Kaya Hindi ako nagtataka kung bakit maraming fans talaga si Alden,grabe din yung humility ng bata and napakabait,masuwerte din tayo dahil inabutan natin ang era kung saan nasa peak sya ng career nya,Hindi rin naman nagkamali ang fans sa pagpili nila iidolohin din ,medyo matatagalan na naman bago tayo makakita ng next Alden ulit and about sa mga bitaw na words nya Kay Maine either scripted or Hindi,maraming mga binata pa ang nkakarelate doon,yung medyo torpe gesture kunsabagay sino ba ang Hindi ma intimidate Kay meng di ba?dumaan din ako sa stage na ganyan nung early 20’s ko, madalas din sa TV especially sa live na shows mixed na din ang feel and real dyan,mga tao din naman yang mga yan,yun nga lang ang pinili nilang mga trabaho to entertain and magpasaya,magpakilig.
sa tingin mo, kelan lalabas yung prince of darkness? pag wala na siyang career? wala pa siyang career nun humble na talaga siya. God and family first before everything else. he started from the bottom in his career. i think it’s a little unfair referring him to as “Prince of Darkness”.
so the sincerity issue is back again and again not once not twice but many times. i only shrug it off today. ilang beses na bang dumaan yan dito at umalis? sa totoo lang, di normal yung sitwasyon nila. they are not just your conventional loveteam, they are phenomenal. every movement, me meaning. pero mas napapansin si alden, kasi laging MIA. umiiwas ba si alden? or is it a career move by the management? are they trying to separate them as much as possible? i can only speculate. dame pwedeng possibilities. but one thing is for sure. ano man ang pinagdadaanan nila, they still support each other. they got each other’s back. i still maintain my verdict na they are more than friends but less than lovers (unless umamin sila).

We did drink the AlDub kool -aid.Some of us are coming out of it.Some are still passionately and hopelessly deep into it. I am out but let me lick my wounds first..I’m just thankful this blog is here coz i will be labeled a tard and a one sided fan elsewhere.I am a secret fan and i just have to let it all out in anonymity or I will go crazy hahaha.After my rants, i will be off this roller coaster for good na.

kaloka kayo. kayo ang broken-hearted e hindi naman kayo ang kasama sa wedding. haha. you are just putting too much emotional investment. mas mabuti pang ienjoy niyo ang show kaysa madisappoint kayo kasi hindi nameet ang expectations niyo. for me, basta makita ko silang masaya, masaya din ako. I always read between the lines. mas ok pa pala nanay ko, ang saya-saya niya sa pinapanuod niya without thinking about sa mga reactions ng mga tao.
Thissssssssssssss is it ! People are expecting too much for a two person that just met each after only for a few months ! They only met each other after tamang panahon and people already expecting for these two to spend valentines day together ! Goshhhh . Give these two some space and stop expecting too much from them. Why people cant just enjoy what they have right now ? Why are people making assumption towards the man who is a god fearing man. i dont know how people can believe about the ridiculous preggy rumors . Stop tiring yourself and cant we just enjoy what they have now. Whether they have found their forever in each other thats only for them to find out. We as a fans just need to support them through their journey and not doubting every single gesture that they make for each other . I cant stop people from spreading the bad vibes but i am hoping that some of you can remember how far that we come from just an accident to a phenomenal loveteam . haha in a way. yes i’m emotionally invested. i still remember the days i sleep late because of countless replays of episodes and found myself replaying it again the moment i wake up. and im not really fond of loveteam by that time. just started watching aldub on september 12 because of sadness. then boom! haha. i talk too much
When was a day that people NEVER made an assumption… The foundation of AlDub is built on An Assumption. We All of Us Assume that Alden and Maine liked each other upon laying eyes on each other on that split screen on July 16th. The writer of this blog himself, writes his pieces based on assumptions… We can only assume… because you assume when you’re not really sure. None of us can truly be sure. We’ve just deluded ourselves into thinking that we are.
It’s normal to assume. Assumptions are valid minor premises based on observations. It’s actually a healthy exercise of the rationale mind God endows upon humans. On the other hand, delusion is an abnormal strong belief on a false information and it’s strongly associated with someone who has lost contact with reality (psychosis).
As people express their disappointment thru assumptions about what they observe on RFJr’s off-cam treatment towards Maine who has endeared them by her genuine heart, they’re protective and definitely not deluded – in the same way that an elder sister is not deluded when she observes untoward tell-tale signs on her younger sister’s suitor and thus has become instinctively protective of her. More often than not, people assume because they care (but be careful that assumptions won’t degenerate into rumors :D). This nurturing tendency is often exercised by women (not surprising why most who complain of RFJr’s off-cam behavior are women LOL).
Back to Aldub. Objectively, it’s wonderful to see that both pro- or anti-RJFr are pouring their hearts out – showing they LOVE & CARE. May RFJr & Maine take this “honing process” & “growing pains” positively. Them ending up an “item” or not is less important to me. Personally, I don’t encourage them if they’re not ready & equipped for a serious real-life relationship yet. Friendship is a safe learning venue for now. They must disregard the external pressures. What’s more important is their growth as individuals. Improve what needs improvement. May they not waste every learning opportunity (including discernment on what their fans express), seek counsel/support from the sincere & competent (parents, senior colleagues, priests/pastors, et. al.), pray for what’s best for them as unique creatures of God with their unique circumstances & eventually emerge as better equipped adults.
To the fans: Emotions are invested kasi (as Zander said) kaya be understanding and considerate na lang. Even a moth has to stay away if the flame is hurting her. Level-headed people agree to disagree but remain at peace with each other. If possible, be a happy-camper without necessarily compromising what you stand for :).
And one thing more: I’m impressed by the eloquence of the commenters here! This blogsite made me see that our home country is deluged with sensitive talented writers!

Virtual hugs. I do not look at your opinion as nega against AlDub. Your reaction gauges the product (yes they are a product manufactured by the network) as effective. Iyong iba nga kahit baho nila ilaladlad sa public just to gain attention. AlDub so far is the nost followed wala pang publicity stint iyan ha? And I watched KS it still is entertaining in fairness. Perhaos A and M has an arrangement of aome sorts kasi M doesn’t have a hurt reaction. In fact her aura did not change. She looked relaxed not frustrated and disappointed like the singer before. She may have expectations from A. For people consistently saying positive things about A siguro naman it i founded. Maybe they are just a blessing to each other’s career which is in a way not bad at all. In the span of 6 months they turned each other into millionaires. Kalabisan na lang if aangal pa. That is why as both claim wala na silang mahihiling pa.

A’s non-attendance at the wedding reception seems to have broken a lot of hearts. I must admit it also bothered me. Learning that he chose to be with the Aldenatics than grabbing the opportunity to be closer to M made it even more disappointing. Then I saw M’s tweet, if she was able to understand and still be happy about it who am I not to. Ako nga, suitors, BF o asawa ayoko lagi kabuntot sa mga occasions, kakasira ng diskarte minsan. In fact, I saw his absence as a chance for M to meet and mingle with people outside EB or even showbiz for that matter, without the over protective BFF. She is young and new in the industry that this type of gatherings will be beneficial for her growth as a successful artist. EB or TAPE is cocooning her when I can see that she is ready to spread her wings. I also prefer that she works with other artists just like A. Time probably wouldn’t permit it, but c’mon, they have to start prioritising.
From what I can remember, doubts on A started even before TP. It was during the ‘aktingan lang’ issue on A’s part. When this was going on, most of us commented here in Vilo’s blog in A’s defence. Part of the comments were also reminders of keeping the real and reel apart, no expectations. We were all stubborn to follow our own advises. I guess because we were all blinded by love. In my case, I always kept my eyes opened. Although sometimes I still get persuaded by the kilig lines and gestures between Aldub. I’m also a hopeless romantic you see and I am a sucker for destiny. I have enjoyed KS as KS. It keeps my insane life sane. I neither wake up at 3am to watch EB LS nor do I read Twitter feeds every hour of the day anymore. I will never miss a replay and will still read tweets as often, whenever possible. For me it was really after TP. It was the time to leave this two lovely individuals to find their forever as lovers or as friends. I sat back and was just an spectator. Don’t get me wrong, there are so many reasons why I want them to end up together, hence a big part of me still has that hope. Will it pain me if they don’t? Of course, but not to the extent that I will blame ones action against the other. We are the ones to blame, we expected, we invested and we over analysed. Let’s us all enjoy the ride and let destiny takes its course.
For those who still insist that Aldub will not be as popular if it weren’t for M. I don’t think so, with all the comments I have read lately. We all have to admit that we got so hooked with Aldub because of their lovestory. We all grew up enjoying the stories of Lola Basyang and Disney’s happy ever afters. Why do you think these stories were still as popular now as it were in the past? It was also evident whenever A is not in KS. The whole fandom is in chaos. There were talks of division. Bashings and criticisms were all over social media. So, why didn’t we enjoy KS with M and JOWAPAO during those times? I would believe that M was an instrument. We fell in love with her freshness and uniqueness. Due to Aldub, we got to know her better. The little kind gestures she does, her wacky sense of humour, her never ending talents and most of all her humility. Hence there is no doubt that she will soar in her own volition. A, on the other hand, is already established. His kindness, gentleness and faith, has further won a lot of people’s heart. They are an inspiration. Even their ethos to work harder without any qualms, in order to reach their dreams should lead as an example to all. They are indeed both worthy to be admired.
A’s no show to the reception is a blessing in disguise, as we can all now enjoy them with little or no expectations.
From my observation, A&M have kept it real. It was us that haven’t!
Hi. I’m not a psychologist but I’m good in analytics as this is the nature of my job. Let me give you my insights and observations regarding Aldub. I’m 42 already but can’t believe until now that I’m hooked this much in this tandem. But since I’m already 42, I have more matured way of living as a fan. Pangatlong LT lang sila na hinangaan ko. Una ay yung Bobby-Angelu, 2nd is Donyan. What I like in BobAng is that they never gave a hint to their fans of their real score. Fans know that they’re only friends but still the support is bombarding. Iba talaga yung charm at chemistry nila. Untl now, fan pa rin nila ako. Sa Dongyan naman, at the start of their LT is wala naman talagang expectation ang fans dahil may Karylle si Dong. But then, naging phenomenal pa rin sila. Kaya bonus talaga saming dongyanatics na natuloy sila sa forever. Now in the case of Aldub, it’s GIGANTIC phenomenon. Maybe because ERA of social media ngayon na wala nung time of Dongyan. Unlike the other two LTs, the expectations of fans are already there at the very beginning of LT. As how they said it, the backbone/secret formula of this LT is that it’s spontaneous. It’s like we’re watching a reality show about two people falling in love, unlike watching serye of Dongyan or movie of BobAng which fans know that they are only watching a script. And the history of Aldub started there. But then, the potential “destroyer” of this LT is also its secret formula, sad to say. Why?
1. The concept of show is for them to act naturally or not act at all. Therefore, fans have a mindset that what they are watching is REAL. So the ultimate part of the “story” is for them to be a real couple. Because if not, oh common, the gigantic support of fans will turn into gigantic wrath. I’m actually scared. I don’t like today’s generation. So the pressure is on them.
2. Consistent teasing of their co-host, both EB and SPS that worsen the obsession and expectation of fans. Yes nakakakilig sya talaga lalo na kung gustong gusto mo talaga magkatuluyan yung dalwa. But then, the consequences will be on Alden and Maine. Pressure pa more. Honestly, kung pwede lang ako magutos sa direk ng SPS, ipapatanggal ko na yung pagmemention kay Maine. Kasi hindi na EB yun, so malinaw na it’s about Maine and not YayaDub.
3. The ACCOUNTS created for gullible (aka FUNNY) fans. I advise you to not follow them. It will promote obsession. Remember that obsession, in whatever aspect, is never good. Maraming gumagawa ng accounts ngayon na insider daw or may reliable source para makagain ng maraming followers. May blind items pa at emojiserye na lalong nagpapatindi ng expectation ng fans. I read some comments in a famous blogsite and I can’t believe na maraming naniniwala na sumunod si Alden sa Japan, at sakay pa ng private plane. Na hinahatid daw sa bahay, minsan sa condo pa si Maine. Then coffee date sa NLEX. Then naipakilala na daw ni Alden si Maine sa family nya. LOL. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Basta ang stand ko sa mga ganito ay “PICTURE OR IT DID NOT HAPPEN”. Sa sobrang sikat ng Aldub kahit pumunta yan sa ilalim ng tulay ay may kukuha ng pictures nila. I think they forgot that. haha. Well, wala namang masama dun kung totoo nga. Not against that of course. But yung pagsunod sa Japan is just so hilarious. hahaha
Now, the question is panu naging threats ang mga yun sa ALDUB? The answer is simpply because Alden and Maine must live according to the will of their fans. Much more on Alden dahil nasa kanya ang pressure na ligawan si Maine dahil ang akala ng lahat ay inlove na inlove na si Maine at magugunaw ang mundo nya pag hindi sya niligawan ni Alden. Kaloka. They don’t even know Maine in real-life. Maine is very consistent in saying an sinasapian sya pag KS na, na ibang tao na yung naandun. Naging fan ako ni Maine dahil kakaiba sya sa mga kasabayan nya. Tapos ng college, mayaman pero simple, pwedeng pangfiesta o glamourous party, matalino, mabait, etc. So please wag naman natin palabasin na weak si Maine at kaya sya nagartista ay para maghanap ng lalaki. She’s smart and I believe na career ang priority nya ngayon kesa lovelife. Sa ngayon malago na ang mga dahon at sanga nya at marami pang bunga pero mababaw pa ang ugat. She’s working on it.
Ako naman, as much as possible ay pinipigilan kong magexpect. That’s good. Para kapag nagkatuluyan sila eh di mas masaya kasi hindi mo inexpect. Pero syempre I’m wishing for that.
And please, Alden is a very kind and god-fearing person. All people around him including Maine can attest to that. Kung sakali man na friends lang talaga sila ni Maine at di nya to ligawan, wag naman natin syang gawing masamang tao bigla. Hindi naman yun ang basehan kung masama o mabuti ang isang tao. Kahit si Maine nasasaktan sa ganun. And possible naman na si Maine ang may reservation. Who knows kung friend lang din pala ang tingin nya kay Alden.
So sa current state ng ADN ngayon, nakakatakot isipin ang mangyayari pag hindi naging sila. The signs are coming. Isa na dyan ay yung bashing dahil sa reception ni Bossing. All eyes are on him now, Kung ako nasa posisyon nila, nakakdiscourage totohanin ang lahat. Kahit pa totoong mainlove sila sa isat isa, nandun pa rin yung feeling na parang nasunod lang sila sa mga fans dahil alam nilang nanunuod ang mga fans sa bawat kilos nila. I think that’s the very reason kaya bihiira ang mga LT na nagkakatuluyan.
My suggestion is agapan na nila ngayon habang wala pa sa borderline addiction ang mga fans. Draw the line between REEL and REAL. They must learn to entertain fans without compromising their real lives.
One more thing, it saddens me knowing na mukang hanggang EB pa lang ang plano ng TAPE kay Maine. Sa kanila na mismo nanggaling na mapipilay ang show pag nawala yung dalwa. But I find it selfish. Nasa taas na naman ang EB even before Aldub. Alden is a brilliant actor and Maine is a potential brilliant actress. And moreover, the KS phenomenon deserves a phenomenal ending. The ending must have a the same, if not greater, impact with Tamang Panahon. But as how I see it now, mukang pinipilit talaga nilang mapahaba ang story habang nagrerate at tatapusin lang kapag lumaylay na. That’s not a smart move. very very wrong. Wala nanag impact ang next project nila kung ang last project nila ay natapos lang basta-basta.
I’m really anticipating for their 1st teleserye. Pwede ring movie pero kasi ang teleserye eh araw-araw sinusubaybayan. May time pa sila to rest kasi di naman araw-araw ang taping. So pwede sila magshow abroad pero araw-araw pa rin sa TV.
Tama, they are stretching the drama between LN and her mother lalu na puro yung bugbugan with Yayamot too long. It is no longer funny but violent and children might think it is acceptable. I think TAPE is milking ALDUB for every penny they can get. Alden is exploited to the max, Sam and Pat are no longer to be found and I miss the two.
It is still a (show) business and I think ending KS on a high note is not in their plans unless advertisers start to dwindle.
I have been thinking the same thing all along. TAPE is being selfish. I guess you’re both right. They won’t let M work outside of EB and there won’t be any teleserye or movie either unless it’s produced by TAPE. I believe M’s growth as an artist and even as a singer is a remote possibility. “Buburuhin” nila si Maine sa EB. Pardon me for the word but I hope I am wrong.
I was a Bobby and Angelu fan too. Di ko nalang na nasundan when I left pinas. Didn’t see them again until their guesting at the ryzza mae show and learned they have become really good friends. Sana and there’s a good possibility naman na maging ganito rin si M and A if they don’t end up together. Praying for good projects for the 2 and better planning for ks storyline when A is absent. He will be gone for most of March. They should avoid plots like 3rd party or may naiiwan to avoid negative feedback.

This has been said before but I’ll say it anyway, this blog is one avenue for level-headed fans to share their views and opinions about this suffocatingly popular couple. Napakagaling ng paglalahad ng mga punto matapos ung gulo sa social media sites dun sa kasal ni bossing.
Reading comments got me thinking about those people tagged as “one-sided fans” long ago when RJ went to Japan and how they are all smirking now and uttering “told you so.” Hahah! Don’t get me wrong, I respect the opinions of all the people here pumasok lang sa isip ko ung mga na ostracize because of airing their sentiments and views about ALDUB esp RJ. Well, marami naman talaga na kinarir ang pagcriticize na naging basher na kaya rin unfair.
Dito mas level-headed ang mga tao at open sa opinyon ng bawat isa. Salamat sa blog na ito at sa iba pang sites at nakakakilala ako ng mga bagong kaibigan. Share ko lang: I just went to a meetup date with some fans who I already became friends with because of ALDUB and it’s so nice to chat nonstop with people who fully understand my addiction. Lol we are not members of any fans club just ordinary people sharing stories of kilig and disappointments…
Well, ang gusto ko lang muna ngayon umabot sa isang taon ang ALDUB. Sure naman na aabot kaya lang marami na talagang bumibitaw…not blaming them, nakakalungkot lang…natutunan ko dito na rumespeto ng opinyon ng iba na hindi nanghuhusga. Basta enjoy lang…wag muna magassume at mag-over analyze…pero!

If one will notice M has started separating reel and real already. She created an account in tweeter for Divina Ursula Smash (Yaya Dub). She also wrote her new blog that her date on VDay is her bed and she has planned it way ahead..
Kudos to all the contributors of this blog and specially to Mr. Vilo for creating this venue. I enjoy the Aldub opinions, analyses, disagreements, grievances, rationalizations, advices, etc. written here. There are a lot of smart inputs I agree with but more admirable is the respect we give to those with different or opposing views. Walang bastos/batusan, which begs me to ask – does Mr. Vilo take the liberty of censoring the offensive ones?
Anyway, happy weekend everyone. I hope after seeing M attempting to throw her shoe at RJ we no longer see her as the weakling we need to protect…aktingan or not.
I try to moderate as much as I can but mainly to keep the language clean. I never censor point of views, opinions, perspectives or beliefs whether or not I agree with them. If I think the expletives are really necessary to keep a comment’s context, I try to just bleep letters out.
Of course, over-the-top violent reactions to comments as well as those that invite and incite them are outright unpublished. So, I humbly request everyone to keep the comments clean and relevant and avoid ad hominem attacks. Kill the message, not the messenger.
I work in rehab and AlDub is my escape from working in a stressful environment wirking with people with behavioral priblems. And minus the possibility of a romantic relationship I still like M and A. I hope they will be the Nida Blanca and Nestor de Villa, Guy and Pip of this generation. Sana they will not decide to work as lone wolves yet. I am pleased that EB is giving them more dancing routines. Next sana would be a duet apt for their vocal range. Mahahasa talaga sila. Who knows by next year kaya na nilang mag-concert. They will be able to give good justice to a PhP20 million production.

I disagree that EB is holding back M to soar..sa nakikita ko hinahasa nila si M knowing EB na they let their own talent shine in their own way..walang sapawan ba ganoin!Raw and organic nga daw si M diba? I can imagine her na nakikipagsabayan sa mga veteran actresses like Celia Rodriguez, Jaclyn Jose, Cherie Gil..nakkathrill di ba?

there is this ruling in channel 2 that forbids any commercial that depicts any part of a show from a channel (in this case, gma7). at first i let it pass because obviously, most aldub commercials show splitscreen, yaya’s apron, dubsmash, tres lolas, etc. thus the whole commercial is not shown or only one of them (alden or maine) can appear one a time. but some commercials do not exhibit any of these (bingo, downy) and yet, alden and maine still dont appear together. channel 2 is just being bitter, insecure and incompetent. sorry for my language.

@enochain, I think the advertisers already know the implication of having Aldub as their endorsers. I admit nakakainis makita ang talents ng Brand X sa GMA TVCs pero let’s take it with a grain of salt not ampalaya.
Bottom line is, anong channel ba ang talo by not showing Aldub TVCs? Ang importante sa GMA is the amount of airtime that is being sold regardless of who are in the commercials. Natalo na ang Brand X before when they did not allow TAPE to produce EB because they want to produce the show themselves and not have independent producers in their station.

Well, as for me, I was one of those who got disappointed because of the “no show thing” Isa rin ako sa mga nabaliw, umasa, nag overthink.. na- hopia when he didn’t went to the reception, feeling ko yun na yun e, parang it’s a wake up call for me to stop the illusion. Sa case naman ni Elmo, si Pia actually ang ayaw sa kanya. I agree. Napahanga ako ni Maine sa acting nya kahapon. Yung scene na nasa ospital sila ni Alden. Monotone pa sya sa ngayon pero she can act with heart na. 🙂

Now, here’s my analysis regarding the fall of ratings of EB. I follow Nora Calderon’s tweeter and I also visit PEP so I have records in my mind of the ratings (AGB). I don’t base in Kantar. Not because I’m kapuso but because the numbers are really hilarious and unbelievable. hahaha. Don’t get me wrong, EB is still leading the battle, pero yung lamang ay bumaba na. Before TP, EB’s rating has an average of 30-32% rating for weekdays and 36-40% on Saturdays while ST is consistent of having single digit rating. For comparison, EB usually has 4 times the ratings of ST. Then, as the December holiday was drawing nearer, the weekday’s average rating fell to 27% and 34% for Saturdays. Then it became lower again in Christmas vacation when the episodes are all taped and other episodes are just throwbacks.
When New year came, KS is supposed to have a momentous comeback, but they failed. There was no story at all. Just a daily routine of PDA, cheesy lines, kilig jokes, and real-score hints of Alden and Maine. It’s like you already know what would happen tomorrow. Now, the average ratings for weekdays is 22-23% and 27-30% on Saturday. Still leading against ST but the comparison is now only double (no more 4 times). Why it happened? First, let’s discuss the demography of every fandom.
A. Solid fans (20%) = they are the loyal ones. They buy magazines, albums, collectibles, go to the concerts, avail seats in mall tours, spending their day in social media and news sites. Solid fans’ support remains even if their idol is no longer a hot item. They also consist of fans’ club. They will fight to death for their idols.
B. Fond viewers (30%) = Their support is like that of the solid fans. The only difference is that their support only lasts while the LT lasts. When the LT is no longer a hot item or not visible in media, they also disappear. In other words, their support depends on the visibility of their idol.
C. Program fans (20%) = they are fond of the show itself rather than the leading characters. They just want entertainment, that’s all. Their support lasts as long as they are entertained.
D. Bandwagon fans (30%) = Nakikiuso. :)) Because Aldub is all over my FB feeds, it’s talk of the town, my officemates are talking about it, why don’t I give it a try. After then, I already feel the same entertainment with them and I began to unleash the fan in me. Until I notice that my feeds about Aldub is getting fewer to none at all, it’s no longer the hottest craze in town, I began to lose my interest. In other words, their response depends on the response of fans in A, B and C.
Now here are the factors the I see to affect the ratings of EB:
1. STORYLINE = this is the major factor, I guess. Before tamang panahon, everyone is crazy about Aldub because of the “surprise/suspense’ factor. Eto yung time na laging bitin pag may busina at talagang hinuhulaan mo yung mangyayari kinabukasan. We are surprised and looking forward for more characters. There is really an explicit story to follow. After TP, nasustain pa rin naman like yung kay Donya Baba and Cindy. Pero yung mga sumunod na weeks ay naging routinary na lang. A Daily dose of kilig jokes, cheesy lines, PDA and real-score hints is good for the fans A and B. But for C and D, may umay factor. They want story and substance.
I think this is also the reason why KS is no longer covered in 24 oras. Remember what happened to OTWOL? It was soaring high until viewers realized na wala na silang napapanuod na kwento kundi halikan ng Jadine araw-araw kaya ngayon lumaylay na ang impact at ratings.
2. MAINE’s transformation = of course it is never bad. Maine deserves to showcase what she has. But there are viewers who loved the story where she is still a yaya. Filipinos love that kind of love story between a damsel in distress and a good-looking man.
3. Alden’s missing in action = one disadvantage that i see in KS is that the characters must be available everyday unlike in teleserye that 2 days taping is good for 1-week episodes. I’m not against A’s trips abroad. It actually helps Eb because he promotes GMA Pinoy TV and he strengthens the support of fans abroad.
4. Those fans/viewers that believe Alden and Maine is going to be real but realized na hopia pala sila, they had lost interest and left the show.
5. Those that are gullible sa mga paninira ng Brand-X.
6. UMAY-FACTOR. This is inevitable. Even the most remarkable and highest rating teleserye must come to an end. But the thing is, it must end in a remarkable and momentous way. Sayang naman kung matatapos kung kelan wala na yung support ng mga tao.
7. The EB is dependent on ALDUB. This is a very important thing that they have to work on. KS is only a segment of EB. Pwedeng mataas pa rin ang rating ng KS pero nahihila pababa ng ibang segment. The creative management must also think of remarkable segments at wag lang magfocus sa AlDub. This is the very reason din kaya pinapahaba pa nila ang story. Mapipilay ang EB kapag nagteleserye na ang AlDub. Pati nga ibang segments sinakop na ng AlDub. Naging extra na lang ang ibang hosts. Dapat nirereserve nila yung kiligan sa KS, hindi sa entire EB. May chance for umay and overexposure.
Alden and Maine are both talented. Either as LT or individual, I believe tatagal pa sila sa showbiz. They have lot of supporters. The only factor needed is the material na ibibigay sa kanila for their next projects. Yung story na remarkable at bigatin din yung cast. BTW, I’m sorry to offend some of you pero di talaga ako satisfied sa My bebe love. Then nalaman ko na si bibeth orteza pala nagsulat. Eh most of her works eh plain and simple lang. I believe Alden and Maine deserves more than that.

Personally i am happy na hindi sila natanggap sa PBB. do u guys think na they would be this phenomenal kung pinasikat sila sa PBB? most housemates dumadaan lang sa kasikatan and eventually nalalaos din. Even sa GMA, hindi sya napapansin before KS. let’S face it. Iba ang magic ng KS at Aldub and first of its kind kaya hindi na dapat tayo magdwell pa sa PBB or nagsisi si Dyogi coz i dont think so.
Kung meron man na magaganda ang storyline,eh parang Hindi rin kasi akma sa oras yung theme saka yung portrayal kailangan hasain pa,pero almost there na rin konti nalang,maikli din ang oras kaya series talaga ang concept nila.
Isn’t it amazing?! Dameng nakaabang sa love story nitong 2 na to. Konting kiliti sa likod ni M, uy parang tayo na rin ang kiniliti ni A, sobrang kilig at natural iisipin ulet naten may something talaga sila.. Pag kumanta si A at hindi natingnan si M, biglang ay bakit ganun? hindi tumitingin si A kay M.. Nakakalurkey! Overthink pa more! Yung kinakapa yung navel ni M at yung tanggal bra move ni A ay hindi gawain ng isang gentleman, ang daming tao sa paligid nila napaka embarassing nyan para sa babae. A lot of people was turned off by A’s actions considering that he wants to project an image of a God fearing person and a gentleman.

Some points to share lang:
1.i don’t think totoo ang preggy issue. Siguro nmn A knows the repercussions for lying.
2.i agree that KS should not resort to ” stretching” but instead end it w/ a bang
3.the end of a KS is the beginning of M’s career in hosting at EB.ALDUB soap to follow at primetine.
4.i believe type talaga ni A si Japs based on the bts videos that showed how protective & caring he was w^ her & surprisingly nakikita ko ginagawa nya rin kay M. But thHe had so many superlatives for her but unfortunately hindi sila ang nakatadhana.
5.what i know is that Pat is the description of girfriend he would want to have kaya siguro may crush sya dati.However, his type of gf before in his 2013-2014 interviews somehow changed when ALDUB began.i am sure you have read some of his recent interviews.
6.in 2013 writeup he said ( he was not that popular yet) pr mapkilig ang audience he would kneel in front of a girl he chose from the audience and kiss her hand. He had knelt four or five times in front of M and the viewers were all kilig..w/ M i want to believe it was an honest spontaneous act.
7.I can see a strong admiration w/ the way A stares at M. If it isn’t the beginning of love i don’t know how to label it.
8.I am one of those who gets annoyed hearing A uttering ” joke lang lola” in successive scenes. Mabuti nabawasan.
9.I will just assume that soon RJ & M will announce their status.

I think nasa level up flirting stage sila… too touchy. Which means comfortable sila and may physical attraction talaga. My take on “joke lang” it’s somewhat of a cover up if that’s the right term. Downplay the real meaning kumbaga para di masyado obvious. Pero kung may forever or chance to be an actual couple… madami ribbon cutting.

so the sincerity issue is back again and again not once not twice but many times. i only shrug it off today. ilang beses na bang dumaan yan dito at umalis? sa totoo lang, di normal yung sitwasyon nila. they are not just your conventional loveteam, they are phenomenal. every movement, me meaning. pero mas napapansin si alden, kasi laging MIA. umiiwas ba si alden? or is it a career move by the management? are they trying to separate them as much as possible? i can only speculate. dame pwedeng possibilities. but one thing is for sure. ano man ang pinagdadaanan nila, they still support each other. they got each other’s back. i still maintain my verdict na they are more than friends but less than lovers (unless umamin sila).

I always read between the lines. mas ok pa pala nanay ko, ang saya-saya niya sa pinapanuod niya without thinking about sa mga reactions ng mga tao.

Why people cant just enjoy what they have right now ? Why are people making assumption towards the man who is a god fearing man. i dont know how people can believe about the ridiculous preggy rumors . Stop tiring yourself and cant we just enjoy what they have now. Whether they have found their forever in each other thats only for them to find out. We as a fans just need to support them through their journey and not doubting every single gesture that they make for each other . I cant stop people from spreading the bad vibes but i am hoping that some of you can remember how far that we come from just an accident to a phenomenal loveteam . They are still young and the journey is still a long way and I am just here supporting these two on whatever that will come their way . I am here to stay for good. When was a day that people NEVER made an assumption… The foundation of AlDub is built on An Assumption. We All of Us Assume that Alden and Maine liked each other upon laying eyes on each other on that split screen on July 16th. The writer of this blog himself, writes his pieces based on assumptions… We can only assume… because you assume when you’re not really sure. None of us can truly be sure. We’ve just deluded ourselves into thinking that we are.

It’s normal to assume. Assumptions are valid minor premises based on observations. It’s actually a healthy exercise of the rationale mind God endows upon humans. On the other hand, delusion is an abnormal strong belief on a false information and it’s strongly associated with someone who has lost contact with reality (psychosis).
As people express their disappointment thru assumptions about what they observe on RFJr’s off-cam treatment towards Maine who has endeared them by her genuine heart, they’re protective and definitely not deluded – in the same way that an elder sister is not deluded when she observes untoward tell-tale signs on her younger sister’s suitor and thus has become instinctively protective of her. More often than not, people assume because they care (but be careful that assumptions won’t degenerate into rumors :D). This nurturing tendency is often exercised by women (not surprising why most who complain of RFJr’s off-cam behavior are women LOL).
Back to Aldub. Objectively, it’s wonderful to see that both pro- or anti-RJFr are pouring their hearts out – showing they LOVE & CARE. May RFJr & Maine take this “honing process” & “growing pains” positively. Them ending up an “item” or not is less important to me. Personally, I don’t encourage them if they’re not ready & equipped for a serious real-life relationship yet. Friendship is a safe learning venue for now. They must disregard the external pressures. What’s more important is their growth as individuals. Improve what needs improvement. May they not waste every learning opportunity (including discernment on what their fans express), seek counsel/support from the sincere & competent (parents, senior colleagues, priests/pastors, et. al.), pray for what’s best for them as unique creatures of God with their unique circumstances & eventually emerge as better equipped adults.
To the fans: Emotions are invested kasi (as Zander said) kaya be understanding and considerate na lang. Even a moth has to stay away if the flame is hurting her. Level-headed people agree to disagree but remain at peace with each other. If possible, be a happy-camper without necessarily compromising what you stand for :).
And one thing more: I’m impressed by the eloquence of the commenters here! This blogsite made me see that our home country is deluged with sensitive talented writers!

Virtual hugs. I do not look at your opinion as nega against AlDub. Your reaction gauges the product (yes they are a product manufactured by the network) as effective. Iyong iba nga kahit baho nila ilaladlad sa public just to gain attention. AlDub so far is the nost followed wala pang publicity stint iyan ha? And I watched KS it still is entertaining in fairness. Perhaos A and M has an arrangement of aome sorts kasi M doesn’t have a hurt reaction. In fact her aura did not change. She looked relaxed not frustrated and disappointed like the singer before. She may have expectations from A. For people consistently saying positive things about A siguro naman it i founded. Maybe they are just a blessing to each other’s career which is in a way not bad at all. In the span of 6 months they turned each other into millionaires. Kalabisan na lang if aangal pa. That is why as both claim wala na silang mahihiling pa.

I’m into with this. but hey, a lot of me has changed and I sense it changed a lot in you also. still thankful to them. minsan naiisip ko sapat na yung JOWAPAO pero me kulang ko, then ALDUB came. indeed, 2015 will never be the same again.

A’s non-attendance at the wedding reception seems to have broken a lot of hearts. I must admit it also bothered me. Learning that he chose to be with the Aldenatics than grabbing the opportunity to be closer to M made it even more disappointing. Then I saw M’s tweet, if she was able to understand and still be happy about it who am I not to. Ako nga, suitors, BF o asawa ayoko lagi kabuntot sa mga occasions, kakasira ng diskarte minsan. In fact, I saw his absence as a chance for M to meet and mingle with people outside EB or even showbiz for that matter, without the over protective BFF. She is young and new in the industry that this type of gatherings will be beneficial for her growth as a successful artist. EB or TAPE is cocooning her when I can see that she is ready to spread her wings. I also prefer that she works with other artists just like A. Time probably wouldn’t permit it, but c’mon, they have to start prioritising.
From what I can remember, doubts on A started even before TP. It was during the ‘aktingan lang’ issue on A’s part. When this was going on, most of us commented here in Vilo’s blog in A’s defence. Part of the comments were also reminders of keeping the real and reel apart, no expectations. We were all stubborn to follow our own advises. I guess because we were all blinded by love. In my case, I always kept my eyes opened. Although sometimes I still get persuaded by the kilig lines and gestures between Aldub. I’m also a hopeless romantic you see and I am a sucker for destiny. I have enjoyed KS as KS. It keeps my insane life sane. I neither wake up at 3am to watch EB LS nor do I read Twitter feeds every hour of the day anymore. I will never miss a replay and will still read tweets as often, whenever possible. For me it was really after TP. It was the time to leave this two lovely individuals to find their forever as lovers or as friends. I sat back and was just an spectator. Don’t get me wrong, there are so many reasons why I want them to end up together, hence a big part of me still has that hope. Will it pain me if they don’t? Of course, but not to the extent that I will blame ones action against the other. We are the ones to blame, we expected, we invested and we over analysed. Let’s us all enjoy the ride and let destiny takes its course.
For those who still insist that Aldub will not be as popular if it weren’t for M. I don’t think so, with all the comments I have read lately. We all have to admit that we got so hooked with Aldub because of their lovestory. We all grew up enjoying the stories of Lola Basyang and Disney’s happy ever afters. Why do you think these stories were still as popular now as it were in the past? It was also evident whenever A is not in KS. The whole fandom is in chaos. There were talks of division. Bashings and criticisms were all over social media. So, why didn’t we enjoy KS with M and JOWAPAO during those times? I would believe that M was an instrument. We fell in love with her freshness and uniqueness. Due to Aldub, we got to know her better. The little kind gestures she does, her wacky sense of humour, her never ending talents and most of all her humility. Hence there is no doubt that she will soar in her own volition. A, on the other hand, is already established. His kindness, gentleness and faith, has further won a lot of people’s heart. They are an inspiration. Even their ethos to work harder without any qualms, in order to reach their dreams should lead as an example to all. They are indeed both worthy to be admired.
A’s no show to the reception is a blessing in disguise, as we can all now enjoy them with little or no expectations.
From my observation, A&M have kept it real. It was us that haven’t!

Hi. I’m not a psychologist but I’m good in analytics as this is the nature of my job. Let me give you my insights and observations regarding Aldub. I’m 42 already but can’t believe until now that I’m hooked this much in this tandem. But since I’m already 42, I have more matured way of living as a fan. Pangatlong LT lang sila na hinangaan ko. Una ay yung Bobby-Angelu, 2nd is Donyan. What I like in BobAng is that they never gave a hint to their fans of their real score. Fans know that they’re only friends but still the support is bombarding. Iba talaga yung charm at chemistry nila. Untl now, fan pa rin nila ako. Sa Dongyan naman, at the start of their LT is wala naman talagang expectation ang fans dahil may Karylle si Dong. But then, naging phenomenal pa rin sila. Kaya bonus talaga saming dongyanatics na natuloy sila sa forever. Now in the case of Aldub, it’s GIGANTIC phenomenon. Maybe because ERA of social media ngayon na wala nung time of Dongyan. Unlike the other two LTs, the expectations of fans are already there at the very beginning of LT. As how they said it, the backbone/secret formula of this LT is that it’s spontaneous. It’s like we’re watching a reality show about two people falling in love, unlike watching serye of Dongyan or movie of BobAng which fans know that they are only watching a script. And the history of Aldub started there. But then, the potential “destroyer” of this LT is also its secret formula, sad to say. Why?
1. The concept of show is for them to act naturally or not act at all. Therefore, fans have a mindset that what they are watching is REAL. So the ultimate part of the “story” is for them to be a real couple. Because if not, oh common, the gigantic support of fans will turn into gigantic wrath. I’m actually scared. I don’t like today’s generation. So the pressure is on them.
2. Consistent teasing of their co-host, both EB and SPS that worsen the obsession and expectation of fans. Yes nakakakilig sya talaga lalo na kung gustong gusto mo talaga magkatuluyan yung dalwa. But then, the consequences will be on Alden and Maine. Pressure pa more. Honestly, kung pwede lang ako magutos sa direk ng SPS, ipapatanggal ko na yung pagmemention kay Maine. Kasi hindi na EB yun, so malinaw na it’s about Maine and not YayaDub.
3. The ACCOUNTS created for gullible (aka FUNNY) fans. I advise you to not follow them. It will promote obsession. Remember that obsession, in whatever aspect, is never good. Maraming gumagawa ng accounts ngayon na insider daw or may reliable source para makagain ng maraming followers. May blind items pa at emojiserye na lalong nagpapatindi ng expectation ng fans. I read some comments in a famous blogsite and I can’t believe na maraming naniniwala na sumunod si Alden sa Japan, at sakay pa ng private plane. Na hinahatid daw sa bahay, minsan sa condo pa si Maine. Then coffee date sa NLEX. Then naipakilala na daw ni Alden si Maine sa family nya. LOL. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Basta ang stand ko sa mga ganito ay “PICTURE OR IT DID NOT HAPPEN”. Sa sobrang sikat ng Aldub kahit pumunta yan sa ilalim ng tulay ay may kukuha ng pictures nila. I think they forgot that. haha. Well, wala namang masama dun kung totoo nga. Not against that of course. But yung pagsunod sa Japan is just so hilarious. hahaha
Now, the question is panu naging threats ang mga yun sa ALDUB? The answer is simpply because Alden and Maine must live according to the will of their fans. Much more on Alden dahil nasa kanya ang pressure na ligawan si Maine dahil ang akala ng lahat ay inlove na inlove na si Maine at magugunaw ang mundo nya pag hindi sya niligawan ni Alden. Kaloka. They don’t even know Maine in real-life. Maine is very consistent in saying an sinasapian sya pag KS na, na ibang tao na yung naandun. Naging fan ako ni Maine dahil kakaiba sya sa mga kasabayan nya. Tapos ng college, mayaman pero simple, pwedeng pangfiesta o glamourous party, matalino, mabait, etc. So please wag naman natin palabasin na weak si Maine at kaya sya nagartista ay para maghanap ng lalaki. She’s smart and I believe na career ang priority nya ngayon kesa lovelife. Sa ngayon malago na ang mga dahon at sanga nya at marami pang bunga pero mababaw pa ang ugat. She’s working on it.
Ako naman, as much as possible ay pinipigilan kong magexpect. That’s good. Para kapag nagkatuluyan sila eh di mas masaya kasi hindi mo inexpect. Pero syempre I’m wishing for that.
And please, Alden is a very kind and god-fearing person. All people around him including Maine can attest to that. Kung sakali man na friends lang talaga sila ni Maine at di nya to ligawan, wag naman natin syang gawing masamang tao bigla. Hindi naman yun ang basehan kung masama o mabuti ang isang tao. Kahit si Maine nasasaktan sa ganun. And possible naman na si Maine ang may reservation. Who knows kung friend lang din pala ang tingin nya kay Alden.
So sa current state ng ADN ngayon, nakakatakot isipin ang mangyayari pag hindi naging sila. The signs are coming. Isa na dyan ay yung bashing dahil sa reception ni Bossing. All eyes are on him now, Kung ako nasa posisyon nila, nakakdiscourage totohanin ang lahat. Kahit pa totoong mainlove sila sa isat isa, nandun pa rin yung feeling na parang nasunod lang sila sa mga fans dahil alam nilang nanunuod ang mga fans sa bawat kilos nila. I think that’s the very reason kaya bihiira ang mga LT na nagkakatuluyan.
My suggestion is agapan na nila ngayon habang wala pa sa borderline addiction ang mga fans. Draw the line between REEL and REAL. They must learn to entertain fans without compromising their real lives.

One more thing, it saddens me knowing na mukang hanggang EB pa lang ang plano ng TAPE kay Maine. Sa kanila na mismo nanggaling na mapipilay ang show pag nawala yung dalwa. But I find it selfish. Nasa taas na naman ang EB even before Aldub. Alden is a brilliant actor and Maine is a potential brilliant actress. And moreover, the KS phenomenon deserves a phenomenal ending. The ending must have a the same, if not greater, impact with Tamang Panahon. But as how I see it now, mukang pinipilit talaga nilang mapahaba ang story habang nagrerate at tatapusin lang kapag lumaylay na. That’s not a smart move. very very wrong. Wala nanag impact ang next project nila kung ang last project nila ay natapos lang basta-basta.
I’m really anticipating for their 1st teleserye. Pwede ring movie pero kasi ang teleserye eh araw-araw sinusubaybayan. May time pa sila to rest kasi di naman araw-araw ang taping. So pwede sila magshow abroad pero araw-araw pa rin sa TV.

Tama, they are stretching the drama between LN and her mother lalu na puro yung bugbugan with Yayamot too long. It is no longer funny but violent and children might think it is acceptable. I think TAPE is milking ALDUB for every penny they can get. Alden is exploited to the max, Sam and Pat are no longer to be found and I miss the two.
It is still a (show) business and I think ending KS on a high note is not in their plans unless advertisers start to dwindle.

I have been thinking the same thing all along. TAPE is being selfish. I guess you’re both right. They won’t let M work outside of EB and there won’t be any teleserye or movie either unless it’s produced by TAPE. I believe M’s growth as an artist and even as a singer is a remote possibility. “Buburuhin” nila si Maine sa EB. Pardon me for the word but I hope I am wrong.

I was a Bobby and Angelu fan too. Di ko nalang na nasundan when I left pinas. Didn’t see them again until their guesting at the ryzza mae show and learned they have become really good friends. Sana and there’s a good possibility naman na maging ganito rin si M and A if they don’t end up together. Praying for good projects for the 2 and better planning for ks storyline when A is absent. He will be gone for most of March. They should avoid plots like 3rd party or may naiiwan to avoid negative feedback.

This has been said before but I’ll say it anyway, this blog is one avenue for level-headed fans to share their views and opinions about this suffocatingly popular couple. Napakagaling ng paglalahad ng mga punto matapos ung gulo sa social media sites dun sa kasal ni bossing.
Reading comments got me thinking about those people tagged as “one-sided fans” long ago when RJ went to Japan and how they are all smirking now and uttering “told you so.” Hahah! Don’t get me wrong, I respect the opinions of all the people here pumasok lang sa isip ko ung mga na ostracize because of airing their sentiments and views about ALDUB esp RJ. Well, marami naman talaga na kinarir ang pagcriticize na naging basher na kaya rin unfair.
Dito mas level-headed ang mga tao at open sa opinyon ng bawat isa. Salamat sa blog na ito at sa iba pang sites at nakakakilala ako ng mga bagong kaibigan. Share ko lang: I just went to a meetup date with some fans who I already became friends with because of ALDUB and it’s so nice to chat nonstop with people who fully understand my addiction. Lol we are not members of any fans club just ordinary people sharing stories of kilig and disappointments…
Well, ang gusto ko lang muna ngayon umabot sa isang taon ang ALDUB. Sure naman na aabot kaya lang marami na talagang bumibitaw…not blaming them, nakakalungkot lang…natutunan ko dito na rumespeto ng opinyon ng iba na hindi nanghuhusga. Basta enjoy lang…wag muna magassume at mag-over analyze…pero!
Naniniwala pa rin ako sa forever nila nag-iipon lang si RJ. Lol

Kudos to all the contributors of this blog and specially to Mr. Vilo for creating this venue. I enjoy the Aldub opinions, analyses, disagreements, grievances, rationalizations, advices, etc. written here. There are a lot of smart inputs I agree with but more admirable is the respect we give to those with different or opposing views. Walang bastos/batusan, which begs me to ask – does Mr. Vilo take the liberty of censoring the offensive ones?
Anyway, happy weekend everyone. I hope after seeing M attempting to throw her shoe at RJ we no longer see her as the weakling we need to protect…aktingan or not.

I try to moderate as much as I can but mainly to keep the language clean. I never censor point of views, opinions, perspectives or beliefs whether or not I agree with them. If I think the expletives are really necessary to keep a comment’s context, I try to just bleep letters out.
Of course, over-the-top violent reactions to comments as well as those that invite and incite them are outright unpublished. So, I humbly request everyone to keep the comments clean and relevant and avoid ad hominem attacks. Kill the message, not the messenger.

I work in rehab and AlDub is my escape from working in a stressful environment wirking with people with behavioral priblems. And minus the possibility of a romantic relationship I still like M and A. I hope they will be the Nida Blanca and Nestor de Villa, Guy and Pip of this generation. Sana they will not decide to work as lone wolves yet. I am pleased that EB is giving them more dancing routines. Next sana would be a duet apt for their vocal range. Mahahasa talaga sila. Who knows by next year kaya na nilang mag-concert. They will be able to give good justice to a PhP20 million production.

I disagree that EB is holding back M to soar..sa nakikita ko hinahasa nila si M knowing EB na they let their own talent shine in their own way..walang sapawan ba ganoin!Raw and organic nga daw si M diba? M’s strength is being spontaneous and ang weakness nya vice versa ung umact ng may script..which is evident sa Ansera lovestory. Hindi dahil sa hindi nya kaya magdeliver ng eksena kungdi dahil hindi pa lang talaga nya maembrace ng buong buo na kaya nya (mababa nga diba ang self esteem e) And sa nakikita ko sa EB un ang unti unti nilang ginagawa kay M…unti unti innuunfold kay M na “Iha halimaw ka..wag kami uy!!”Just imagine M singing without her signature paglilikot ng mukha, dancing malaGforce style na sexy but classy (just remember how she was able to model with the walis tingting..d**n gorgeous!) I can imagine her na nakikipagsabayan sa mga veteran actresses like Celia Rodriguez, Jaclyn Jose, Cherie Gil..nakkathrill di ba?
And with regards naman kay A..sa pagkakaobsessed ko sa blog na to..(Thank u sir vilo haha ) nabasa ko na ata lahat ng comments dito kesehodang 705 comments pa yan!!Wala ata akong nabasang c M ang jinudge or pinagdudahan which I find it unfair for A and I feel deeply sorry for him. Mahirap basahin c M which I remember Vilo pointing it as well in one of his blog. QUESTION NO. 1: What are your thoughts regarding the TV Commercials (one good example is Mcdo) of Alden and Maine that are not being shown in Channel 2?

there is this ruling in channel 2 that forbids any commercial that depicts any part of a show from a channel (in this case, gma7). at first i let it pass because obviously, most aldub commercials show splitscreen, yaya’s apron, dubsmash, tres lolas, etc. thus the whole commercial is not shown or only one of them (alden or maine) can appear one a time. but some commercials do not exhibit any of these (bingo, downy) and yet, alden and maine still dont appear together. channel 2 is just being bitter, insecure and incompetent. sorry for my language.

@enochain, I think the advertisers already know the implication of having Aldub as their endorsers. I admit nakakainis makita ang talents ng Brand X sa GMA TVCs pero let’s take it with a grain of salt not ampalaya.

Bottom line is, anong channel ba ang talo by not showing Aldub TVCs? Ang importante sa GMA is the amount of airtime that is being sold regardless of who are in the commercials. Natalo na ang Brand X before when they did not allow TAPE to produce EB because they want to produce the show themselves and not have independent producers in their station.

Well, as for me, I was one of those who got disappointed because of the “no show thing” Isa rin ako sa mga nabaliw, umasa, nag overthink.. na- hopia when he didn’t went to the reception, feeling ko yun na yun e, parang it’s a wake up call for me to stop the illusion. They maybe attracted with each other physically but not enough to get into a relationship. Again, this is just another speculation. We don’t really know.. only them knows the truth. But I’ve come to a point na “nagsawa na” but I still find RFJ the hottest/gorgeous guy on earth..

Ang galing namang actor ni alden kung sila ni j. D daw naging sila. May interview siya dati tungkol dyan. Gma and tape think it is more appealing for the viewers to keep on guessing. It is the tradition of showbiz. Come to think of it, aldub nation exist because we thought they broke the tradition. Maine keep on saying keep it real. As a viewer can you identify the reel and real. They have gone far. Did i miss something?

Definitely they are not are not. No need for evidences. Pero honestly naaawa ako kay Julie Ann. Mabait din naman syang bata eh pero ginawa syang demonyita ng mg fantards. Kitang kita sa screen yung effort nya para malayo kay Alden. Lagi sya napunta sa kabilang dulo. The same is happening to Patricia of EB. So sad. Kung anu man ang past rift ni Aldne at Japs, past na lang yun. Di na yun relevant ngayon. Besides they are both young and immature that time. I feel sad also for A, andaming umiiwas sa kanya para sa loveteam nya. I remember close naman sila ni Patricia dati, pero ngayon di mo sila makikita na magusap o magtinginan on screen. Si japs naman I believe in good terms na sila ni Alden, nagspiel na nga sila together sa SPS eh, yun nga lang mega-bash ang nangyari kay Japs kaya yun na rin ang huli. Nakakahiya dun sa dalwang babae especially Patricia na edukada at matured na babae. Isa to siguro sa “minor” turnoff ko kay tisoy. Why would he live in his fans’ commandment? Dapat sinasanay nya rin yung mga fans kasi the more na sinusunod mo yung unreasonable command nila, the more sila namimihasa at nageexpect.

Watched the replay of sept 29 kalyeserye which made me think is there a parallelism between what’s happening off cam and the warning of the lolas. Nag-iba din kc aura ni m the previous week before this episode. Naniwala siguro din c m sa mga nabalita dati. Tignan mo nag-apologize cya pero walang kasalanan. Mga handlers din minsan kasi ng mga artistang involved ang mga bashers. Pareho minsan ng bakuran kagaya nung nabash na handler ni japs dahil sa caption nya ng pic with a & m.

Ahm. Honestly, hindi talaga sila ni Japs. A is not even following in her in social media and he keeps on denying it. I believe hindi ganung kadesperado si A sa career nya. He’s a God-centered person. Regarding naman dun sa pagsosorry ni M kay Japs, eh patunay yun that she’s the bigger person. Nagsorry sya in behalf of her fans. Yung kay patricia, siguro possible na nagkacrush si A sa kanya before Aldub came, but atleast they are friends. Kaya naaawa din ako kay Pat kasi obvious na rin yung pagiwas nya kay A pag nasa sa screen. May naalala ba kayo na nagbatuhan sila ng spiel or kahit yung magreact sa isa’t isa? Wala diba? Kahit yung ATM with the Baes na silang tatlo lang ni Sam ang hosts eh hindi pa sila naguusap. Parang tagapagitna pa ang role ni Sam. Kaloka. Pareho silang host ng isang show pero may distance dapat dahil baka magalit ang fans. That’s very very wrong. Ang dapat nilang ginawa eh lalo nilang pinakita na A and Pat are comfortable with each other with the affirmation of Maine. I remember, nadulas si A kay Sam na nagtetext sila ni Patricia. Well, wala namang malice yun. Sino bang babae na BF lang nya ang nsa contact list nya. Kahit pa maging real-couple si A and M doesn’t mean na iikot lang buhay nila sa isa’t isa.

Ganun talaga siguro kung bago ang love team and at their peak. Di pa rin kasi nabibigay demands ng fans like, serye, or movie. Time will come that they’ll be paired up with others and fans will be okay with it.

Hi Jojo. let me correct some details. Totoo yung attempt ni A na ligawan si Japs. And yes, ayaw ng mother ni Japs. Japs is only a teen that time. Kaya nya in-unfollow si Julieann sa social media eh para tantanan na sya ng mga Julielmo fans dahil below the belt na yung pangbabash sa kanya. Sa case naman ni Elmo, si Pia actually ang ayaw sa kanya. Yes, I read some stories din about the attitude ng mother ni Japs pero so far wala naman akong nababasang testimony or rumors ng bad attitude ni Japs. You don’t need to degrade one para iangat ang isa. Di naman nya magiging kaclose si Marian at Aiai kung masama ugali nya. I’m not a fan of her to be honest. Di lang siguro maganda na dinedegrade natin ibang tao para iangat ang AldUb coz it’s very given that are admirable persons. Syempre darating din yung time na may bagong artista na darating at ayaw din nating makarinig ng kahit ano against kay maine

Just like yesterday at around 12:15 pm during the segment Just Duet, they were already showing what is happening in Kalyeserye.
Napakagaling umiyak ni Maine bilang Nidora kahapon habang nasa hospital siya at nagpapaalam siya kay Anselmo. Man, it was so painful.

Now, here’s my analysis regarding the fall of ratings of EB. I follow Nora Calderon’s tweeter and I also visit PEP so I have records in my mind of the ratings (AGB). I don’t base in Kantar. Not because I’m kapuso but because the numbers are really hilarious and unbelievable. hahaha. Don’t get me wrong, EB is still leading the battle, pero yung lamang ay bumaba na. Before TP, EB’s rating has an average of 30-32% rating for weekdays and 36-40% on Saturdays while ST is consistent of having single digit rating. For comparison, EB usually has 4 times the ratings of ST. Then, as the December holiday was drawing nearer, the weekday’s average rating fell to 27% and 34% for Saturdays. Then it became lower again in Christmas vacation when the episodes are all taped and other episodes are just throwbacks.
When New year came, KS is supposed to have a momentous comeback, but they failed. There was no story at all. Just a daily routine of PDA, cheesy lines, kilig jokes, and real-score hints of Alden and Maine. It’s like you already know what would happen tomorrow. Now, the average ratings for weekdays is 22-23% and 27-30% on Saturday. Still leading against ST but the comparison is now only double (no more 4 times). Why it happened? First, let’s discuss the demography of every fandom.
A. Solid fans (20%) = they are the loyal ones. They buy magazines, albums, collectibles, go to the concerts, avail seats in mall tours, spending their day in social media and news sites. Solid fans’ support remains even if their idol is no longer a hot item. They also consist of fans’ club. They will fight to death for their idols.
B. Fond viewers (30%) = Their support is like that of the solid fans. The only difference is that their support only lasts while the LT lasts. When the LT is no longer a hot item or not visible in media, they also disappear. In other words, their support depends on the visibility of their idol.
C. Program fans (20%) = they are fond of the show itself rather than the leading characters. They just want entertainment, that’s all. Their support lasts as long as they are entertained.
D. Bandwagon fans (30%) = Nakikiuso. :)) Because Aldub is all over my FB feeds, it’s talk of the town, my officemates are talking about it, why don’t I give it a try. After then, I already feel the same entertainment with them and I began to unleash the fan in me. Until I notice that my feeds about Aldub is getting fewer to none at all, it’s no longer the hottest craze in town, I began to lose my interest. In other words, their response depends on the response of fans in A, B and C.
Now here are the factors the I see to affect the ratings of EB:
1. STORYLINE = this is the major factor, I guess. Before tamang panahon, everyone is crazy about Aldub because of the “surprise/suspense’ factor. Eto yung time na laging bitin pag may busina at talagang hinuhulaan mo yung mangyayari kinabukasan. We are surprised and looking forward for more characters. There is really an explicit story to follow. After TP, nasustain pa rin naman like yung kay Donya Baba and Cindy. Pero yung mga sumunod na weeks ay naging routinary na lang. A Daily dose of kilig jokes, cheesy lines, PDA and real-score hints is good for the fans A and B. But for C and D, may umay factor. They want story and substance.
I think this is also the reason why KS is no longer covered in 24 oras. Remember what happened to OTWOL? It was soaring high until viewers realized na wala na silang napapanuod na kwento kundi halikan ng Jadine araw-araw kaya ngayon lumaylay na ang impact at ratings.
2. MAINE’s transformation = of course it is never bad. Maine deserves to showcase what she has. But there are viewers who loved the story where she is still a yaya. Filipinos love that kind of love story between a damsel in distress and a good-looking man.
3. Alden’s missing in action = one disadvantage that i see in KS is that the characters must be available everyday unlike in teleserye that 2 days taping is good for 1-week episodes. I’m not against A’s trips abroad. It actually helps Eb because he promotes GMA Pinoy TV and he strengthens the support of fans abroad.
4. Those fans/viewers that believe Alden and Maine is going to be real but realized na hopia pala sila, they had lost interest and left the show.
5. Those that are gullible sa mga paninira ng Brand-X.
6. UMAY-FACTOR. This is inevitable. Even the most remarkable and highest rating teleserye must come to an end. But the thing is, it must end in a remarkable and momentous way. Sayang naman kung matatapos kung kelan wala na yung support ng mga tao.
7. The EB is dependent on ALDUB. This is a very important thing that they have to work on. KS is only a segment of EB. Pwedeng mataas pa rin ang rating ng KS pero nahihila pababa ng ibang segment. The creative management must also think of remarkable segments at wag lang magfocus sa AlDub. This is the very reason din kaya pinapahaba pa nila ang story. Mapipilay ang EB kapag nagteleserye na ang AlDub. Pati nga ibang segments sinakop na ng AlDub. Naging extra na lang ang ibang hosts. Dapat nirereserve nila yung kiligan sa KS, hindi sa entire EB. May chance for umay and overexposure.
Alden and Maine are both talented. Either as LT or individual, I believe tatagal pa sila sa showbiz. They have lot of supporters. The only factor needed is the material na ibibigay sa kanila for their next projects. Yung story na remarkable at bigatin din yung cast. BTW, I’m sorry to offend some of you pero di talaga ako satisfied sa My bebe love. Then nalaman ko na si bibeth orteza pala nagsulat. Eh most of her works eh plain and simple lang. I believe Alden and Maine deserves more than that.

TV RATINGS do not matter to me.
ADVERTISERS are the only ones who care about the “ratings”. Of course the TV Networks care about it too.
A RATING of 99% or 1% doesn’t mean anything to me!
I SAID this before and I’ll say it again: The success of EB is ultra-rare.
A SHOW that can take my breath away is the best show for me.

Hmmm. yes to think na kaya sumikat ang KS eh dahil sa pangaral ni LN. Kaya nga sila nabigyan ng awards dahil sa moral values na pinopromote ng show. Diba nga fist date, no touch. Tapos bawal halik hanggat walang kasal. Pero ngayon sa story hindi pa naman magjowa si Divina at Alden, pero super PDA na. Naging fanservice na lang. Pero nonetheless, KINIKILIG AKO. hahaha. Siguro nahihirapan lang si Ms. Jenny magconceptualize. Hindi naman kasi talaga sya story writer eh. Creative writer lang sya ng mga segments sa eat bulaga. Eh accident na nabuo ang aldub. Too big to handle I think. Sana kumuha sila ng magagaling na story writer kahit as consultant lang. That would help a lot.
Pero gusto ko yung AnseRa ah, good thing they come up with that, kasi may story na na inaabangan ang mga viewers.

Yes!and since di pinapansin ang indie films natin(though aminado ko na di rin ako palanuod nun) sana maisip ng creative management na maginvite ng writers ang mga indie films, magconsult and magbrainstorm para makapagcontribute ng isang makabuluhang mensahe araw araw..sila na nga may sabi di araw araw kilig..Kaya nga naging exceptional sila dahil sa goal nila na un..so sana wag madefocus.Pero overall Bravo pa rin sila sakin.👏

Still A & M are the hottest thing in town. Kaya dapat may career planning na magaling.Maa magaling machinery ni Brand X and I wonder if they fantasize about how they will be handling this phenomenon if it is theirs.i wonder too. A&M both auditioned goe PBB and failed.
I love them both but I am more protective of M kasi dati na sa showbiz.si A. I am bothered by the bashing she gets from the haters.It is bordering on bullying na.I hope she is strong enough.She is indeed a moving target.People forget she ia only turning 21. My God,this must be overwhelming for her.
Ayoko na rin maging real sila for now.Complicated pa.After all,they met 5 years ago during the Candy Fair amd Fate btought them together again after 5 years.So rekax, what’s meant to be will work out perfectly. If Fate decrees otherwuse,I think they will still be connected d d they will always be connected yo us, the ADN who is the real phenomenon as one sociologist said.

Iba ang defense mechanisms n M..kawawa bully sa knya.hahah!Sarili lang talaga nya kalaban nya since day 1.

I just dont see M na need protektahan..maiinitimidate yan sa una pero kaya makipagsabayan nyan..mahiyain oo, mababa ang self esteem double check but she is a fighter 100% so why should I be over protective di ba? And just like you I am a mother of two..wala ako favoritism pero mas alalay ako sa anak kong mas weak at vulnerable, maybe that’s why I dont go over protective kay M..because I dont find her weak.

You know what? Personally i am happy na hindi sila natanggap sa PBB. do u guys think na they would be this phenomenal kung pinasikat sila sa PBB? most housemates dumadaan lang sa kasikatan and eventually nalalaos din. Ung sumikat lg talaga si Kim, Gerald,Samat James pero ngayun nalalaos na din. And madalas pa madaming nega sa PBB kasi people judge you so easily by what they see and hindi exception dun si Maine especially kasi introvert sya and i remember the interview of Maine’s friends na prangka daw syang tao at minsan masakit magsalita pero sinabihan nila sya kaya mejo nagbago na sya. I mean, she may be kind like many of the HMs pero tao din and may tendency na magkamali . Sa EB pumasok sya na may air of mystery, she was the suplada yaya turned nice na hindi nagsasalita and what is good kasi may air of mystery pa sya that got us all hooked. KS was so new and refreshing that we cant get enough of her. Researching her name, her blog, everxthing kasi nga puro dubsmash lang sya dati. I think yun din yung dahilan, maraming expectations ang tao sa kanya. Fans would say how nice she is, she is an angel, kind and etc although we didnt really know much about her that time buv many got disappointed with her actions and answers after TP. People forget that she is human, not the perfect woman they fantasize about her. if she was in PBB, she would have been well known for a while but she wouldnt have been phenomenal. Alden naman is a typical nice andl handsome guy na gusto makilala. How many handsome models na ba ang pumasok dun hoping to reach super stardom pero nawala din. Even sa GMA, hindi sya napapansin before KS. let’S face it. Iba ang magic ng KS at Aldub and first of its kind kaya hindi na dapat tayo magdwell pa sa PBB or nagsisi si Dyogi coz i dont think so.

Muntik na din ako maniwala haha kaso ang sabi 2 mos.na at manganganak sa July ( so 11 mos in all!) Early January yata ang chismax na ito.Fail.hahaha..Though sometimes,I am not impressed with people who mention God after each sentence.They can be the biggest liars..hahaha.
I don’th think this preggy thing is true.He has an aunt.and a cousin who twitted about this and seemed genuinely hurt about this tsismis and sort of denied it.I don’t think sasawsaw sila kung totoo ito.Of course magagalit tayo kung totoo..hahaha..After reading M’s latest blog entry..i will not worry about her na.Her heart is in the right place.She’s a tough cookie and she is very smart. Yung kinakapa yung navel ni M at yung tanggal bra move ni A ay hindi gawain ng isang gentleman, ang daming tao sa paligid nila napaka embarassing nyan para sa babae. A lot of people was turned off by A’s actions considering that he wants to project an image of a God fearing person and a gentleman.

By the looks of it,di natin ma confirm by angles eh,di natin alam after ng take or during sa backstage,pero alam nyo it takes a lot of gallon and amount of closeness na magawa nila na nag mamahalan sila on cam hmmmm di ko alam kung Gawain pa ba ng bff yun?kaduda duda naman para sa akin yun,yung both sasabihin nila na “were very good friends” and “getting to know stage” wag kami uuuuyyy!

Some points to share lang:
1.i don’t think totoo ang preggy issue. Siguro nmn A knows the repercussions for lying.
2.i agree that KS should not resort to ” stretching” but instead end it w/ a bang
3.the end of a KS is the beginning of M’s career in hosting at EB.ALDUB soap to follow at primetine.
4.i believe type talaga ni A si Japs based on the bts videos that showed how protective & caring he was w^ her & surprisingly nakikita ko ginagawa nya rin kay M. But thHe had so many superlatives for her but unfortunately hindi sila ang nakatadhana.
5.what i know is that Pat is the description of girfriend he would want to have kaya siguro may crush sya dati.However, his type of gf before in his 2013-2014 interviews somehow changed when ALDUB began.i am sure you have read some of his recent interviews.
6.in 2013 writeup he said ( he was not that popular yet) pr mapkilig ang audience he would kneel in front of a girl he chose from the audience and kiss her hand. He had knelt four or five times in front of M and the viewers were all kilig..w/ M i want to believe it was an honest spontaneous act.
7.I can see a strong admiration w/ the way A stares at M. If it isn’t the beginning of love i don’t know how to label it.
8.I am one of those who gets annoyed hearing A uttering ” joke lang lola” in successive scenes. Mabuti nabawasan.
9.I will just assume that soon RJ & M will announce their status.

Huwow! I love you @maineforever. Type ko na dito kasi that’s exactly what I said after reading your post. I do see an attraction both sides. What’s not to like/love about each other? I think nasa level up flirting stage sila… too touchy. Which means comfortable sila and may physical attraction talaga. My take on “joke lang” it’s somewhat of a cover up if that’s the right term. Downplay the real meaning kumbaga para di masyado obvious. Pero kung may forever or chance to be an actual couple… madami ribbon cutting.
About the kneeling, he’s done it to a fan and LDR. Saw the vids after TP. Medyo nakurot puso ko kasi recycled na. Sana nga may deeper meaning yong kay M.
