY. ugh

I think we have to take into consideration their handlers, the people who manage these two beautiful young souls. What are their motives? “Strike while the iron is hot” or “Nurture till the time is right.” Then, we will somehow understand the situation surrounding A and M. I do hope the people behind them realize that millions of people were drawn and are being drawn to A and M because of their sincerity, be it as actors or as human beings.
And they are are rare find, indeed. In a world where materialism and relativism pollute the minds of our youth, these two are breaths of fresh air. They are the NEW REBELS, the counter-culture that tries to topple the “culture of the norm” that pervades our society.
So, what’s my point? I pray that the management behind them will consider these values, these ideas, before they kill the geese that lay golden eggs for them.

I think it’s for show lang. Not bashing A here ha, but I think this started nung A went to Naga without saying goodbye to M on cam. Super daming nag bash & M’s pic with JT came out with that very sweet caption for M na ang dami ding natuwa. Feeling ko because of that he’s now forced to publicly be sweet to M. Not saying that they are not sweet off cam ha but it’s just not A’s personality kasi to be showy about his feelings on social media. (example: no reply to M’s post na take care)

I agree. A is an actor , he maybe not good as john lloyd cruz, but he can deliver. The IG post was for the fans. He had been a true gentleman whenever he gets interviewed and asked about his feelings for M, and he always responds that he still have to get to know M before he can say he like her. Which is for me is the TRUTH.
I do not want to pop the bubble of some fans, coz I am a fan too of these two , but the IG post today was obviosuly not for M but for the fans and for yaya Dub. But still, the effort for the sake of KS is well appreciated.

This is true pero hindi ko din sya masisi kasi the fans have been backing him into a corner for quite a while now. The guy must be under such enormous pressure to come and deliver every single time. That has to be mentally and emotionally draining for him, adding up to the physical exhaustion he’s been having lately.
If he’s becoming more vocal in public now, it’s because the fans have been demanding it of him and they’re using almost every weapon they can to make him do so. It’s becoming like emotional blackmail at this point.
When Alden does something, the fans want him to do even better next time, to double up the efforts and to make his actions more explosive. But when they think he doesn’t measure up for the 1000th time, they punish him by questioning his character and motives, insinuating he is fake, that he’s leading Maine on, that he’s doing this to earn all the money he can. Ilang tao na nagsabi na Alden is genuinely kind? Na what you see is what you get with him? That he’s not pretentious and showbiz?
Whatever he does now, it’s because he’s being forced to go the extra mile even when he probably doesn’t have the strength to give more and be more.
I don’t know if I want to laugh at how ridiculous things have escalated or if I should feel disturbed at some people’s double standards and myopic views when it comes to this love team.
Maine gets photographed with some guy: OMG! Bagay sila! Baka mas may say sya kesa kay Alden! Baka dapat isali sya sa KS para mahati ang attention ni Maine! You go, girl! Sige ka Alden, maunahan ka pa ni ____ kapag hindi ka kumilos!!!
Alden doesn’t let the fans know he’ll be away (and he doesn’t owe it to fans to let them know his every move, either) or gets pictured with some girl: Walang hiya! Paano nya nakayang gawin yun kay Maine! Insensitive! Hindi man lang nagpaalam kay Maine na aalis sya (gusto ng fans public lahat ng communication eh), tapos eto nagpa-picture pa kasama ang iba! Sabi ko na nga ba nilalaro lang nito si Maine eh! Kawawa naman si Maine, fake naman ni Alden!
I can’t count how many times I’ve read comments everywhere like, “How about introducing Kimpoy on KS? He likes Maine so much and he’s so sweet to her on Twitter! At least sya confident ipakita sa public ang feelings nya for Maine!”

Hannie, all I could comment on your piece is that we could now know who are the ones level-headed enough to be in interaction with in this forum / comments section. I am a bit disappointed seeing subjective comments on the show / main actor / actress.
I am overly addicted in checking the blog because of the intellectual take on the show and nearly coming away from it once I see outbursts of ‘only’ emotions in the comments section.
I would love to see how Mr Vilo dissect the episodes this week (simple nodge on the brainy guy!) 😉

Hirap na hirap na nga yung bata. I feel like I’m becoming a broken record whenever I say ‘let’s give A a break’. Taamaa Naa Yaaahn!!!

Hindi pa sapat yung twitter posts nya from the past 2 days? Baka tulog ng tulog yung tao when he has whatever free time he can get kasi…oh I don’t know, he’s been really sick for almost 2 weeks now and he’s showing signs of over fatigue even from pictures?!
Konting consideration naman para sa bata. Oo wala sya sa KS pero huwag naman natin sabihin na ZERO ang effort nya dahil wala sya sa EB ngayon. Todo kayod ang bata, so let’s not be too entitled as to demand that he gives us 100% every single day even when he himself is not feeling 100% healthy and well.
Ang nangyayari kasi masyadong tumataas ang expectations ng fans and nagiging too demanding na every day dapat may kilig. Na manligaw na si Alden. Na pumorma kay Maine sa twitter at ipangalandakan ang nararamdaman nya when he’s said over and over and over again that he’s not that type of person. He will never be the type of person people demand that he become.
When I become a fan of someone/something and I feel like I’m becoming too involved, I always ask myself, “Am I putting my own entertainment over an actual human being? Am I getting too intrusive and obsessive in wanting to know every detail of that person’s life?”
Ganyan din dati ako sa KPop. I was a fan up until last year. It was so cool to see such good-looking, talented people singing and dancing and entertaining you almost every single day. But I finally stepped back and let go when I realized that those young “idols” are sick and unhealthy, and I didn’t realize it because I was too focused on my own happiness and entertainment. They don’t get enough sleep and rest, they’re put on a strict diet because they have to be stick-thin, what free time they have is spent on practice x3, and their fans are downright terrifying in stalking those kids day and night. They can’t even reveal they’re in relationships because the fans’ reactions can make or break their careers. It’s that vicious. I’ve seen some of those kids about Maine and Alden’s ages fainting and getting injured from exhaustion, but the fans just say “Well, they signed up for that job!” or “It’s not that bad! He has a broken leg, sure, but he can still dance and show up tomorrow! I need my ____ fix!”
And now I’m seeing some of those trends within the Aldub fandom. The demands for Alden to always perform and show up. The demands that he step up his game and court Maine RIGHT NOW or else! The calls for him to be made jealous and possessive so we, not Maine, WE can finally expose his true feelings. It’s scaring me, the sense of entitlement that has started to take root within people’s thoughts and words.
Pero sabi nga ni Lola Nidora ngayon, “Kung ilang araw pa lang ayaw nyo na, eh huwag na kayong umasa sa forever!” Para sa mga fans din ang message na yan. Kung gusto ng bumitaw after only a short time na walang kilig, eh di siguro huwag na lang talagang sumubaybay at mag-expect. Lola Nidora’s messages have been on point lately lalo na since the fans’ negativity became too aggressive.
“Dapat maging independent kayo sa isa’t isa. May gagawin ka, may gagawin sya. Bigyan mo ng kalayaan na gawin nya ang dapat nyang gawin. Huwag masyadong possessive!”

the problem is…alden is getting his separate projects while maine is tied to the KS. Maybe if people see her outside of the KS (talking, doing shows,etc) then she would have a separate profile. But for now, the EB peeps are keeping her in this secret personality to keep the KS going and in doing so they have tied her to a LOVETEAM which in reality fans always expect to have a real relationship. Plus the fact that the KS environment, they started using their real names in their fansigns which to me crossed the line and made people assume there is something more to expect.

That’s the KS appeal kasi. As I’ve mentioned before, there’s a very very thin line separating reel & real emotions because this accidental LT started on genuine emotions being crush ni M si A and gradually evolved into a semi story with plots & twists. I believe so many people got hooked initially because of M. Her genuineness really showed on screen. Walang halong “pabebe”! Hahahaha! Plus their on screen chemistry with A was really something. Of all A’s LT, itong accidental one with a newbie dubsmasher ang nag click. Fans now think it’s serendipity because of so many similar coincidences between A & M. They are now demanding that A & M get together in real life din.

But the thing is, I don’t remember anyone ever announcing that Alden and Maine SHOULD end up together? Naturally, it’s our first instinct to see a brewing love team and expect it to become true love. But I wouldn’t exactly put that onus on Alden or Maine. They have both said on twitter before: Kalma lang. Gusto lang namin mapasaya kayo kaya hinay-hinay lang po.
What’s happening now is that fans are almost forcing Alden and Maine to publicize their thoughts and feeling for each other all the time. Minamadali lahat. People want Alden to become a different person, maging vocal, maging aggressive etc. Fans want to mold him into the ideal guy they see him as, not the person he is now.
When you start expecting people to be what they’re not, that’s when you start expecting perfection from them, and every time they can’t measure up to your perceived standards, then you see them as less and less worthy of admiration, respect, and loyalty even though, objectively and factually, they’re not doing anything wrong. The mind is a powerful thing, it can make us see things that weren’t there, or make us ignore things that were there but don’t fit our pre-conceived ideas of how things should be.

I signed up for an account here just to agree with what Hannie said. I liked how you laid out everything. If only those overly possessive and demanding fans (especially) on twitter can see this. Wala na talaga sa hulog yung ibang fans kaya I super appreciate din this blog because I can see that a lot of people here are very sensible and rational. I admit na kaya din ako nag-umpisang manood ng KS is because of M. I truly admire the girl because she really has talent, she’s smart and unpretentious. Lately ko na lang din na-appreciate si A and I can say that he is also a cut above the rest just like M.
Nakakalungkot lang that other fans are not handling their pagiging “fan” rationally and responsibly. They’re too overprotective of M that they don’t see A in the picture anymore. I have to give the guy credit kasi hindi nya nga sinasamantala yung pagkakataon na meron sya. Mas gusto ko na he’s taking his time kasi yun naman talaga dapat ang gawin nya, ang gawin nila ni M. Bakit ba kasi atat na atat yung iba? Ano ba kasing pinaglalaban nila? Minsan iniisip ko na nga na pag hindi nagkatuluyan yang dalawang yan, kasalanan pa ng mga fans na wala sa lugar. I swear, sila yung sisisihin ko kasi marunong pa sila sa may katawan.
I just hope and pray that A and M will be able to handle the pressure well at kung papalarin sana nga mauwi sa totohanan ito. Love A and M to bits! Ngayon na lang ulit ako nahook ng ganito sa love team after so many years. Yung last na kinalokohan ko was Bobby Andrews and Angelu De Leon pa. Hahaha!!!

Oh man, if only you know how many people here have laid out your thoughts and reiterated your sentiments in the past threads. It’s a real challenge to get it through a lot of people’s heads. What a let down. But I’m really happy that a lot of people are beginning to stick up for A, because people give him too much crap. I’ve been defending him here too (for God knows how long) but eventually got tired. Mahirap makipag-argue sa mga taong crystallized na ang paniniwala. I’ve only seen you here recently but your comments are spot on. Hoping to see more of yours in the future.

@Hannie and everyone — maybe its my age but when I read bizarre comments (alright, bashers) hitting on A I just shake my head, grimace and move on. It doesnt really affect me because well, it’s not my impression of how things are. Some comments I am moved to reply in defense of the KS team, mainly A, but only when I feel na teka sobra namang below the belt and bordering on mean and malicious ang take nung isa na yun! But otherwise, I shrug it off. It is fortunate that the profile and demographics of A’s and M’s fandom are so wide and diverse that I could consider all those demanding and entitled fans as minorities. Very vocal and virulent, yes, but there are a lot more silent level-headed ones who are slowly coming out, myself included.

Reading between the lines on the comments, I think some fans who got mad at A for not “telling” M he will be away for a few days, are not really mad about that. They are mad kasi THEY (the fans) did not know he will be out of KS for a few days, hindi nagpaalam sa INYO (via FS to M). M and the rest of EB staff know that A has prior commitments. The writers of KS already had a storyline prepared. Didn’t you think of that?

and there was an incident na that one of her closest friends posted a picture sa IG which mgkakasama cla with her friends.. but suddenly her friend deleted that picture andaming ksi ngcocomment na fans questioning na prang cla pa nung guy..
and mas lalo akong napapaisip ksi last wik or 2wiks ago may nagcomment sa tweet ng guy na dpat d nya pnakawalan si M, and he said “alam mu namn ng kwento e”, and sabi nung ngcomment na girl is move on and he said “im better na”
…so anggulo lang tlga, npapaisip tlga ako whats the real score bet them..but i’ll stick to what i feel that she and her ex bf are still with each other and maybe they are waiting for the right time..

Thank you for sharing this video. Like a few of us here, I pushed the brakes on my AlDub obsession mostly because I got impatient. I used to feel all good vibes and reminiscing being back home but then it got to the point that I got the same thing over and over again. There was no progression. Same recycled music, same urong-sulong. Same Lola Nidora yelling and being the Pambansang Hadlang.
Then I watched today’s KS and Maine’s acting chops. And Lola Nidora! Juice Colored! The waterworks came out. And I remembered why I loved KS and why I love all reminders of home.
I still maintain that our brilliant EB writers should stop flirting with our patience. Pulling our dynamic duo at the last minute just when they’re beginning to connect is torture.
But just like watching Game of Thrones, the Kalyeserye is like being in a toxic relationship. You swear it’s over as you get hurt over and over again, yet you still come back. Because you think it’s worth it.
I still think it’s worth it. So I’m back. Fantastic baby!

Grabe itong episode nato nakakaiyak talaga simula palang sa sermon ni lola nidora nakakaiyak na e, yung feeling na iiyak ka na pero natatawa ka dahil kina jose at paolo at TVJ and allan k, akala ko kay alden na yung flowers na dumating di pala e walang sinabi kanila lola ti at tini din pala galing yung mga flowers. Tapos nung nag iyakan na sila yaya dub at lola nidora grabe feel na feel ko yung drama ang galing ni Maine at lola nindora,tiningnan ko si allan kay feel na feel din ang drama hehe…

Citymall opened a couple of days ago and Anne Curtis just was there, too. They’re flying in celebrities for the opening festivities.
Everyone is a critic, including Vic Sotto. Of course he sees EB as more important because that’s his home.
Alden Richards is only a working actor (unlike Vic Sotto who is now extremely wealthy). The reality is, money plays a big factor when celebrities accept gigs. Alden is “hot” at the moment, he can command whatever talent fee he wants right now, even if it’s just for ribbon cutting…
I am happy he gets these opportunities to cash in his fame.

Ok think of it this way, YOU are M, and you see this guy working hard to achieve his dream/goals? turn off or turn on?? Kanino ka ma ffall? Someone na iresponsible at mayabang sa nakukuha niya ngayon? or sa isang tao na nag papakahirap para suportahan pamilya niya? Mind you, A is only 23 yrs old. Yung ibang 23yrs old nag sisimula palang matutuo sa mga chosen fields nila, may pa party party pa every week yan.
And of course, KITANG KITA NAMAN THIS WEEK na M understands A’s situation. Uulitin ko sanyo, halatang worried na worried naman si M diba? the FS? the plywood? the tweets. She cares about him, but ofcourse hindi niya pipigilan si A sa mga commitments niya sa trabaho. It’s a sign of support from M to A. There is a sign of maturity from the both of them. So please, let’s just support these two young artists… :3

As far as my imagination is concern.. diba kung totoo yung feelings ni A for M. Actually feeling ko Tatay Dub is not so strict because 1 sister is married already & the other one has a boyfriend. Baka mas strict pa si Lola Nidora. Sa totoo lang, noong lumabas ang “kababawan” subject sa Twitter, nainis ako kahit madalas naman bago ang aldub hindi ko pinapansin kung ano ang nangyayari sa lokal na showbiz. O, kahit pa mga hollywood controversies.
Kasi pakiramdam ko, eto nanaman ang mga ‘intelektwal’ na kung anu-ano nanaman ang nasasabi (note hindi lahat ng intellectuals ganito). Kasi sa buhay, meron narin tayong mga nakatagpo na mga taong ganito, or atleast ako, na mga nagpapaka-‘intellectual’. Pero puro panlabas lang ang tinitignan, para maitaas ang mga sarili nila. Hindi ko sinasabing ganito si ms. Lea, pero galing lang sa aking personal na karanasan.
Naapektuhan ako para sa aldub noon, kasi para sakin, mataas tingin ko sakanila at sa show. Nire-respeto ko ang pagka-simple nila. Mahirap piliin maging simple sa mundo nila na pinipili ang tisay, mamahalin, magarbo, atbp.
Meroon akong pinag-aralan. Internation School alumni ako pero nanood ako ng aldub kasi napapatawa talaga ako nito. Nakakapagbigay positive vibes talaga sa mga araw na puno ng mga ‘to-do lists’.
Nirerespeto ko si Christy Fermin sa sagot niya sa mga tanong sakanya. Kasi tamang-tama talaga.
Sa mga tanong na, ano naitutulong nito sa bayan?
Una, kanya-kanya tayo ng ginagampanan, hindi pwede lahat presidente ng pilipinas. May mga pinuno, guro, taga-linis, taga-alaga, taga-bilang, taga-maneho, taga-luto, tagapag-kanta, tagapag-patawa. Lahat tayo may ‘input’ sa mundong ginagalawan natin.
Sila, napapasaya nila tayo sa gitna ng mga araw-araw nating mga ginagampanan. Simple.
Hindi kailangan lahat ng bagay gawin komplikado.
Salamat, wala akong sama ng loob o kung anoman para kay Ms. Lea Salonga, napaka-ganda ng pagkanta niya ng Alladin OST sa ABC. Binibigay ko lang naman opinyon ko.

Maalden ko kayo – Haha. I see people get so emotionally invested in the show and in Maine, that when Yaya cries, they cry; she’s disappointed, they’re disappointed; she’s in love, they hate the guy for not loving her back; the weeksary becomes their very own weeksary… Everyone’s emotion hinges on what’s important to this girl. Maine is truly that appealing that people forget themselves. Take note, KS with just Yaya still get over a million tweets.
Unfortunately, we forget that ARTISTAS GET PAID TO MAKE US BELIEVE. (CAPS LOCK PARA INTENSE). They’re not as attached to the stories onscreen as we are. They have their own lives, interests, and agendas (make money).
Alden is very career-oriented and a very smart kid. He’s striking the iron while it’s hot. He’s hitting 2 malls in Zamboanga City, and he’s not doing it for peanuts. The pay for that single day is probably worth more than a couple of “weeksaries” from EB…

I agree with you. I was so hooked in this KS and lovestoryline but then reality is A is an actor. and he is very good even in his non KS actingan. he may have attraction to M but it will take some time. I don’t think he is in love. he’s probably just enjoyign the moment and if eventually he falls in love with this girl, he will be ok with it. but at the moment, i believe he is in the attraction phase.

EB and KS have brilliant writers who managed to get all of the fans wrapped up with the flow of the story and most especially the characters. Young kids thought that LOLA Nidora is really a lola in real life and not the actor Wally. Majority of the ALDUB fandom are wishing (and some even praying) that A and M will end up in real life. Some have so many “comments” to say against A , so many expectations and so many demands. While some are simply enjoying the story line and can differentiate between what is behind the camera and what is caught when the cameras are rolling. But at the end of it all, we all enjoy the roller coaster ride that KS is giving us. KS enlightens the viewers, revisits our old custom and most especially tickles our funny bones and making our hearts young.

100% agree! We do not control what they think, do or feel. Taganuod lang tayo. Personally, I think I am more weaned today than yesterday. Successful yata ang aking 12 step program. The reason I say so is when I read the pep.ph interview of A (saying that he is open to a relationship with M and added “malay mo in the future), the old me would have dissected that article word for word. Now I think – that’s nice. So sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

I would like to add. The reason for some fan’s frustration is that we concoct these storylines in our heads on what the next scenes should be and if they do not happen we get disappointed. Let the story unravel. who knows the writes have a better ending than we can imagine. I wish sometimes this was a real full blown teleserye where A and M play characters. But is is not.This being new, we don’t know the parameters. Even EB revel in the fact that reel and real are blurred. Nangangapa rin sila. Couple this with various agendas from Vic Sotto (MMFF film), A’s handlers (strike while the iron is hot) that we are confused on where reel ends and real starts. We also view the show from the prism of our own experiences. We see shades and colorings that may not be there. At some point earlier this week I accepted the error of my ways (to quote Vilo) and reflect. Why would I let a tv show affect how I sleep, think and feel. After acceptance, came the realization that for me to enjoy this show, I should treat it as that. It may not work for everyone but just something to ponder on.

Though A has a lot of commitments with GMA kaliwat kanan na mall shows at invitations from different part of the nation para naman daw makita ng personal si A Sa ibat ibang lugar…my Gosh sya lang ba talent ng GMA? Kawawa naman si A he was over used by the network samantalang dati naman hindi sya nabigyan ng ganyan mga mall shows and TVC but with help of KS he became a phenominal actor..sana pag pahingaan naman sya ng mga handler nya.. sinasamantala rin siguro ng network ang kabaitan nung bata kasi ngayon lang nakabawi ang GMA for competing to other network. Sana bigyan naman nila ng time mag ka lovelife na ang bata, ngayon nalalapit na ang tamang panahon tsaka naman nilalayo ng handler nya sa ALDUBholic. Alam natin masipag, mabait at may sinusuportan pamilya huwag. sanang abusuhin nag kakasakit na rin sa A sa over work walang pahinga.. .
Sabagay baka naman ang next chapter ng KS is to really detach muna si A, para ma miss ni M and fans maybe because alam na alam ni M na secure na nya ang feelings ni A. Sana sa 3rd monthsary nila A might reveal his true feelings towards M on the day kung saan i launch ang ”’wish i may. .” Tapos M will introduce also na hindi n yayadub kundi Maine m

I saw that, and I was in awe… Alden has over 4 years experience as a leading man in dramatic roles, and I used to wonder how his talent was going to work out with a newbie like Maine… After today’s episode, I realize it won’t take her that long to catch up to Alden. Just like it didn’t take her long to catch up to Jowapao… She’s got serious acting chops! She’s awesome!!!
I’m glad she got paired with Wally… He knows how to keep his focus (despite the 2 lovable crazy Ti’s) on serious acting and that kept Maine focused, too! Can’t wait for her to come out as Maine Mendoza in belly baring dresses and killer heels!

I swear, I even went closer to the screen to anticipate tears that could come out from M’s eyes (which at the time seemed kinda impossible to me since I am aware that she’s a newbie + no workshops)
Then BAAAAM, the tears came out from her eyes and I was literally freakin’ out out of happiness (ik very ironic) that she pulled that off!
I was just in awe really, talagang I was totally caught-off guard by that. Grabe ka, Meng! You never cease to surprise us. Haha!
Well, I’m hoping she kills it this Saturday! I’m excited. It’s M’s time to shine.

And, did you notice that immediately after the “freeze”, she instantly reverted back to her usual crazy dancing self like nothing happened?! She was totally unaffected by her “dramatic” scene. OMG, Maine can act! She can totally pull it off!!

And remember that hugot line ” kaibigan mo lang ako?”. A’s reaction is priceless and that of the audience. Simple mga banat ni Meng pero it’s always agaw eksena. That fiesta scene when during the mano she extended her hand to Alden in para-paraan moves and when she glared at the fan who yelled “I love you”. At times I wonder whose idea is the slow-mo and fast forward acts are? Ginagawa na ba ng EB iyon dati?

Oh, yeah, when she blurted out the “kaibigan mo lang ako” line, I burst out laughing… For me that was a tongue-in-cheek moment. Seems like Maine knows what everyone is already saying anyway, so might as well SAY it out loud 🙂 She is one very cheeky girl. In her ask.fm, she was asked about being flat-chested a few times and each time she gave a different answer…She’s sassy! LoL.
Yup, the fiesta scene with the mano, it’s like her saying “hey, me too.” Too bad the camera didn’t quite capture that moment. There’s a lot of missed moments like that. I don’t think they’re not quite prepared for Maine and what she can come up with ‘ATM’.
And when she glared at the fan for yelling “I love you”? Gold! You can hear Ruby encouraging her to glare some more. Ruby being a comedian herself saw the comedic timing Maine hit on immediately and encouraged it.
A lot of the comedy moments are probably thought of ahead of time and discussed by EB staff. Comedy is serious business, too. They work hard at being seamless. For them to be effective, it requires a lot of coordination and being on the same wavelength among the 4 of them.
But, Maine has this aura about her that just encourages people to loosen up, so a lot of improv and on the spot comedy happens with her and around her, and everyone can feel it’s natural. Even Alden has loosened up since meeting her. I find him gwapo and macho now that he’s no longer so self-conscious in his movements. Maine is very secure in herself, she’s very comfortable in her own skin (for someone so young!). I feel that she made him the feel the same way, too, about himself? She’s good for him.

Another thing, I like her unconventional ways. That disguise in the concert a lot of people say she is so assuming bec established celebrities don’t do that. However there are sensible reasons she has to do that. Safety and she is not a famewhore. But more than that I find her eccentricities amusing and refreshing. She tried to blend in the crowd feelingera daw. Next time she goes to a concert I hope she wears something outrageous like Ms. Prieto at kapag pinagkaguluhan siya then than in itself is a point made why she has to go to a public event incognito. At last there is someone among them actresses that is not cut in the same mold. Lahat halos makita ko they are going for the KPop look like they are all manufactured from one factory and no matter how talented they are bec it’s the same act over and over again they are boring.

You’re absolutely right, Cate. She’s eccentric and people don’t unsderstand it. And yet they’re drawn to her and what she does because she’s a true artist. Everyone hate what they don’t understand. We rationalize something we don’t understand by boxing them into something small just so our puny minds can see something, anything. Today’s episode has Lola Nidora giving credit to Maine for giving them the idea to dress in disguise… Either she dressed that way last night to pitch her ideas to the producers, or dressing that way at the concert INSPIRED the writers to write that. Either way it’s ingenious. And again, intentionally or unintentionally, she’s brilliant.
And, even though concert goers eventually recognize her through that disguise, for a brief time, she got to enjoy the concert IN WITH THE CROWD without creating chaos. If she had come as herself, she’d either have been placed on the side stage to watch the concert and be with the band, or cordoned off in the front of the crowd away from everyone. She obviously didn’t want the fuss especially since the band already expressed their desire to meet her and she knew people would be on the lookout for her (n they were). Anyway, she succeeded with what she did.
Everyone is Fascinated with Maine Mendoza. She knows this even if she doesn’t understand why. She’s also very aware of how it affects people around her, so she’s protective and considerate of that

Hi – this thread really did offer great insights into this phenomenon. So let me offer mine. Read: Sparks, literally. We feel this around us when we are emotionally charged – i.e. nervous, focused on something, love. The physical reaction we feel during these moments are cited as “electrical pulses”. Yes, we emit an electrical charge during these moments. 🙂
Incident #1, Mansion Date:
The first time Alden was pushed by Lola Tinidora when they sat on the sofa. Alden and Maine’s elbows/skins touched – both of them were stunned and seemed to be worried about something and both looked at their director quizzically.
Incident #2, Mansion Date:
When they were dubsmashing on the sofa, Maine’s and Alden’s fingertips almost touched (or may have touched but we did not see this on the screen). Both of them pulled back and had the same inquiring look in their faces as incident #1.
Incident #3, Mansion Date:
Knife incident. The first time they tried to pick up the knife. Their hands touched and they quickly pulled back – quicker than your usual response if it were a deliberate action (acting part).
Incident #4, Broadway Get Together:
After the “family” photo op, Alden was returning the gold O+ phone to Maine. His fingers touched Maine’s index finger. Then she reacted by touching that finger and said “Ano yun? (What’s that?)” then almost kissed that finger as if wounded.
Personal interpretation: they have that spark literally flying all over whenever their together. To what that means, up to you guys. 😉

Please note that the opinion I offered are not conjectures but borne out of habit of reading people since this is my profession (I am psychologist). I am merely giving an unbiased input into the idea that there really are unscripted moments in the KS.
Now as to what it all means, that’s up for conjecture. But there is indeed an undeniable connection between our two loves. With their random unguarded moments, these guys have been feeling that too and either attempt to hide or use it to make their series more powerful for their viewers.
On one interview with Alden, he mentioned that he was a bit confused why the kilig goes back to him whenever he sees Miane’s reactions whenever he makes her kilig. On this recent interview, he may have seemed to be accepting this connection between the two of them. But, emphasis on the but, he is still at a loss on what his thoughts or feelings should be for the princess.
Being another fan, I am into the KS as a means to while the time away and am more of an observer . Intrigued observer, one might say. Siguro, for now, let’s enjoy the great show and kilig moments the KS show will give us, regardless if our beloved actors would be together in reel or real.

Blindfold scene A pulled back when M touched his chest. At times natatakot ako baka ano pang reaction mahagip ng camera kay A that is not appropriate each time he’ll see and get close with M. Anticipation and imagination builds excitement. *wink

WOW! Finally someone (and a psychologist at that!) noticed the “sparks”. I caught that “elbow bump” moment right awayduring the Akyat-Ligaw EP and noticed how both A & M’s eyes grew big, as if getting “electric shocks”. I also notice how “gigil” they are towards each other whenever they’re face to face. It all seems so natural to them.
We’ve all heard about the very detailed “Serendipity” and “Destiny” stories. I think when two souls destined for each other finally meet and touch, something really magical happens. Then add to that the physical manifestations. Notice how Maine have been sickly right after the 2nd monthsary? I think that’s the most confusing, painful time for M, you can see how she was so withdrawn and frail. But after the 2nd date, she seems to be blooming again! Now for Alden, we know that he’s exhausted lately, but could it be more because he’s been missing M?
These two souls. I believe, are really MFEO!
But wherever this partnership leads, let’s just continue supporting and praying for them.

Agree po sa inyo. This has been my first outburst on this phenomenon for fear that I get crucified by peeps. Glad that you saw things I saw.
Here’s another run of observations on the recent events:
At the start of this series, being a woman, I was afraid of M falling for A because it was very one-sided – sabi crush niya, right? A may just be playing along, he is intrigued but not yet vested. Notice that after the first Saturday of seeing M, he seemed more open with their exchanges from his lungga yet guarded when asked by other’s when in front of the audience. The next Saturday was something crazy for both of them because they were really caught off guard – dumbstruck I might say (M’s missed DS and then A barely maintaining composure while they were lookig at each other eye to eye). That is one heck of a big reveal for them.
Now the studio date, notice M’s rather professional and aktingan composure. A is more excited to see her then . On the mansion date, things get haywire. M was pretty much in acting mode from the start, until she gave the letter/card. She was aware of A but she was more aware of the director’s cues (notice how Pao and Jose keep coaching her). On the groupfie with the Lolas, she was very tense but very guarded.
As for A, on the mansion scene, notice how he giggles uncontrollably, is all hunched, and acts awkwardly with his limbs akimbo or tucked in front of him. In contrast with his always composed demeanor, his postured pogi stance, his calculated expressions, the grown man in him became a child at happy at play… until the scripted parts of the day – dining together, knife incident and saying goodbye when the two lolas approached. I saw less of him in his power stance on this epi. I saw a fidgetty boy, not a grown man with calculated actions.
In contrast, on the studio epi, both are very much composed once more – prolly bec they are in public and my guess is the entire scene is indeed very much scripted from start to finish. Except for the first part where they said hi and the lingering handshake. This epi did not really sit will with the fangirl in me but made me think of what is already happenig off-cam with our loves.
But take notes, these kilig gems are the ones that make us hooked into this phenomenon. Every kilig replay I do in objectively looking these events (and to relive the feeling hehe) can’t diminish the kilig and smile they elicit from me. They are genuine treasures that can get anyone hooked and sadly, expecting more in real.

This person claims to be close to Alden and is attesting /confirming some of the speculations/interpretations posted on this blog discussion thread. Una na, yes daw, tinanong nga ni A si M kung may bf daw sya. (Uy!)
And, as I have noted, it was indeed RFJ who was on the mansion with M that day. Akala daw nya hopia yung epi – hindi daw sya nakapaghanda and he really was super tensed. Takeaway for A? He was ashamed of not bringing anything for M, and just leaving her his pawisang panyo. (Napakaobjective na matapos mayanig ang buong mundo sa 26M na tweets e yung pawisang panyo ang inalala. Typical male!)

Yes, thats true. I was among the first few who followed him and he placed a deadline until when he/she’d ( @Aldenophile doesnt want to reveal his/her gender) be on twitter, i think only until Alden comes back from Japan. It was really a blow by blow account on what transpired at the mansion. I think you guys should follow him before he/she deactivates the account and back read all the tweets.

Oh my uterus, this video is making me fall in love with Alden over and over again!! Tammaa na yaaan…! LOL I’ve watched videos of him with his previous love teams -Julie Ann and Louise. He is so good at being romantic with them, quite realistic, too, it me made me want to kick him…
But, what’s soooo different about him being with Maine Mendoza is the UNGUARDED expressions on his face whenever he sees her on screen, or is near her… The boy just can’t help himself. I love the part where he kisses the screen when she’s not looking…. Ahhhh!!

There is a certain sparkle, very iridescent and magical- I know this is farfetched – but maihahaliintulad ko yung tingin nya to a how a groom looks at his bride, the way a Jason Magbanua Wedding SDE would showcase this moment. It’s so refreshing and breathtaking.

Oh, please it’s not far fetch at all… He looks at her like he ADORES her. There’s just something so PURE about the way he looks at Maine… He kinda looks like he GLOWS from within, whenever he sees her, or is near her. Oh geez, here I go again. I already enjoy KS even without the kilig, and also the sugod bahay vids (pre-AlDub days). Now I’m back. There’s just something about this two crazy kids that makes me think that there SHOULD be something More….
Someone needs to do the whole world a favor and lock these two up in a utility closet for a couple of hours. They will have no choice but to face each other, accept the fact they have Real chemistry together, and none of us will have to put up with their “denial, denial” shit anymore. We need to get this over with…

Not just any kiss… It’s a “screen kiss” ..where the whole point is to build up tension between the two of them (slow motion si Alden n naka close up pa yung camera)… The world will stop, everyone will be starting at their screen… After that, I think Filipinos will demolish Twitter completely.

Everyone is already reading their lips anyway and listening to background audio and making up their own shit. Anyways, I want this BESO (well, technically this “screen kiss” is a beso because it’s on the side of the mouth, which is technically the..cheek) to happen this coming 3rd Monthsary!!
So, this is how it’s going play out.. (Alden cannot be unsure and sweaty and shit, like he was before, because he’s got to bring his game on for this, he’s got to lead her!).
No embracing allowed, but Alden can hold her hands….
Alden walks up to Maine and stands very close to her, almost touching but not quite… She’s going to be very skittish because she’s always skittish when next to him… But, Alden is not gonna move, he will stand very still, be very serious, focused on her, until she calms down and stops fidgeting…Alden won’t do anything, he’ll just let Maine get used to the warmth of his presence next to her.
Once she’s calm, he moves closer again until his head is almost right above hers, and he can smell her hair… and she can almost smell his scent through his shirt. .. And then gently, very gently, he’ll take her hands very lightly onto his (no grabbing like the handshake). He’s just lightly hold her fingers in his… She will laugh and fidget again, but he’ll wait until she calms down and gets used to the touch of his skin….
Tapos, titigan mo lang sya, Alden!! She won’t look up at you, but you’ll wait until she does. Because despite the cameras and the audience, there’s only 2 of you in this world… Then when she finally looks up at you, make sure you don’t let her look away! Look at her in a way that she just cannot look away from you… And, then slowly and very gently lean in for the kiss on the.. “cheek”.. linger a bit, smell her skin… Then slowly lean back, look her in the eyes with a gentle smile on your lips…
And then the Dessert Song comes on…. chuba chibibuba chu chub!!!

Of course it does!! Lola Nidora likes to give the two love birds a “gift” if samunurin sila, dba??? Theme ng AlDub with Lola na yan. O, d ba si Yaya practice ng practice for this Sabado, plus all she’s going through about Isadora, possibly leaving the lolas, n missing Alden… awww kawawa naman napakabait ni Yaya. Plus, si Alden super sipag, nasa abroad nagtatrabaho para sa kinabukasan nila…
And don’t forget in the past during ATM with the Baes, Alden wished for Maine to say his name n not just Lola (he got it), he said the best date for him would be to visit Yaya at the mansyon (wished came true), and last, he asked permission for a Beso (FS)… and that one hasn’t come true yet!
It’s in the “aral”, it shows kung matiyaga, masunurin at masipag ka, darating din ang tamang panahon, at eto na ang panahon para sa ISANG BESO!
Alden has been a leading man/heartthrob for the past couple of years, and I’ve seen his moves on vids (w/ Marian, Julie, Louise) and he is Very effective. Well, now I want to see him make those same leading man moves on Maine Mendoza!! She, more than any of those girls, deserves it.
But, of course, it’s not gonna happen !!!! I just so badly want it to happen…😪 EB has been so kuripot n lazy with their AlDub storyline lately.. Their love story hasn’t been in sync with what was previously promised (n in hashtags pa) and with who is present n who is not 😐
Well, at least the main KS story is still hilariously entertaining 😀

Liked your comments jnnchn. The way he looks at M really shows so much adoration. If those looks were only for acting, my Geez! And everytime they see each other face to face, I don’t know if it’s just me but that strong chemistry (tagos sa screen), the reactions. You can see how much they want to be next to each other or even hold each other (in fact more of A than M). I sometimes hope that when they are given the chance to embrace, sana before they meet sa shooting ng movie nila, not even a kiss, just a hug. As I feel na A is holding all those nerves and or maybe the urge to touch the person who brought him all this success and even na rin this roller coaster of emotion he’s been feeling. I want to see it raw on TV, kasi I think he’ll crumble into pieces at maybe umiyak ulit. It will be like a release. Haaayyy!!! Itong mga batang to nakakasira ng isip. Reality mode back on.

I decided to leave my comment here rather than in twitter or fb para nde ako ma-bash. hehehe! I have been observing M & A in KS. I have noticed that there were days when M is so distant. M is very transparent. Her emotions are real. Maybe that’s the reason we are obsessed with her. A on the other hand is an actor. I guess he already mastered how to make a woman kilig. But in fairness to A, I really noticed some changes in him, too. There are times na feeling ko super na fall na sya kay M, and then he’d pullback again. Parang he really doesn’t know kung ano ba talaga ang gusto nya. Maybe because he is so engrossed to his new found success, kaya nde muna nya priority ang love life? Or may bad experience sya before na ayaw muna nya ma-in love? Or hindi nya gusto si M? Then I suggest wag na lang sya magpaasa. Don’t tweet anything sweet and make people believe na para kay M yung tweet nya. Anyway, for the past couple of days, M is showing that she has what it takes to be a star, and she is living up to the hype! M can survive without a love team. I must say na talagang nakatulong sa kanila ni A yung love team nila. But I don’t want to see either one of them na gawing totohanan ang lahat kung nde nmn tlga yon ang gusto. Sabi nga ni lola, kung hindi tutoo ang nararamdaman e di maglaro na lang ng tumbang preso! Dahil sila lang ang matatalo kung paglalaruan nila ang damdamin nila. If A’s feelings for M is genuine and they end up together, he will be the luckiest man because M will shower him with so much love and affection. Ngayon pa nga lang kung sabihan sya ng “Pahinga ka ha”, “Ingat ka” ganon na lang…e di mas lalo pa kung totohanan. M is from a very good family. She grew up in a very loving family. Her moral values are intact. Any man will be lucky to have her. Meanwhile, M should learn how to guard her heart. Actingan na lang kung actingan. KALYESERYE is a fictional, romantic comedy skit between the love story of YAYA DUB & ALDEN..Because of the perfect chemistry of these two kaya tinanggap sila ng general public, Thus ALDUB was created and became phenomenal… yes actingan lang ang KS.. but who started reel acting to real? not me.. not you… not the viewing public..It was Alden! It started during the August 19 episode.. On that day Alden wrote on his FS “ALDEN LOVES MAINE”..take note it was Maine and not Yaya Dub..Was it intentional on Alden’s part of scripted lang yun? Then it happened again on August 27.. It was Yaya Dub’s turn on her FS: “NAMISS KITA — Maine…It was during this episode that Wally(Lola Nidora) asked Alden 2x: ALDEN SERYOSO KA BA TALAGA… KAY MAINE? then Lola Nidora commented “Aktingan lang ito Uy! Siniseryoso nyo na eh!” Was it really aktingan lang or talagang totohanan na that time.. Then nasundan pa yun ng ilang beses, gang sa MENG AT TISOY NA ANG TAWAGAN.. was it still part of the script or for real na.. kasi if scripted lang they should not using their real names and should stick to their characters dahil pinaasa nila ang public.. look what’s happening now, lahat ng galaw nila pilit nating inaanalyze, in tweeter, FB and IG..lumabas yung pagiging SOCO ng iba.. imagine pati yung mahinang voices dun sa video (Oct.3) na-encyrpt nyo pa..ang lupet nyo uy, dinaig nyo pa si Sir Mike Enriquez..lol…can we blame the public if they expect more from Alden(assuming na di scripted yung ginawa nya nung Aug.19 and so on).. sya ang nagstart na lumabas sa character eh..lahat ng galaw nya tuloy binabantayan ng public, more often naba-bash pa.. siguro kung hindi nila ginamit yung tunay n mga names nila, baka walang SOCO, pero yung KILIG andun pa rin.. kaya nga nabuo ang ALDUB eh at di MAIDEN..(Sir Vilo pasensya na ha)

But to be fair, if they had never used real names (for the sake of kilig) to eachother, I doubt that we would even be here. It could’ve went differently, but probably not this big. The 50/50 approach that KalyeSerye shows us is what them so unique.

In that episode where M sang “cry”, nung kinanta ni A yung in your eyes, there was a part na pinisil nya kunwari yung cheeks ni M, he calls her “baby”, then pinipigil ni A yung iyak nya till tinawag cia ni Lola Nidora about her beso request, you can still see him, controlling his emotions, hbang nagsasalita si lola Nidora, yung pinipigil nya umiyak, pki balikan po u episode na yun. One thing more u dubsmash nya for 12th anniversary, paiyak na cia till sa last line, di ko alam kung hanngang dun lng u song or A choses to end it for he was about to cry.

There is an episode where M’s FS is ‘Bangin ka ba kasi?’. And A askes ‘Bakit?’ to which M replied ‘Alam mo na yun’. But there is a song that goes “Bangin ka ba kasi, Nahuhulog na ako sa iyo”. Hence their inside whatevs “Alam na nila yun”. Better hunt that 24 oras video for my kilig fix.

So okay, about this Isadora storyline. Maybe I’m missing something but why are the lolas withholding visitation or parental rights to Isadora? I didn’t glean any ominous vibes from Isadora’s letter; if anything it oozes with maternal love, like a mother longing to reconnect with her child. And even if there was a conflict between Isadora and the lolas in the past, wouldn’t it be more prudent NOT to put Yaya in the position of taking sides?
Maybe this subplot will unravel in the next few days and shed light on this Isadora issue (i.e. still wondering when the “secret diary” will resurface). But given that Lola Nidora has always tended to impart moral lessons, in my opinion, it would be in Yaya’s best interest that they put their differences aside and resolve their issues, whatever they may be. Lola Tinidora said it herself, Isadora is THE mother and has the right to custody. I don’t get why they have to act all surreptitious about it. Thoughts?

Perfect? That would be a tall order. But for a show whose characters have received recognition for “spreading virtue, values and morality”, EB could’ve just as easily opted to offer a more valuable dimension to this storyline – one that accentuates a harmonious relationship among family members, not one of selfish interest (ie. lolas keeping Yaya to themselves).

Well I guess Lola Nidora is becoming a walking contradiction. She advices Yaya not to be too possessive yet that is exactly the way she’s behaving. KS writers need to rethink Nidora’s character development at the risk of her sounding more and more like a hypocrite.

I didn’t take the plot of yesterday’s episode too seriously because I thought it was a cheeky way of making fun of Maine’s decision to go on disguise for the Lifehouse concert. But you are correct. It does make Lola N’s character very hypocritical. I hope the writers will address this in time… I also would like for them to tie up the loose ends like the secret diary subplot.

Yeah, I hope they do. I know KS is a tongue-in-cheek show and normally I would just appreciate it for what it is. I mean, some people on their high horse even call it “kababawan”. But you may have heard that Wally as Lola Nidora is one of the awardees for the SocMa award (in recognition of giving inspiring messages on good deeds, virtues, etc.), and to me, accepting that award means acknowledging that you have moral obligations to your viewers. KS has done a great job so far in conveying positive messages, but I think Lola Nidora really needs to toe the line here.

There is one thing they keep doing that bothers me also: the slapstick bits (eg. lolas hitting the rogelio’s or the quando’s). I know it’s a TVJ tradition but I hope they stop it. It might send the wrong message to kids that it’s acceptable to hit their drivers for laughs.

Ugh I know. Most of the time I’m cracking up at their jokes but there are times when I’m just like “Okay, was that really necessary?”. Joey and Jose in particular can be rather crass. Comedy show or not, poking fun of people is so completely asinine. I feel bad for the Quandos whenever Tinidora smacks them around or cracks jokes at their expense. Some people may laugh it off but to me it’s so insensitive and tasteless.

I soo agree with you about Joey and Jose. I can get on board with Jose’s little wisecracks like his beef with that tall Chinese-looking quando (after that Gilas loss) but the slapstick comedy is a tradition that would be best left in the past! I can only imagine how parents can explain how “rambutan” is funny if their little kids esp. girls would ask them that.

Yes, it’s hypocrite if you don’t practice what you preach, but I don’t think she’s possessive after all she’s willing to share Yaya’s love to A. I think she’s just scared to lose Yaya to Isadora but she needs to face those issues with Isadora even though she is afraid.

I disagree. I think everything that Lola Nidora has done up to this point has been her way of protecting Yaya Dub.
I’ve seen people on some websites saying Isadora has every right to take Divina away because she gave birth to Divina. Nope. It doesn’t work that way. Giving birth doesn’t automatically make you a mother It doesn’t. It just means you have the biological ability to reproduce, but it doesn’t make you a mother.
From here on out, it’s 90% conjecture on my part:
According to the script, Isadora left Divina to the triplets out of the blue. If what we were told from the Lolas’ perspective is true, then Isadora just up and left and they didn’t hear from her again. Tinidora cared for Divina for a couple of years, and then Nidora came back and took up the reigns. Maybe Nidora is thinking that Isadora is unreliable, that she’s only around when things are going great. Yes, they’re family, but that doesn’t mean Nidora doesn’t resent Isadora for what she’s done.
Nidora is always mocked for not having married or not having as many suitors as the other two Lolas. Clearly, from almost 80 days of KS jokes and skits, Nidora’s character was the one downtrodden and stepped on from a very young age. If Divina was left to her care for almost 20 years, maybe she gave up a huge part of her life to look after her niece? That while Tidora and Tinidora lived their own lives, and Isadora was doing the same wherever she was, Nidora was giving her all to make sure Divina grew up well? That she’s made a lot of sacrifices for her niece? Who knows, maybe it was something she didn’t want to do but did anyway out of love for her family?
If you listen carefully to the contents of the letter, Isadora wrote that she was ready to take back the time that she lost and spend it with her daughter. Oh, really? That’s all it takes? For me, Isadora’s letter was too demanding and entitled, almost like, “Oh, hey, you took care of that child I call my daughter for 20 years but now I’m back, I’m ready to play mother.”
Lola Nidora is probably just scared Divina will be disappointed. Or that Divina will be abandoned again. Frankly, we don’t even know 1/8th of the story to say Lola Nidora is being a hypocrite when it comes to Divina. Technically, Divina is her daughter. She raised Divina, she cared for her, she made sure she was safe, she met all of Divina’s needs to grow up healthy and well. That makes her more of a parent than Isadora could be at this point. So by all means, she should hang on to Divina as much as she can.
I’d be more disappointed if Nidora treated this issue like it was nothing and just allowed Isadora to show up and take Divina away. That would mean Nidora thinks DIvina is a burden and she’s happy to be rid of her now that someone has volunteered to step into her (Nidora) shoes. Divina is not someone to be “shared”. It’s not hypocrisy to keep Isadora at arm’s length. They have not seen her in over 20 years. Anyone would be suspicious of a person who didn’t reach out to you for 2 decades but suddenly shows up as if she didn’t miss out on a gazillion things.

What’s wrong is that there is a overt plan to keep Divina away from her mom. It would be more sensible for Nidora to just allow Isadora to see her daughter and let Divina decide how to proceed with their relationship and not be so controlling (or possessive of the girl as how @wanderlust described it). She is an adult after all.
As for the “taking away” part, it doesn’t have to happen if Divina doesn’t want to go with her biological mom. If Isadora asserts her right and forces Divina to go with her against her will then hiding Yaya would be justified. But so far none of that has happened so the disguise and paranoid actions are coming off as irrational.

This is where most people get it wrong – it’s NOT the parents’ and grandparents’ right over the child but the CHILD’s right to have access to the love and care of parents and grandparents, biological or otherwise.
We can all agree that Lola Nidora assumed the role of a parent when Isadora up and left. Good for her. But does it give her the right to deprive Divina of her fundamental rights to get to know her own mother? Does it make it okay for her to undermine a mother’s desire to see her own daughter?
As @madolldoll pointed out, Divina is an adult. It should be Divina’s decision if she wants to have a relationship with Isadora. If she chooses to stay with the lolas, great. If she chooses to go with Isadora, so be it. Ideally, I would rather she choose to have them all in her life. But either way – she should be given that choice. It is her right. Why begrudge her of that.

It is the right of every children to have access to the love and care of their mother, absolutely. So, why did the mother herself deprive her very own child of that basic right, for the last 20 years? I’m sure it is fair that a mother can exercise her right, to claim or abandon her child, anytime at a drop of a hat. She is the mother after all, and therefore have every right to do what she wants with her own child. I wonder, did the mother ever bother to find out if her child wanted to see her, in tthe last 20 yrs apart, and did she respect her child’s right to do so? Where was the child’s right, in hierarchy of importance, in the “mother’s” consciousness? The topmost importance, or the very bottom? Or only rose to the top recently, and if so, why? Did the mother abandon her child for selfish reasons (she had to take care of herself first), or because of circumstances beyond her control? (Amnesia) All these things will be revealed to us in the story, I am sure. 😃
My suggestion, in order to enjoy the show without hating Lola explorers so much, is not to conclude that they are depriving Divina of the love of a mother… Rather think of their initial reactions as that of them thinking that they are PROTECTING Divina from possible pain, and people with bad intentions. Just like Lola prevented Divinia from seeing and being with living, breathing Ken doll, Alden… She put Alden through so much shit to prove that his romantic intention to their grandchild is Noble. Text text Lang, luv na? Uuy. NOOO. If I remember the plots correctly, what she did was cruel: forced marriage, hostage taking, kidnapping, beating him up, locking up Yaya… and yet in the end, every single one of us saw Lola’s intentions as Noble and lauded her for it..(the Catholic Church even gave her an award for it. LMAO – still can’t get over that). . I am sure in due time, Isadora will also get to prove that her intentions to the child she abandoned are noble, too. But, trust in Lola Nidora to put her through hell first to prove that 😊 It is in her nature, and in the official synopsis of the serye- she is, after all, the “Evil” grandmother.
I think what Lola is trying to say is that True Love does not come easy – be it romantic, or parental. You have to prove it’s worth.
Also, when Yaya Dub read the letter from her mom, and balled her eyes out, and didn’t let go of Lola throughout the episode… didn’t that already say (in Yaya usual “not so many words”), that she choses Lola over her mother, if it means not seeing Lola again? And are the Lolas influencing and manipulating Yaya’s fear and worry to their advantage??? Oh, Yeah, Absolutely!!! But, don’t give up yet.. Stay tune for more pa!!!

Lola Nidora has raised Yaya Dub since she was an infant. Yaya Dub has known no other mother but Lola Nidora. And it seems Lola Nidora has devoted her life to making sure that Yaya Dub will only have the best, just like any parent would. The fact that someone is just going to show up and take away your “child” of the last 20 years unimaginably painful.
The three sisters have remained in contact and supportive of each other over the years… But, their 4th sister, Isadora, disappeared for 20 years without a word. From past experience, the Lolas are afraid (n rightfully so) that Isadora will do the same again after showing up briefly, but, this time taking Yaya with her.
The lolas cannot imagine the pain of losing Yaya, of never seeing her again.
From my own personal opinion and experience, Blood does not make you a parent. The one who raises and loves and devoted their life to the child is The Parent.

Hi wanderlust, my apologies for my outburst. I forgot that KS for all its’ “kababawan” has points and plots that hit nerves. I’m a recent fan. I binged watch for 3 days straight and finished on the episode of Duhrizz releasing lovebirds Maine n Alden. I’ve been hooked ever since. Now I’m watching KS the same time with the rest of the world…
Since I binged watch the entire series, I never went through the cliff hanger moments like the rest of the world did. I got over them all immediately because I had access to the next episode so I never had the chance to ponder. I never hated Lola Nidora for her being “malupit”, and that plywood thing…I read that even Maine’s dad cried about that plywood; that the net was full of hate post for Wally; and even a little girl became famous for crying and saying she’s gonna call the police on Lola.. Lola eventually redeemed herself as we all know. And the world forgave Wally.
I think for this new plot twist of mother separated from her child and relatives holding her back, they’re going to do the same thing, too. People are going to be “affected much”, people are going to be divisive… I forget that this is all just a Ploy to keep the show relevant. So, again my apologies for the self-righteous outburst.
On another note, I have a suspicion they have to weaned the public away from Alden, for truly making us all believe he is in-love. Now the backlash is getting stronger that Alden is not man enough to pursue it for real. The poor guy’s image has to protected.

this whole “kababawan” thing is really just a matter of perspective. other people’s definition of mababaw will be different from mine. to each his own. and i think it’s one of the things that’s so great about this KS phenomenon. we would all watch the same episodes but have such different viewpoints on what we saw. we argue every issue, debate every concept, we speculate, dissect every word, and share individual perspectives in one form or another. and though we may not always agree on everything, some respect and understanding is always due. so thank you. i love reading your comments too. pls keep them coming 🙂

Hi wanderlust ❤️ I have been accused of being elitist all my life (I am). I take “kababawan” to mean that it doesn’t take much to make me happy n KS proves it doesn’t!!. So, I’m proud of it. I became a KS fan because this elderly Filipina I always bumped into kept asking if I’ve watched AlDub, saying it only takes 20 mins ( I didn’t have the heart to tell her I know nothing n have no interest in filipino showbiz). Her question was like a pastor asking me if I have accepted Jesus as my lord n savior (which means if I hesitate before answering “yes”, I must be lying, but if I answer “yes” too quickly, I don’t really know what I’m talking about…?) So, to appease her, I watched it on YouTube n the rest is history! 😀
I have been foolishly incensed about comments like its a personal thing, add to the fact that I asked my man for a “screen kiss” yesterday to test the kilig factor theory, all of which has him now completely convinced that I have lost my mind. (Yup, in the most wonderful way!)
He only knows of KS/AlDub in the way I’ve described it, “Honey, imagine the 3 stooges dressed as grandmas and responsible for this beautiful ward who is love with this gorgeous boy.. It’s street comedy ” 😊 Based on that, he has no clue why that has me “affected pa more” !! It’s crazy as this is not the classics, so I have remember to keep my initial light-hearted attitude watching and reading about it.

As to Yaya Dub “taking sides”.. Think of it in the perspective of the child. Home is where the heart is, and the only home she’s known is that of Lola Nidora. Suddenly someone is going to come and take it all away from her… Of course, Yaya doesn’t want that, so she’ll side with the love she’s known all her life. The law is the law, I agree. But the law does not take into account human emotions and our tendency to become attached (come one, we are all here attached to a show, and this isn’t even a child we raised). Isadora has decided to exercise her right to claim her child. Good for her! But, it would be unrealistic (especially for THIS show)to expect a harmonious reaction from the Lolas. The Lolas are not known for using their heads over their hearts, they bend and twist the rules and laws for the good of their family. It is more realistic, and within the line of the “arals” of the show, for them to stick and fight for the ones they love, even if the law says they have no right to it.
When I read that the Phil Catholic Church was giving the KS gang an award for imparting good morals and values… My brain imploded. This would never happen in America (or anywhere else for that matter). First and foremost, this is a show whose main characters are 3 grown ass men in Drag… Men in Drag.. Nope. Minds closed, case closed. So, I’m glad to see that the Philipiines, even the Catholic Church there, is not like that. We look at the essence and the beauty in everything.
This OFWs love KS because it touches the lives in ways they have forgotten, bringing them back to their roots and thought to be forgotten memories. Sadly, OFW is The #1 export of the Philippines. This means a huge majority of Filipinos leave behind their children in the care of relatives in the Philippines… KS producers and writers are brilliant because they knows this and are capitalizing on it with this story line. The show continually plays to the hearts of the Filipino all over the world, and this story is now playing to the OFWs and the family members who care for their children in the Philippines. The unfolding story of the custody of Yaya is very relatable to the mass majority of the Filipinos watching this show. It is not trivial, KS is just playing like it is.
I wouldn’t just too harshly on people taking the sides or the Lolas, or those taking the side of the right of the mother, Isadora. Hearts are at play and one can dictate the heart. I can only offer compassion for the pain this type of separation will cause

I reread this thread and I was amused at how seriously I’ve defended our stance on this. Hahaha. But it’s a good reminder to the creators and characters of the show to be mindful of their actions moving forward (especially now that they are accepting the moral responsibility of imparting Filipino values and traditions to their audiences). Even the hosts should also be mindful that their audience includes impressionable kids.
As for the story, it would be nice to see Lola Nidora apologize (at some point) for her stifling over-protectiveness of Yaya and finally letting her have a “voice” in all this. In some ways, fans are acting like the possessive Lola Nidora to M & A – imposing their views on how these two will chart their careers and personal lives – forgetting that they are full grown adults who are accountable for their own actions. It’s one thing to live vicariously through these kids but it’s quite another to project one’s own hopes and dreams onto them to the point of wanting to control their actions. It’s a two-pronged lesson that may resonate with the audience.

Oonga e parang mas free and hindi courious si M. laughing out loud talaga ang episode ngayon lalo na si gusgusin abelgas (Jose) and yung pag didisguise nila lahat nakakatawa sobra. Actualy hindi ako masyado fan ng kilig e mas fan ako ng comdey talaga. Its not because im single hahaha…

Ngayon lang ako napa-comment sa tagal ko nang nagbabasa ng blog mo S’Vilo.
I’m more of M fan but as guy I know what A feels. Ayaw lang nya masaktan at makasakit. We all know na may CRUSH (capslock para ma emphasis) si M kay A and that’s when the KS started. I think it’s only infatuation on the part of M and acting on the part of A on the beginning. Not yet LOVE. We know how vocal M is, we can see it in her movements, eyes, smiles, fansigns and tweets at yun ang nagustuhan natin sa kanya. Kaya nga ang daming nagbabash kay A pag hindi nya na reciprocate yung mga acts ni M. Pero ngayon I think A starting to fall for M, we can see it now from his eyes as he looks to M. Who wouldn’t fall for this kind of girl? But M is still the old M, that’s why A is very careful on his every move. And there was an interview for him that he tried to research about M prior KS like her dubsmashes, but when asked if kung nagre-research now about M as M, he answered, OFF THE RECORD na yun. Di man nya aminin, we can see na inaalam talaga ni A everything about M, kaya I’m sure alam din nya ang feelings ni M about MV (btw si PP ex ni M nung highschool, 5 yrs ago, mu lang si MV).
Di natin alam what’s happening off-cam but I’m pretty sure na may communication na sa part ni A at M. Pero we should not forget na may communication pa rin sina M at MV. If you read between the lines yung mga tweets ni M, some of them, in my pov, directed to MV. Like anything about NY, about the songs she’s listening to also her tweet: “Pano mo magagawa ang isang bagay kung ikaw mismo hindi naniniwalang kaya mo?” at “That person who makes you sad will always be the same person to make you smile. #DramaramaSaUmaga”. Someone said that MV will be back to NY maybe for the sake of M and the cynic in me tells me that M wants to move on from MV pero sya mismo di nya sure kung kaya ba nya. And kita rin natin na malungkot yung mata ni M these past few days, not because of A, but because of MV, kaya nasabi ni M na that person who makes you sad will always be the same person to make you smile.
Hopefully we should not base our assumptions on what we see on-cam during KS. We know how we love M so much but don’t forget about A. Hirap kaya intindihin ang mga babae, hanggang ngayon sinasabihan pa rin ako ng misis ko na napaka paranoid ko pagdating sa kanya lalo na kapag assuming ako, like kung galit ba sya or ok lang sa part nya (OFW kasi ako). Back to A, natatakot lang sya na masaktan ulit like nung nawala ang kanyang ina. At God fearing na tao si A kaya kina-calculate nya ang mga movements nya para di makasakit ng ibang tao. Pero ngayon na he’s starting to fall, nagiging careless sya pag kaharap nya si M, grabe kasi ang charm ng batang to. Before, I don’t mind about A, I’m only trying to look on M’s part, but now I’m starting to understand more about A and less about M, siguro bilang lalaki na rin.
Napahaba yata masyado comment ko, anyway, TIME will tell, maybe A and M will have forever and I will be glad, but if there’s none, i hope they will be good friends, and I know they will.
Again, ang mga eto ay pawang pananaw ko lamang, pwedeng mali, pwedeng tama, kayo na lang bahalang humusga. Good thing medyo nakakamove on na ako sa tambalan nilang dalawa because of A’s absence.. But still hooked up pa rin ako kay M, i really love this girl, ngayon lang ako nagkagusto sa isang artista, mabuti at di nagseselos si misis.

Baka nga kaya tinanung ni A personally kung may boyfriend siya. I have read bits and pieces of M’s blog and it does seem as if she’s not over this guy. Since her tweets are indirect, it is difficult to assume what she is exactly referring to.
Anyway, there is a photo circulating on the net of A sleeping in the flight using an aldub pillow. Some fans are outraged that his privacy was violated while some fans are kilig that he’s using that pillow. Ako, i’m feeling a bit of both, hehe.

I love KS.I love both M &A. Ibinabalik nila ang kbataan k.he he. nalungkot dn ako n wala si A. Pero dahil sa pgbbasa ko s mga comments d2, naibsan.lalo n nun mbasa ko abt “may boyfriend k n”. Ang galing ng mga soco team.
And yes,nskita ko rn ang mga pgbbago ky A. Hence akma s kanya ang song n cry…you were always the cold one…pro ngaun tagos hanggang dibdib ko ang mga titig niya ky M..and their 11th monthsary wherein duet sila, wow!
