I’m entertained reading comments here again as before. If there is one positive thing we can derive from the recent mess, that is JF and KS team hopefully considering reformatting the entire show. Hopefully, they will do it as soon as possible (given the downward trend in ratings). There’s no harm in making a show that won’t reflect Alden and Maine’s relationship status and won’t make fans too emotionally invested with every move of then. That would be the most healthy thing to do as there are a growing number of fans that aren’t as invested with their real relationship status as compared to before. As a fan, I would want to see them already as real “actors” who do things normal actors/actresses do. This is particularly true for Maine. I want to see Maine as an actress proving to the world that she has the superstar material in her. Gone are the days I’m too keen knowing their status and so and so, because as an evidence-based person, I will only honor scoops directly from them… And that is something that is apparently not showing up in the near future or maybe forever. Who knows, I might be wrong in my last statement. 😉
Ang problem dian is… “Oh my god showbiz nadin si Maine” comments are coming :)))) But seriously, if Maine Fan-eys really want her to evolve in this entertainment world, let her be “showbiz-sy” with her words and actions.
For F’s sake 7 months na si M sa AlDub LT na ‘to. more than in EB… I don’t know san nakukuha ng iba yang weak ang heart ni M or she should guard herself from the showbiz bullsh*ts. Oh please, hindi tanga si M and she has alot of people around her to support her.
That’s why fans should grow up and evolve as well and not be trapped in the August/September vibe. Maine is in showbiz for a while now so I definitely get your point. Aldub, whether we like it or not is also in this evolution phase because they have to— proof that there is nothing permanent in showbiz or even in this world.
If you are a medical practitioner, it’s ok to be “medical-y”.
If you are an educator, it’s ok to be “education-y”.
If you are a tech geek, it’s ok to be “tech-y” (or techie?)
If you are scientist, it’s ok to be “science-y” (or scientific?)
If you are in showbiz, it’s ok to be “showbiz-sy”. Why are people making a big deal about Maine being one? Obviously, her craft & job does NOT require her to be like any of the four choices enumerated above. So to all the naysayers out there, CUT HER SOME SLACK!!!

@malthus… I agree that the dynamics of knowing how popular a star is nowadays is not solely dependent on the show’s ratings but on a “star’s” social media presence since we are now in the generation of the so called “millenials” who are now social media savvy. i watched the Bloomberg program “insight” where they discussed how market branding is done nowadays and how aldub has changed the trends in market branding. the marketing execs said that they have a specific dept that handles social media monitoring to check what and who is trending, and thats where they pattern the flow of their marketing strategies and advertising techniques. They said the more active a person in social media is, the most likely he will be talked about and become imfluential in setting trends and marketing ideas for brand companies.
Hence, i believe ALDUB’s bankability is not dependent on KS ratings alone but instead on their social media presence which is backed up by the Aldubnation who never fails to make the aldub hashtags to trend everyday and reach the million mark and their efforts of watching videos of Aldub tvc to make sure the videos reach millions of views as well, that alone is enough to propel aldub to higher heights of stardom and entice marketing execs of brand companies to get them as endorsers. Add to that is the constant social media presence of Maine thru her snapchats and BTS videos & photos of ALDUB TVC shoots which are feasted on by fans in IG, twitter, FB & youtube.
So i would’nt worry much on EAT BULAGA’s dip in ratings, let the EB staff worry abt them, actually they said they eat reports of ratings for breakfast since they know the results first way before they are posted by some social media accts. Besides they have been airing for the past 36 years, they were able to overcome Vice ganda/ its showtime’s heydays, how much more now???
I think the 20% ratings is fairly a good enough rating for them since it represents the loyal eat bulaga viewers who were watching the show not for the kilig that aldub brings but for the sheer entertainment eat bulaga offers. Let’s admit that the soar of the ratings was brought abt by the curiosity on the Aldub craze by mostly the so called “bandwagon fans” who joined the frenzy, and after tamang panahon, slowly people went back to the normal routine of their daily lives and many became team replay since availability of replays is just a click away, what remained were the “cult like” viewers who really enjoys watching EB as a whole. But of course we can not deny the fact that the seemingly wayward script lately of KS has in a way contributed to the loss of viewers and dip in ratings. I see people checking out their timeline in Twitter to get feedbacks on the show’s story flow which serves as their basis to watch thru livestreaming or replays at night.
Thus, i guess it is premature to be alarmed that ALDUB’s popularity might suffer bec of EB’s ratings since ALDUB’s clout goes beyond KS already… and besides a movie and a teleserye is in the works right?? Saw a cryptic tweet for mike tuviera from APT with whom Alden has a movie contract and Maine’s actual management team that they have been given the go signal and they are starting to form the team…
We are now on a waiting game, and hoping they come up with a good movie for ALDUB, with a well written script and handled by a notable director…✌️😍

Mahaba pa ang lalakbayin nila. If you actually look at the intensity of Aldub..mahirap itong malaos. NOT YET. NOT NOW. They are here to stay. Ganyan pa bang marunong sumayaw silang dalawa? not bad ang voice, Si Alden may award na sa acting, Maine is into comedy, plus ang ugali nilang dalawa and please let’s not forget their chemistry, yung destiny shiz nilang dalawa, and yung pagiging addict ni Maine sa social media. Itong lahat…yan ang dahilan kaya phenomenal at explosive ang tandem ng dalawa.
Nagsisimula pa lang sila. Sobrang bago pa. Hindi pa nga natin nakikita ang acting skills nila. Wala pang first movie together…andami pa talaga.
So kung ratings ng EB ang inaalala..hindi pa yan mawawala. Hangga’t nandiyan ang Aldub sa EB, mag aabang ang mga tao. Kahit pa wala na ang KS, mag aabang pa rin ang mga tao.
So I think they should focus sa mga quality projects na pwedeng ibigay dun sa dalawa. Movie na maganda ang storya at hindi nonsense na ewan.
@jilai.. and the TWAC was very revealing, it showed that there are indeed A LOT THAT HAPPENS BETWEEN THEM THAT WE DONT KNOW!!! particularly i was curious with the question sino ang marami ng nasakripisyo, they looked at each other and RFJ said cia…. and many kroo kroo moments on questions pertaining to relationship goals… Its as if they hesitate to give an answer kse it would be a give away na that they are in a relationship… It’s like reading bet the lines with these two…
BUT what was so on point was the question abt the valentines day, their answer that its just an ordinary day for the both of them somehow validates the fact why they did’nt have a date and had separate plans instead…I hope those who were angry about the NO VDAY DATE would be pacified and put that so toxic issue to rest. Take note the interview was done way way before vday!!!! What a way to end this day!!!! Happy day indeed!!! Way to go MAICHARD!!!!

I’m happy na kahit maraming kaguluhan ang mga naganap sa twitter world at sa ADN sa Vday eklavu ay si Meng nag enjoy sa pag roroad trip. Kulang na lang tumambling ang loka sa loob ng kotse niya. She really missed those days na nakakapag drive siya mag isa at nagloloka lokahan lang. So nice to see her having fun and enjoying herself lang. Ganoin.
The Tagaytay video made me feel a looooot of emotions. 😀 Nyemas!
I had to watch it 5 times so I can think straight and just know kung ano yung nararamdaman ko while watching the video. The moment I saw it and heard the music..grabe lang ang feels. Yung nasa isip ko while watching the video ay “grabe na memories at moments nila together.” That road trip will be unforgettable. It was their first. It was fun and that video made me think of the very reason why I am still part of this journey.
Tapos nakakaemotional na yung feeling na kapag hindi sila nagkatuluyan, para rin siguro akong nakipagbreak sa jowa. Baka mag flashback rin bigla ang mga moments nila together just like kapag nasa relationship. Jeez. Yun ang naglaro sa utak ko habang pinapanood ang video.
Sabi nga ni Maine sa tula niya, “Ano nga rin ba ang papel mo sa buhay ko?”
Ano nga ba? Andaming sagot sa tanong na yan at habang patagal ng patagal silang magkakasama..mas dadami pa ang sagot sa tanong na ito. Pero I would like to think na may mga sagot si Meng sa tanong niyang yan pero mukhang yung ultimate na sagot ay malalaman natin sa takdang panahon.
People come in your life for a season, a reason, or a lifetime raw. I believe they know that may reason talaga ang pagtatagpo nila. Kung for a lifetime or a season..ang panahon na ang magsasabi. Ang pagtatagpo nila 5 years ago at pagtatagpo ulit ngayon, mukhang pang lifetime ito. Ang swerte nila.
Destiny, fate, or whatever you call it is all this, lahat ng ito..lahat ng nagaganap ngayon ay parte ng journey nila bilang tao at bilang isang team. They will grow together and learn things together. At yan ang hinabi ng universe para sa dalawang ito. Kaya hintay pa more RFJ, Maine at ADN. Hintay pa. Hindi man lahat, pero may mga bagay na mas maganda ang epekto kapag hinihintay. May mga bagay na natutunan lamang kapag binigyan mo ng oras at resulta lang ng tiya at pasensya.
Hayaan lang silang magbloom at lumaki. Magulo pa lang ngayon dahil bago..nangangapa pa ang lahat. The delays, bumps, and trials are not the easiest part of a journey. It’s obviously not easy even sa atin dahil sumabay tayo sa journey nila.
But this is NOT the end. This is not the end. Marami pang magaganap.

All we can do now is wait and kapit lng tlaga and also pray na rin that they really open themselves on the possibility that they were really destined for each other, that meeting again aftr 5 years is not a senseless accident, but instead their lucky stars alligned and the “powers that be” have conspired for them to fall in love and live a blissful life together.
It is just heartwarming to see the roadtrip video coz it practically shows how beautiful the relationship ( kahit ano pang relationship) they have now… they are like caged birds na biglang nakawala and having the time of their lives.!!!! You can see the happiness in their eyes, lalo na si RFJ, kse we are used with maine acting like a child and having fun always, but i like seeing RFJ happy and unguarded once in a while…Nawawala un well groomed actor facade nia and he ends up looking like an ordinary 24year old young man.
Being with M really brings out the real RJ in him, hindi un ks alden na very reserved and calculating. I hope they can do this more often, roadtrips na sila lang, just ordinary people driving around and creating memories together… These kind of moments can help them bond together and really talk to each other and maybe RJ would finally find the courage to own up to his real feelings for M.
We don’t need to see the whole details of their roadtrips, happy na tayo sa 3minutes snippets of their journey right??? Coz those 3minutes speaks volumes of what they really have and what more they can have if they really just go for it!!!! 😂😭😭😭

For me this whole thing (aldub, the possessive fans, the good and violent reactions, the mediators and the brand x pakawala, eb, ks, lahat na aldub related) is a serye. It’s the best entertainment I’ve experienced so far. At first talagang affected ako but now I feel I’ve evolved into an spectator. I enjoy everything even the bad vibes. I will be following their story whether I like it or not. They have spawned their spell on me. Ang di ko lang masakyan some of M’s posts on SC. Everything else is must see tv.

Agree with all your comments. Forgive me if I turn into a romantic (or cheesy) with this one. The fact that they appreciate and acknowledge they were destined to meet speak volumes already. Fate presented it to them in the grandest of ways. It was as clear as ice – it is destiny, it is serendipity. Their chemistry is undeniable. Even if one is not in sight, we still sense the presence of the other. Their uncanny resemblance, how they mimic each other unknowingly, how they think the same thoughts and laugh at it when they realise it. My list could go on. It is also wonderful to see that their similarities and differences balance each other out. All these in only seven months, and three months of that, in a split screen. It take years for couples to be in such position. I am sure they are aware of it. You may call me delusional, but I believe that whatever adversaries they may face, whether or not they realise that their love is true and pure, they may separate for awhile, but fate will continue to bring them back in each other’s arms.
I chance to read a feed on FB awhile back, where a man lost his wife to cancer at an early age. After some time, met another woman on some dating site. It turned out that the woman was a childhood friend. And it was also a photograph they saw at their parents house that proved it.
Above are the reasons why I continue to believe and stayed positive. I will continue to do so even if they only end up as friends. At walang makakapigil sa akin!!!

Let me tell you a story too. Naks. I shared this sa AA n fb group na rin pero not so bonggang story. May tita ako, she’s 60+ years old, (tatanungin ko siya kung anong age niya na. XD ) na namatayan ng husband, cardiac arrest. Namatay yung husband niya two months after namatay yung nag iisang anak nila na lalaki. Yup. So imagine in one year..dalawa agad pinagluksa namin. After a year or two, biglang medyo may conflict na ulit and I was unsure why but then nalaman namin na she’s going out pala with another guy. haha. Napataas ang aking kilay because she’s old to date pa adn she was not the type..pero nalaman ko na yung guy pala na dinidate niya is yung first love niya. Well, their story was tragic or so she thought. It was your typical hindi gusto ng parents si girl story kaya pinakasal sa iba yung guy. Ganun nangyari sa kanila. They thought wala na talaga but ito ngayon..nagkabalikan sila. Here’s the catch, my tita’s late husband was Alexander and pati yung son nila Alexander Jr. My tita’s first love na ngayon ay kinakasama niya ulit..Alexander rin ang name. 🙂 Few years ago..nung naghiwalay sila ng first love niya, my tita mourned (for her broken heart) for a week. She only wore all black..parang namatayan talaga then she promised herself na yung lalaking sasagutin niya ay Alex dapat ang name. Yun ang nangyari talaga. 🙂
Back to when they met again, sabi ng Tita ko, when she saw raw her first love after sooo many years..parang bumalik sila nung panahong bata pa sila. Everything daw felt like the last time they saw each other (mga 40+ years). It’s that beautiful.

And that’s why I believe that Nicomaine and RFJ’s story is no ordinary story. This may not turn out exactly the way we/they want it but I know and I believe that the universe knows exactly what it is doing. And we are sooo lucky to be witnessing all this. We are soo lucky to be witnesses and be part of this story. Marami pa tayong nakikilalang tao dahil sa journey na ito.
There have been times when I got really disappointed and confused but I told myself na hindi pa ito ang katapusan eh. It’s too early to give up. And even if toxic ang mga bagay2x minsan..I couldn’t let go. Maybe adik talaga ako. So, I decided to sit and stick around and think. I don’t want to let go but I don’t want to be stressed out rin. Kaya naisip ko..I have to find a maayos at hindi toxic na lugar/pwesto sa lahat ng ito. So I decided to just listen to Maine and Alden’s words (enough of the scoops and clues whatever), enjoy KS as a show, hope for MaiChard’s forever, and get kilig and/or criticize in between kapag may ganap sa dalawa (REAL ganap). 🙂 I’m happy and enjoying this way. 🙂 Win-win. 😀

I know, we can never really tell kung ano ang katatapusan ng story nila A and M. I also believe that even though God has given us the opportunity, we are also given a choice to fully accept it or not. Kaya siguro pareho yung story natin. Pero in the end sila pa rin. It is the same with A and M. Kaya dI natin puede iinsist ang mga gusto natin sa kanila, kasi baka di yon ang tama. As we know, fate has a way of playing its tricks on us. However, I am certain that this is the time for these two souls to merge. The signs seems to be everywhere at kailangan na ng bagong Angel sa langit. Kung di man ngayon maging sila, alam di natin na sa tamang panahon magiging sila rin. #asapamore
I am also just enjoying the ride with everyone else. I do not expect anymore. I just love seeing them together. Siguro nakasanayan na rin, parati kasi hopia.
Hello repapips! I am offended by some of the comments here eventhough they were not intended for me. Why? Because I treated AlDub as my property. It is as if I own them. It is like my own property. It’s like when you bought a new shirt. You don’t want to hear people saying it does not look good.
I woke up at 2:30 am just to read the 200 comments being posted here. When I left this site yesterday there were only 300 comments but when I checked it there were already 511 comments.
After what happened, I realized that you cannot love Maine without loving Alden and you cannot love Alden without loving Maine. It’s like the marketing strategy buy-one-take-one.
AlDub is like a jealous mistress…kaya hiwalayan na ang asawa at pakasalan ang AlDub!

You are right, if you love M, you need to learn to,love her betterhalf A too even it you have reservations about A coz as they said they are a team and have professed their undying support for each other. Respect them and their decision to be with each other whether reel or real. Take note that A&M are still too young and a great future is ahead of them, they would stumble and make mistakes from time to time but i know they have the strength to get up and dust of every negativity and missteps they would encounter thru their journey…

There is no harm in giving pov’s be it negative or hurt pa more ang peg but learn to limit ourselves, character assasination and tainting a person’s humanity is a big NO NO for me, i just can’t sit back and relax watching others do that to A&M, coz they are not just characters in KS but human beings too, at the end of KS, they revert back to their true selves as RJ and Nicomaine who have a world of their own so different from KS.
We are trying our best to bring back the good old days of this blog, a sanctuary of Aldub/Maichard addicts exchanging objective, kilig, funny and hugot pa more pov’s without attacking A&M’s integrity as individuals bec they too deserve our respect, the same way we should respect each other’s pov’s here.

Been months in lurk mode. The once in a while nega comments were just fine but lately posts were kinda below the belt already. Read a comment something like Meng crossing over to the dark side and Tisoy being spineless and had no balls. It’s nice to see old tambays of this blog stepping up again and ala pulis kalawakan (Shaider!) guarding this blogsite which is my only sanctuary. Sorry, I’m old school, if you don’t know Shaider just try to google it na lang.

( pwede ba jilai??? nakikimember akech) kse i was visiting this blog since the early blog pieces pa ni sir vilo and i kinda witnessed how the Team AA was formed but medyo shy type pa ko nun so i did not have the guts to join… Hahaha!!! Besides i was happy just reading all the positive exchange of pov’s and eversince I was a Maichard shipper na. It was not an “all happiness and kilig” journey but i chose to stuck with what i see bet. A&M, kebs na lang sa mga nega.
I made sure din na i did not let myself be consumed by my admiration and almost bordering obsession with the two, i made it a point to continue with my own life after watching KS, turn the tv off and back to reality so that i can draw the line between pure love for A&M and dangerous fatal attraction. By doing so i get to see what is the reel and real relationship of these two young souls with an open mind to accept possibilities and disappointments as well.

This is what makes AlDub fans unique from all the other fan bases out there. We may drive each other crazy but at the end of the day, when all is said and done, Maine and Alden remain our loves.
Maine put it so eloquently… as long as Alden does not disrespect her, then all is well. Love and attraction can and will wane at any given time, but respect shouldn’t. That’s what we all want for Maine. And Alden, too. Pag walang lokohan, walang iwanan.

i have to hand it to M. She navigated the ALDUB ship through the storm and into the calm the past few days with 2 videos in a day. Her dubsmash driving alone on Vday shows she is a confident girl. She doesn’t need a man on Vday to complete it. It’s like telling the world, yes, i have my thing and he has his thing. I am happy and so is he. We don’t have to be together all the time to be happy.Her video of their tagaytay trip spoke volumes on their relationship- how comfortable they are and how happy they are together.
As long as these 2 kids can elicit this much emotion from a lot of people, this will be a never ending cycle. Brand X will always try to bring them down. The power they wield is like a two edged sword. It can slay the competition but can also inflict wounds to themselves with one false move. With what happened the past few days, i should not doubt them again.

M really wields a a lot of power. She got me to consider buying in Stradivarius, forever 21 – the brand she wears on Kalyeserye. Sadly,i just have to admit it is not age appropriate anymore. I’m 42. She is turning 21- half my age! Just a thought. why isn’t she wearing BENCH? she is supposedly an endorser…… I am sure tech savvy fans of hers would already be familiar with the brand which is only available online. There is no store in the Philippines yet.
Hi aagmmd220! Stradivarius is already available in the Philippines. There is one in SM Aura, Taguig. Speaking of A&M’s fashion, I see there are so many people nowadays wearing what A&M usually wear, ie: for girls checkered or denim polo in black leggings or distressed jeans & a white sneaker, while for boys, printed polos, skinny joggings & black airmax. I’m not sure if that’s the latest trend, or if they were the ones who made that trend. Not surprising ALDUB is trending in twitter & in fashion!

– I envision Menggay as a race car driver who alights from the cockpit of her F1-esque racing car, removes her helmet, flips her hair back & forth, and glides towards the pit stop while members of the male species with raging testosterones stare in stunned amazement! Then she puts her helmet down & flashes her signature 5th-grade wacky face!!! All these in slow motion! LOL!!!

Guys on twitter… I am a silent lurker in twitter and follow a few accounts which radiate good vibes and hilarious tweets. Like what others said, i highly recommend @broadway janitor coz of his witty and hilarious tweets, @Antonio Palaiz for intellectual & indepth analysis of A&M’s relationship and the KS good and faulty plot, the MC VAMPIRES who are strong defenders of ALDUB/MAICHARD who go after the bashers of A&M, for those who love fan fiction conversations between A&M follow @silent_shipper, she makes short poems and fan fiction conversations of A&M based on some scenes in KS specially the kilig ones. It’s like having a glimpse of what conversations A&M have off cam.
Following these accounts in a way will give you a clear perspective on how some fans react to the daily Eat Bulaga episodes and their opinion on A&M. The conversations and tweets range from being giddy coz of kilig from Maichard, anger bec of boring KS episode, confusion on what is the real status of A&M, hopia moments and most of the time ordinary fangirling/fanboying tweets about MAICHARD. No matter what topics these accounts discuss, one thing is sure and evident among them, they are all MAICHARD SHIPPERS like us and that’s what i love about all of them.They are also my source of information on the EB episode everytime i cant watch live coz they kinda discuss the episode daily thru their tweets.
Warning though, sometimes bec of frustations on KS, some tweets kinda boder on ” bad words and invectives” but most of the time invectives rain and dominate the tweets of these accounts due to OVERKILIG with A&M which really make me LOL everytime.
I think this week’s EB & KS episodes made the fans (and uzis as well) calmer. Specially after the TWAC guesting of A & M, sa dami ng revelations na napulot don. So tuloy ang boojie…este ligaya!
Anak nang ruler!! TWAC, “mamahalin kita hanggang sa huli kong hininga” all the while looking into D/M’s eyes , from Daddy Bae’s tweets: “fully charged”, “dapat altar yun e!”, “#ALDUBComingSoon sa akin now showing na”. ubos na! As in gasping for last breath na ewan ko na! Oh! And before I continue, to clear the question poised on the charge/percentage wise was the percentage chance of them actually being together NOT the percentage of love they have for each other (because I read in here somewhere, someone asking how can you only be 80% in love with someone).
On TWAC: please keep in mind that this interview was done on the last week of January, the eve of the People’s Choice Award, ADN was still fairly calm and collected – So, how many thought that it was not THE Alden Richards doing the interview but, what, maybe 95.9% Richard Faulkerson, Jr? And who wouldn’t fall in love with Menggay on her hearty and spontaneous laughter alone? This girl defies convention, her different and unique personality is what makes her a target for the bashers because they simply can’t figure her out therefore they resort to name calling and judging the person.
“Wag na lang baka may maparusahan pa” (not verbatim) – Igan said this regarding the separate fountain photos and asked what that was all about, was it planned? Interesting that he would make that comment which only added to my belief that certain restrictions has been made on the two regarding personal interactions off cam as well postings on social media, But I still give props to TWAC because, so far, this interview has been the most telling of how close the chickadees are (Ricky Lo interviews were a joke unless he was given a warning before hand on what he can and cannot ask).
Who is more jealous? This was one of my fave question and got the most laugh out of me only because Tisoy’s jealousy manifested itself again on a later part of the interview. His facial expressions were priceless and you can absolutely tell that he was totally jealous of Jake (I would say more so than he was of Vico).
The little side remarks and quips regarding some questions elicited a few guffaws from me not to mention the little swats from Meng……me be like, “Awww, how sweet!”. Same reaction when she would make the akma (is that the right word for it?) hahaha…. I cannot wait until next week for the second part, the teaser has me on kilig overload 😀 😀 😀

On to Daddy Bae and his tweets. Daddy Bae, Daddy Bae what your tweets did to me! When Ate Dub tweets, it was “Yaya”, I don’t think that she had ever referred to Meng’s name whenever she tweeted about KS nor have I ever seen her tweet naming “Alden”. It was either “yaya” or “sa inyo”. Whereas Daddy Bae’s tweets were indirectly/directly to his “mga ….”. Throw in a couple of tweets from cousin bae the chef and sister bae (again not directly naming Meng) and I had Tisoy and Menggay married off with 6 kids (with one set of twins), and a handful of dogs in the house that Tisoy had specially built for Meng. Their lives were chaotic, balancing 6 kids and acting careers but they were happy. Then that fateful December came. The Lolas and Yaya were kicked out of the mansion, KS Alden’s (or was it) invitation and pick-up lines to Laguna were sounding more and more real by the second. His expression would change whenever he would mention Laguna and me be like “Aluhluhluh Tisoy, anong mga banat yan at bakit ganyan ang mukha mo?”.
Dec. 7 – Yes magazine photo shoot – their first photo shoot TOGETHER (aside from MBL promo shoot) and who can ever forget BTS of Meng on top of a table replica of EB panel for JFA, where Tisoy took her hand and ran it across his hair,,,,emeged! Oxygen please!
Dec. 8 – a tweet of a welcome mat was Daddy’s Bae’s last tweet to his mga. And now he’s back and he’s been on a tweeting streak this week. Although, he doesn’t mention them at all anymore, just the little quips of “fully charged” which accompanied a picture of a battery with 100% on it. Tisoy said his mamahalin kita speech and last night Daddy Bae tweeted “”dapat altar yun e!” and then his tweet this morning had me thinking of their 6 kids again because the TWAC interview was still floating in my head and they were like an old married couple (“what’s mine is yours…..”).
Daddy Bae’s sudden quietness in tweeting about his mga has always been stuck in the back on my head. I just found it so odd and many of his followers asked him about it too but he never responded to them. It had me doubting Tisoy and his feelings for Meng, his God fearing ways, his honesty and his sincerity. But BTS of TVCs and photo shoots, his actions whenever they were together whether she was at Broadway or he at the barangay kept my faith in him, in the two of them. BTS of TVCs and photo shoots showed two people who were comfortable with one another and were just plain having fun. And what can I say about how he takes care of her when they’re together? Three words….Wall of Alden, I think that says a lot.
Meng in turn would give little touches of assurances, a pat here, a pat there, feeding him, wiping sweat off his face, assists him to make sure he doesn’t bump his head or the like. Every little thing they did for each other was all natural, as if second nature to them.
But through all this, the bashes, the negas, the finger pointing and what-nots, Daddy Bae’s abrupt halt in tweeting about his “mga” has me thinking that Daddy Bae holds the answers to all my questions.
And now Daddy Bae is back with his kilig tweets (and if someone dare say that it’s all part of damage control from the VDay debacle, save your breath or I will not be responsible for my actions…..chos! (maybe)).

Ano yon fan service din, they need not do it, A and M are already famous.

A book where I anticipate reading the next chapter, every little details dissected and analysed. A book where the ending is unclear. I may have assumptions of what it may be but I’m willing to be surprised. Why? Kahit anong katapusan ng librong ‘to, I can still say to myself ‘I have enjoyed reading it!’ At kahit ilang beses ko pa basahin, the feeling will remain the same.

The effect of the VDay fiasco is beginning to show – so so attendance at the Davao show of A ( Kaya pala wala akong makitang pics ng concert) tapos cancelled pa ang concert sa PHil Arena. Pano na Lang ang Dubai at Canada. Sayang talaga. I feel bad for A.
with all due respect, WTF happened to the place i used to come to for intelligent comments, negative or positive? ive been backreading and some of the comments from Vday onwards are just so plain, panfully stupid. like tardigrade-stupid. their arguments wont stand up in court, or even just plain old common sense. jeezcryst. worse is its just 3-4 people echoing off of each other like their having the most erudite and clever conversation, when really its just that nobody is pointing out they have no pants on, much less legs to support their own overinflated sense entitlement to voice out stupidity. keep track of the comments Sir Vilo. every published comment on here reflects on you after all, since you have veto power over all. im all for intelligent debate. its healthy. what i saw were arguments with more holes than swiss cheese. its disheartening what this blog has had to endure. please make it back to what it once was.
How can it reflect on him if he didn’t make the comments? He can not devote 24 hours of his life to this blog. I believe he is a student in Florida. So the time difference alone with the Philippines where most of the comments are from would make it impossible to monitor this site. He could put all comments on hold and publish them after reading but that will take a lot of time. We can only bring out our points of view, argue and have intelligent conversations. If you think the discussions are beneath you then start your own blog or join the FB intellectual group. Tandaan – iskuwater lang tayo dito. Vilo accommodated us. We can not demand more from him.
I agree there is much to be desired in the moderation of the comments, especially those around Feb 14. I did intend to keep those comments because I understood that during those stretch of days, aldub nation was in a state of confusion and hurt and people needed to vent their frustrations and rationalizations, however absurd some of them turned out to be. An outlet is one way to calm people down and theomelettestation provided that need, somehow, and so I take full responsibility for it and I humbly apologize to you and to everybody else that were either disappointed or outright outraged over the lack of judgment in some of those comments.
The good thing though is we are now slowly healing and hopefully we can make the comments section a great place for happy discourse and sharing of good thoughts again.
But I do need all of your help to make that happen. 😊

I admire how classy and straight to the point Meng’s tweet was. She has always chosen her battles and answers with conviction everytime her or A’s integity is questioned. I just hope people would leave them alone, they have been giving us fun and good vibes at the expense of their personal loves being invaded by overzealous fans and yet one wrong move and the bashers would feast on them like lions preying on innocent victims.

As the title suggests, theomelettestation serves both fresh and fried eggs to its customers. The comments being posted here can be divided into two. Those which are raw or narrow belong to the “fresh”section while those which are deep or steep are classified as “fried”. So let us enjoy the protein these eggs give us!. Am I right @vilo_velky?
It’s sad that we are now divided but it is inevitable. If you open your eyes and see what is really happening, you will see the truth. I want to see Aldub stay but EB made wrong decisions that affected KS. They thought KS fans are merely Aldub fans, there are the regular viewers, the solid M fans and A fans, there also people who got hooked in the story. People are no longer as interested as before. The ratings are stable at 20-24%, the likes and views of it.s replays are now about 1% of what it used to be. Of course them are still Aldub fans, the 1M tweets everyday. This is just pride talking, that ADN holds records. Is saddens me that once a great segment and the birth of a phenomenal loveteam go to waste.
Right now, the only mali sa KS is the boring plot na pwede namang palitan ng KS writers eh or they can end KS. Medyo harsh pero I think it will be beneficial for Aldub and the fans.
What’s wrong talaga is yung mga one-sided fans spreading nasty rumors about either Alden or Maine. What makes it worse is that other people believe the rumors even the lack of evidence. I am just wishing – praying even – that we all learn to take everything on social media with a grain of salt. Kasi sa kakapaniwala at kakainhale agad ng mga scoops and rumors without giving Alden and Maine the benefit of the doubt..nahihurt at nadidestroy natin ang ating experience as Aldub fans at nahihurt rin yung image ng Aldub sa atin.

i read somewhere na they might have a teleserye every saturday only. that would be great! at least it is something new…… maybe make it like the koreanovelas where the series runs for 2 to 3 months only. then another story. at least keep the new ideas coming. give us something to get excited about! not like the sitcom where there is no story or very thin story line.their guesting on Vampire Ang Daddy Ko was disappointing. well thought of ones. there are a lot of fan fics out there for their picking that are actually quite good.
i read at the philippine daily inquirer that A’s concert last night got cancelled because only 74 tickets were sold. ouch! the attendance in his davao concert was soso but i am not sure what that means. does it mean there were people but not as much?
i think majority of the people past their 20’s who are big fans of theirs are not at as vocal. they are not as gullible to believe the stuff but it still hurts. i think majority here are past their 20’s. we will be there for these 2. just give us something to get excited about……

They were pitted against a monster of a loveteam, Jadine.both concerts are on the same date. James, the other half of the LT, has regained top spot over social media with 100k more followers than Alden. Funny how for the love of AlDub, i followed the accounts of other LTs as well. @jilai…agree that KS plot is going nowhere nowadays. The past two weeks after the ansera arc was the worst episodes since ks runs for just 15minutes with no storyline and features jowapao and Meng singing karaoke style. We are lucky if we even see A&M talk to each other or even say hi to each other lately since there was no time left for them to interact during ks. It is like going back to the july-sep episodes wherein A&M has no dialogues and just use fansigns and dubsmash to communicate. Even Joey de Leon said “yun na yun” in one episode since nothing really happened at that time.
After the much celebrated Tamang Panahon, fans expected A&M’s interaction and adventures in KS to level up, even the storylines were expected to get better, but no, it never happened but instead ks went back to the split screen romance between the two and worse, the KS Alden & Divina was in a standstill with the fans losing its interest on them being a reel couple in ks.
I don’t know what else can the writers of ks and Jenny Ferre has in store for us, but honestly speaking most fans are annoyed at the seemingly deliberate efforts of the writers to stretch the ks storyline with senseless filler episodes. i don’t know why they cant seem to push through with making KS Alden and Yaya Dub a legit couple and maybe create a new story and adventures revolving around them being a couple already. In a way, the seemingly unrsolved relationship status of KS ALDUB is contributing to the frustrations & confusion of the fans with regards to A&M’s real or reel status coz their pick up lines and sweet banters sometimes blurs the lines bet reel & real hence the main reason for the bashing A usually gets from a lot of the fans.
What really frustrates me is the fact that A&M’s growth & potential to become great artists are being hindered due to their commitment to KS. They are made to prioritize ks for a mere 5minute exposure doing the same dubsmashes and 7 month old split screen interaction. I feel EB & TAPE is putting to waste Maine’s talents and potential to be an all around artist by just letting her portray her alter ego as yaya dub day in and day out for the past 7mos. They could have used saturdays to showcase A&M’s talents thru production numbers where they can sing, dance or host instead of just going thru the usual “mahal mo ba c yaya, kayo na ba”questions which is followed by the sooooo annoying ” busina” refraining any of them to answer at all then by monday the cycle of senseless episodes starts again.
I believe M has a lot to offer if only APT/Tape would lend her to gma. She can do guestings in gma’s different programs so she can build her confidence in meeting and working with different artists. Her TVC’s show a different persona, more of the real Maine than her alter ego yaya dub hence earning a millions of views in youtube. Toni Gonzaga who was once an eb host became so popular when abscbn got hold of her. She was packaged as an all around star who can sing, dance, host and ac at the same time, she became a household name and still a well known artist till today.
I envy Jadine’s career path since it is much better than Aldub’s. Even though they are viva artists lent to abscbn, they have been having good projects nowadays. A succesful teleserye, a sold out concert, overseas concert tours, album and an upcoming teleserye again in june and a REAL relationship ( inggit much, hahaha). If only gma and tape can do the same for A&M before the fans gets tired of waiting for worthy projects, lose interest and withdraws their support altogether. As of now a lot have left and a few solid MAICHARD fans remains but hanging on a thin thread of hope that someday A&M’s career will take a turn for the better.
It is just so sad to think that after 7months, the phenomenon that is ALDUB is seen just in tvc’s shot separately, and in KS Monday to Saturday where KS Alden is still in his lungga and yaya dub is with the lolas braving the crowd in the barangay. 😓😥😔
Loved your POV too. Im one of the few who are braving the storm and hanging on for dear life. I heard about JaDine too. Inggit din ako. They have a World Tour coming up while our two lovebirds are stuck in either Broadway or the baranggays doing pabebe. Buset na busina yan!! :)) But come to think of it, it took JaDine two years to get to where they’re at. I just hope that Tape/GMA can get their acts together and give AlDub the super stardom they both deserve.

Jadine now admitted that they are officially a couple. This took me by surprise since they have always been saying that they are just close friends and James had been photographed with other girls. There was an interview before at Kris TV where they said that Nadine is like an Ate to him. I feel that this is ABS answer to Aldub..considering the figures at the box office during MMFF. They probably saw the potential of these two being able to bring down our “manoks.” Whether it’s a gimmick or not, just like you I envy how their careers are soaring right now. Well planned concerts, teleserye and all. I have to hand it to ABSCBN..they are really the better station. We put our hopes and bets with GMA and EB but as what the other people have been saying through social media, sinayang nila ang Tamang Panahon. Now I understand why GMA’s talents leave them. I still pray that they package A & M the way they should be handled. Imagine from the start they already have a huge fanbase. Naghintay lang lahat..at maghihintay pa more..until we are all hanging by a thread.

I thought they love each other pero hindi nila alam. Yun pala..alam na alam. 😀

I have nothing against them, it’s just that A & M lang ang LT na binigyan ko ng ganitong attention (midlife crisis na ata to). It is really so frustrating the way things are going with EB and KS. And I agree, it’s been disheartening na. I know na there were times na nafufrustrate tayo tapos biglang babawi sa isang super kilig episodes before and yes…nakakahappy pero it’s tiring really. Like SUPER plain and boring episode then here’s ONE episode na magpoprove na may plano sila. It doesn’t prove anything eh. Hindi yun proof na naghahanda sila. It proves na may naiisip sila pero they can’t be consistent.
Plus yung super short na time ng KS..nakakaloka rin. i kennat. So ibig sabihin ba nito? mag aabang na lang tayo kung maganda ang feedback sa twitter dun tayo manonood ng episode sa Youtube? Ang sagwa lang diba na dumating sa ganitong punto.
And we are hating on them naman eh. We are like this because we love Aldub and KS but we don’t like what they are doing. We will be supportive fans but it doesn’t mean we will be okay sa lahat ng ihahain satin.
I hope TAPE/GMA learns how to handle and manage this tandem. They are phenomenal…pero yung pag handle sa kanila parang hindi match sa laki nila. Ganun.
Here is a food for thought…What if management is only going as fast as Maine is comfortable with? That maybe, just maybe, Maine is the one that is taking it slowly.
Remember she’s an introvert, she is uneasy going outside of her comfort zone.
We all want so much for her so we demand, push and bash. But keep in mind that this is still her dream. HERS NOT OURS! And we can only support her in her journey towards reaching it.
Several months back she posted on her IG a letter and I quote, “Kung wala pa man akong napapatunayan sa inyo, sa’kin maramirami na…at yun lang, sapat na. Sapat na din para masabi kong proud ako sa sarili ko. Way to go, Meng!”

If she quits tomorrow and walks away from everything, she would look at this experience as the best time of her life where her dreams came true. Would you be happy for her and say “She became more than she dreamed she could be!”? Or would you shake your head and say “She could have been so much more!”?
@kebs… Agree, Maine could be the one holding back, that’s why i said ” they could use saturdays to make production numbers that can showcase their talents in singing, dancing and hosting as well” so it can serve as a training ground for her, she has done that before during the bulaga pa more competitions and she sang during alden’s birthday and they did an amazing, gravity defying dance prod during the ansera arc. I don’t think a 4 minute song or dance number is too much for Maine’s introvert self.
I don’t expect EB/TAPE to immediately push Maine to do “concert level” production numbers or be featured in “award worthy/tear jerker teleseryes”, all i want and as i read from twitter, IG, most fans want is to see A&M do more than their pabebe waves and one liner pick up lines in KS, since at the rate it is going, KS seems to be losing its way with regards to its story line development.
It is just a pity that A&M’s career path has no definite direction right now and we are all in waiting whether they can transition from ALDUB, the KS pabebe wave lovebirds to ALDEN & MAINE as the consummate artists that they should be. I believe they have a lot to offer to us fans if only they are given the right projects and platform to showcase their talents. It is just a matter of giving them the wings to soar higher instead of caging them in a never ending (lately wayward) KS plot.

A 30 minute guesting of A&M with TWAC last wed was enough to make all the fans in a frenzy and make twitter explode with TWAC related tweets, how much more if they can do more of those guestings/ appearances so as incite fans interest again.
The past few days can be described as one of the “dark days”of ALDUB & the FANDOM, a lot of damaging issues are rocking ALDUB to its very core and making a seemingly irreparable damage to A&M personally and professionally. They are subjects of discussions not positively but on the contrary bec of the non stop negative issues coming out one after the other.
Their clout and popularity as the so called PHENOMENON is in question with the cancellation of A’s supposed phil arena benefit concert (i think he’s just a guest)which brand x fans are feasting on right now. Now all eyes are on the TNT MOA event featuring A&M, words have it that the said event is not yet sold out as of this writing ( event is on feb 26) so the vultures of brand x are waiting to pounce again on A&M and Aldub nation if ever they do fail to fill up the arena to full attendance capacity.
But amidst all these chaos, i stand firm and support A&M in this bumpy ride they are having right now, no amount of issues & mudslinging would make my unending support for these two waver at all. I love them to the moon & back and will be forever be a fan and looking forward to more years of ALDUB/MAICHARD as a loveteam be it reel or real.
Dont fret guys… We can get thru this… Our love for A&M and their magical lovestory would somehow stir them to their right path and maybe., just maybe, when the right time comes they can just turn their back from all of these chaos and finally have that precious moment to claim and embrace their destiny as two lovers RFJ & NDM, so blessed and meant to have their happy ever after…😘😍👨👩👧👧

I love both A and M and I don’t wan’t to be nega today but with the episodes since last week till today why do I feel like EB/TAPE is intentionally trying to diminish the popularity of AlDub? very minimal exposure and interactions and parang walang matinong participation and story. Why do I feel that there’s rift or politics inside and somebody’s working againts both A and M? What have they done to deserve this?

It’s just so sad na stuck sila KS. Kahit guestings man lang sa ibang show, wala. Nasa KS lang talaga. And for me, I doubt na Maine is the one na nagsasabing wag muna. :3 because I think she wants to be stretched and be challenged. When she got the Yaya Dub role, she said diba hindi siya marunong kumanta, umarte, o sumayaw pero lahat yun ginawa niya. Para siyang sinasapian kapag trabaho na.

We are not only after the uber kilig episodes aldub can offer though such should be a given already, but at least give us an entertaining, watch worthy ks episode naman diba????

The failure of ks and its writers to give the viewers a substancial and entertatining episode gives the nega and the “not so in their right mind” fans to focus more on A&M’s reel or real status hence the backlash on them. It’s really obvious that they are stretching this. Why not end it or just go with the rest of story tapos end tapos gawa ng bagong segment for A and M para hindi umasa ang mga manonood na about Divina at Alden ang mapapanood nila.
Today’s episode was flatter than flat. Empty sa empty. Parang timang ang mga viewers na naghintay. Ayun si Maine umoo lang at parang nagbigay lang ng conclusion tungkol sa ganap last Saturday. What is that diba? If they want to end this, end it. If they have plans…then ayusin rin naman ang KS. Jusmiyo.
Nakakapagod na rin tong kakareklamo ko sa KS eh. Hahahaha. Pero nakakainis talaga ngayon eh. Wala man lang patawa from JOWAPAO. Nakakasad rin na may mga fans na umaalis becoz KS is just so meh. I know may aalis talagang fans pero wag naman na nawala dahil kagagawan ng KS. Parang nagpupush sila ng mga fans away sa ganito.

@Mari Adora I thought of Toni G long time back, though I am quite settled na mukhang di naman magover da bakod ang Menggay natin..EB/TAPE was able to gain her FULL trust by giving her sense of comfort and security which is very very important sa personality ni M.I can sense M’s loyalty to EB/TAPE. She is learning and at the same time she is enjoying her dream..that makes her bagay sa EB kasi seems not work at all di ba..parang papasok ka lang para makipagharutan/biruan as quoted by Joey de Leon. Career wise, i don’t see hindrance on M’s part, totoong wala pa sya movie, teleserye, etc WALA PA, pero magkakaron for sure, yun nga lang para sa mga abangers na katulad natin NAKAKAINIP HA!! But if we try to consider and look on it on a brighter perspective..mas maraming opportunities na magrow at matuto c M hindi lang sa larangan ng pagarte but as well sa mga kaganapan sa likod ng camera. She is writing a novel di ba, loves editing and making videos so basically hindi lang pagarte ang passion nya. All they(EB/TAPE) need to do is to constantly delight her, surprise her and challenge her and she will definitely deliver something FANTASTIC baby!Ganoin!
As for KS episodes, story per se, I agree, it is leading nowhere,kung anung rason ng writers, sila lang ang nakakaalam, majority of the televiewers wanted KS to end but it seems hindi nila tatapusin dahil ayan pa din ang mga lolas (imagine they have to put on make up kahit na ang exposure nila will be around 15 mins lang..so para sakin maliwanag pa sa ulo ni Wally paninindigan nila na hindi nila aalisin nag KS. So for the meantime,,magtyaga daw tau sabi ni Ms. Jenny. hahha!
As for A, enough na ang prod number na sumasayaw..irita na ko utang na loob!!hahaha!Without a doubt, he is a great actor,,my gulay let him act enough of the pabebe!

I just wonder kung may PR Manager ba sila. Considering A and his managements are close with A’s fanclub members, bakit di nila na manage effectively what happened during VDay. Even after, these so called fans are still responding to comments and/or commenting on A’s behalf, which obviously damages their idol’s integrity further. What about long term plans? When Aldub phenomenon started, didn’t they consider the pros and cons of such phenomenon? Projects? Di ba dapat na perceive na nila kung anong concept ang nararapat saAldub/Maiden, there should already projects lined up from the start. And this include KS. Para kasing walang proper planning and walang timescale. Seven months is a long time to be stuck in KS and TVCs exclusively. In a business sense, it’s neither productive to the company nor the employee. And most especially, dapat na work out na nila their target market. Ok, it is a broad market pero I bet, the majority of us ay iisa ang rason kung bakit tayo nahumaling sa Aldub. They could have worked on that. Back to the negative issues, bakit kailangan nilang manahimik o bakit kailangan na manggaling kay A and M ang confirmation through their cryptic tweets. A statement from their management could have confirmed and stopped these issues.
They are of course the expert in this field, above are just merely my opinion.
@Perstaymer, A’s bod doesn’t really do it for me, but would welcome any chance of a viewing.
@K I can feel your frustrations..and the thing is what aggravates more is the fact that all of us (fans/supporters) are clueless of whatever plans they have for A&M. I don’t know if they are doing it intentionally (part of their strategy, maybe) or (i hope not) wala talagang pulidong plano para sa dalawa. Hindi pa nga nakakamove on ung iba sa pagooverthink sa Reel or Real score between the two..madadagdagan pa ng another issue if A&M’s career is mismanaged or not. Malamang nito kukulot nanaman ang 3 1/2 pcs na bangs ko sa kaganapan ngayon!
@Perstaymer disheartening kasi yung mga nangyayari ngayon. Di pa talaga sila naguumpisa as a fully pledge loveteam parang end game na kaagad. They have so much potential. If they need to hire all the experts in show business gawin dapat nila, in order to maintain ang status ng Aldub. I also thought na maybe marketing ploy lang, pero wrong strategy. Parang di sila nakikinig sa ADN/viewers. I also noticed that EB is presently testing the waters. Pabago bago ang segments nila in a space of a few weeks. Sorry kung ganito na sya before pa, di kasi me nanonood before. With this new storyline, di pa nga sinasagot ng matamis na oo, kasalan agad. Are they also going to prolong this? I feel you. Sobra. 7 months pa lang and too many fans left already. And the sad part? yung mga imalis na fans just did not want to endure the pain of seeing KS becoming lame. It’s painful to watch sometimes. Naku, remember January? may episodes talaga na ewan ko kung saan na papunta then they used KS to make bulyaw sa mga fans for being judgemental and all dahil nagrereact sa Jake arc nila na super crappy and made Yaya Dub look easy to get. :3
It’s sad that they weren’t able to manage this phenomenon well. Kasi we were expecting “Oh my gosh. tuloy tuloy na ito.” Why not diba? both kids are good and super talented pa.
Maine is all out and does her best all the freaking time. Kahit nga feel niya hindi niya kaya, ginagawa niya eh.

When TP happened, when they saw 55,0000+ seats na may fans and 41M tweets..they should have made GOOD plans for Aldub already. That massive crowd..hirap kunin eh. Hirap makuha. Once in a blue moon. Sana nag effort na pagandahin ang lahat, sinolido sana ang mga bagay2x pero wala eh. Kahit hindi man super intense pa rin ng craze..at least sana wala o konti lang mawawala diba?
but what happened is that andaming nawala…and we can’t blame them becoz KS has been really crappy after tamang panahon.
They can say all the alibi and reasons they have pero kitang kita talaga yung kawalan ng plano eh. I really thought they made SMART plans. Grabe.
And then I hate it when I’m answered “They already made history, there’s nothing to prove na.” Oh no, there’s nothing to prove na I know pero wag naman pabayaan na lang diyan na parang kusa na lang yan maggogrow. Jusmio lang.
Why are we being critical now? Because we are all secure sa MaiChard and both concerned sa career ng dalawa kaya tinitingnan na natin ang ibang aspeto ng lahat ng ito: KS plot, career growth ng Aldub, management, at iba pa. And we do not like what we are seeing. And we can’t just sit and watch and waste our electricity watching something na hindi mo alam kung anong tawag. I can’t just blindly say “okay lang to. May plano naman yata ang EB eh. Baka may surprise sa Sabado.” Ganun? Love is blind lang? hahaha.
May karapatan ba tayong mag demand? I don’t think we have that right. But we do have the right to be disappointed at ito ang opinion ng mga tao. If they don’t want to consider the opinions of the fans or don’t want to try to look at the things na pinopoint out ng mga fans…I don’t know what that makes them.
Sana wag nilang kalimutan na may mga fans silang dinadissect ang lahat ng aspeto ng lahat ng ito at wagas magsabi ng opinion. Kung nagawa nilang ipraise at pakinggan ang mga ganyang fans noong bago pa ang KS, pahalagahan rin nila ngayon.
If they have plans, they better inform the fans about those plans. Baka sa tagal ng plano nila, napagod nang maghintay ang iba.
@Jilai my sentiments exactly. I will assume na maybe this is new to them and they are used to conventional way of management. I do think we have the right to demand kasi we are the consumers/viewers. This is the new millennium. They are so lucky that the biggest and most successful social media company like Twitter is behind them and the success of #Aldub. There are so many things they can do with this goldmine. Grabeh! Sinasayang nila. Sometimes I think M might even have the knowledge she can share to her management on how to manipulate these platforms. She is already doing it. With her snapchats, the video she edited, blog, etc. Their USP is M (sorry A, we must admit, M’s exposure to the Internet (and of course her personality) has added to Aldub’s popularity) and their closeness to their followers. This is what sets them apart sa competitors. Their market is within their grasp. Marketing experts worldwide would pay millions to have what they have. The demographic and diversity is vast. I may still be wrong, maybe they are brewing something behind the scene. They just need to act immediately before maumay na and majority.
Ewan ko ba, siguro gusto ko lang na magpatuloy ang demand ng Aldub/Maiden/MaiChard. I want them to surpass yung popularity ng ibang personalities sa Pilipinas not just nationally but internationally, too.
Sorry if my comment above have digressed a little. What I’m really trying to imply is kung magpatuloy ang KS ng ganito, baka mas marami pa ang bumitaw. Then their presence in social media may slow down, which is sayang.

In regards to their PR management: totally agree. Yun bang feeling na bago ba sa industry yung management of both A and M or so overwhelm lang sila talaga sa dalawang ito that they have no idea how to proceed. As I was reading comments from everyone above, I was itching to call the William Morris Agency or CAA here in LA at ibandera sina Menggay at RJ…..

I tried to give KS writers the benefit of the doubt and hoped that Jenny Ferre still have some tricks up her sleeve in coming out with better concepts/plot for ks, but it isn’t the case , since january ks has been on a downhill trend and A&M’s growth & promising career is at stake.
I just wish it’s not yet too late… They were dubbed as a once in a lifetime PHENOMENON… It would break my heart to see them fade away and just be a memory of the past coz of mismanagement and power tripping of some people around them. 😏😔😪

Huwaw!! When I last posted there was about 500+ comments, what happened to everyone over the weekend??? I haven’t had a chance to back read but from glancing through the comments, consensus seems to be frustrations over the KS storyline or lack thereof. Of which I totally agree. I’ve posted comments in IG that EB needs to stop needling/nagging KSA AND RJ regarding his feelings for Divina/Maine. They need to get pass all of that and move on with the KS storyline. If they’re not going to let them spread their wings with a teleserye or movie and just keep them at EB then they need to step up their A-game. The Ansera arc was a really nice change and show that they have good writers on staff. I love the spontaneity that the no script brings but they need to give JoWaPao and the chickidees direction on how the storyline should go. So many things have transpired in the beginning that they had forgotten: what’s in the diary about KSA that Lola N did not want him for Divina in the beginning, they touched on the ring last night but now seem to be introducing the maghuhula that Mama met in Paris (which should be good but I still feel that the writers need to look back on past episodes and try to connect the storyline for continuity), KSA has met Divina’s 3 conditions, what now?, what’s happening with the Lola’s trying to get the mansion back? Oh! And can they give KSA a bit of a spine, I feel that sunod sunurin na lang sya. Yes, he has done the challenges pero ewan ko, parang he should be able to do more in terms of trying to get the mansion back from his Lola B. As I said I love the spontaneity of KS but they need to stop going around in circles with the story and get on with it or they’ll be losing more than just the audience and ADN followers 😦 OK, I’ve vented, will back read now.
It shows talaga na ang mga pinoy ang may pinaka mahirap na audience/viewers to deal with para sa mga performers either imported or local artist,very difficult to please lahat. I understand yung mga constructive criticism ng mga iba dito sa atin,pero maski saan categories eh may mga handlers yan or coaches na kailangan nila sundin. Doon umiiral ang discipline and professionalism ng bawat talent. Huwag natin pangunahan yung mga writers kung ano yung next set of scenes ng program,kasi mas naniniwala parin ako na sila ang may mas nakakaalam kung ano yung right time para ilagay sila sa next level to soar high ika nga,alam din nila kung hinog na hinog na sila sa workshop,let us continue to be a keen observer sa KS. Ako ayoko ko ng matawag sila as ordinary love team or tandem kagaya ng iba dyan,Hindi sila cheap guys phenomenal silang dalawa. Kaya pinag aaralan mabuti ng management kung ano yung best project,movies,appearances na ibibigay sa kanila,being a fan of ALDUB it takes a lot of gallon/drum of patience ,understanding and most of all love para suited ka sa kanila,kung Hindi nyo ma apply ang mga qualities na yun,baka siguro Hindi kayo legit na fan para sa kanila baka sa ibang artist siguro,opinion ko lang po,thanks.
@Jojo Hindi sa pinangungunahan ko ang mga writers, all I’m trying to say is that they need to stop going around in circles with the KS storyline. IMO – they so want the unscripted spontaneity that they forget they should have a flow in the KS storyline as well. If their intention is just a day to day skit of JoWaPaoMeng with Alden then they should stick to that and not bounce all over the place with the KS story as it is now I still think that JoWaPaoMeng and Alden can be spontaneous even with a script as was proven with the Ansera arc. If they don’t want to work with a script then they should at least brief them before hand on how they should handle the show for that day not give them instructions on the spot. I’m team abroad so I live stream 95% of the time and I watch on my cellphone so I have earphones on. I can’t tell you how irritating it is sometimes when you hear the instructions from the writers on what they should do next especially with Alden. It’s those little instructions that can be heard that adds fuel to the fire on how RJ really feel about Meng.
I also hate that they are being compared to any/all LTs (specially now that JaDine has confessed on a real relationship). People forget that JaDine have had a couple of years together, RJ and Meng have a couple of months (and I’m not counting pre-TP).
The AlDub/RJ and Meng phenomenon has hit the Philippines like nothing ever before. They are not your run-of-the-mill love team and I think that they should stop treating them as such. Hindi na orient ang EB, ang GMA, and TAPE at lahat nang taong involve sa kanila. It has been 7 months, I’m hoping that by now, na orient na silang lahat on how to handle and manage the chickidees’ career. They are slowly but surely starting to capture international recognition as well and I really pray to God that all involve in managing their careers are prepared for it. Am I expecting too much? Why, yes. Yes I am. I not only want these two to be together forever but career wise I want Hollywood status for them…GANOIN!! 😀 I would really hate for them to just fall on the wayside because their management companies have no idea on what to do with them and the popularity that they’ve garnered thus far.
I second the motion.. I am in the same boat as you. I watch the replay on my phone with earphones at work whenever I can and could really hear loud and clear the instructions coming from floor directors. In one episode where they went to the rooftop where Alden had flowers as a surprise, a lot of fans thought M knew nothing about it when actually before A opened the door you could hear someone said “yung flowers mo.” I realized those are not so audible on TV that’s why.

I respect your opinion. Ito naman sakin. Some of the comments are constructive because they are not bashing and just plain hate comments.
When a criticism is given to a certain work of art, it doesn’t mean na pinapangunahan na yung artist or gumawa nun. May criticism kasi merong observation, may opinion, may ideas from other people na posibleng hndi nakita ng mismong gumawa nun. It’s like presenting the different side of things. Hello from the other siiiiidddeee ang peg. 😀 hahaha.
It’s like telling EB na “ito yung nakikita namin from here and ito yung nararamdaman ko habang pinanood yung gawa mo. May kulang, may hindi ko gusto, may something na mali. But that’s just me.” Now, it’s up to the writers if they will stick to their plans or consider kung ano mang narinig nila from the people. It is still up to them and tayo? all we can do naman is observe and wait as usual.
And why the discontent sa mishandling? because people are just plain not contented. When you have a phenomenal loveteam sa iyong pangangalaga, you have to utilize it. Sabi nga diba madaling pumasok sa showbiz pero mahirap magstay. How do you stay? You work on it every day. You don’t just say “I will give you ugly performances now because I have good plans for the future. ^Javiman really? Maybe special guesting lang… I read from lionhearttv (are they reliable?) that producers cancelled it due to poor ticket sales. Only 74 out of 55k, and katapat ng JADINE which was already sold out. Phil Arena is still too huge of a venue to stage something like that, knowing that the artists are not really the best singers out there, nor those whom you can expect numbers with special effects & costumes. The producers were solely relying on the fanbase..
They erased everything. And then the hacker unfollowed all her following. After several hours, they apologized, asked Alden to DM them for the password and then followed Alden on IG.
They know that Maine could care less about what reporters and bashers say about her. So they chose to hit her where it would hurt the most, by erasing her beloved pictures. How cruel can some people be?
These are one of the consequences she needs to endure in exchange of being famous. I just wonder what the motive is this time. Mukhang wala naman pinaglalaban tong hacker na to unlike anonymous ph. Tsk tsk tsk.
I know getting hacked is a terrible thing to happen to anyone. Sorry but I find it both funny and sad how extreme some of the reactions are on twitter – some bordering on being OA. Some want NBI to get into this as if national security has been breached. Some are calling for death penalty for the hacker. I mean, true it is reprehensible that M was hacked but come on – she was not kidnapped or anything. I bet that she can still recover those pics if she asks ADN to share her the pics they copied/downloaded from her account. I am glad she asked people to sleep and told them she was fine. I hope she recovers those pics tho and the the hackers are penalized (hopefully, not death penalty). Ganito kabaliw ang ADN. The silver lining about this is that looks like the nation is uniting again. Kailangan lang ng common enemy.
@Funny Girl – Such is the fandom that is ADN. We range from the ultra conservative (hides their admiration (and kilig) for AlDub) to the extremists (those calling for death threats (OA ba kamo? But, of course! We would not be part of ADN if we didn’t have some in us…hahaha). We all hope that Instagram will be able to recover her account and all of her pictures (I’ve heard that they’ve been able to do so before for another celeb). And yes, was it not awesome of bibi girl to send out that tweet? She knows how to calm ADN without further inciting them 😀

The magic of KS is Aldub, the Lolas, Filipino Traditions, Lessons and Laughter. A 30 minute slice of heaven in a day filled with problems and hardships. Where we can all just let go and laugh (or cry, whatever the case may be).
When people overthink things, they take out the joy of being completely taken by surprise. Some people just needs to take a chill pill and learn to enjoy and appreciate KS with no expectations.
A lot of people want to separate Maichard from Aldub. Isn’t that what the writers are doing now? We see Alden caling Maine, Divina in KS all the time now. Completely driving in the point that Alden and Maine are separate from Alden and Divina. So much for the real/reel angle!
A lot of people wants a Teleserye from Aldub. But isn’t that what the writers are doing right now? Walang pickup lines. Walang spontaneous na lambingan. Walang inside jokes. Halos wala na ngang Dubsmash. Everything and everybody is following a script. How are you liking this set up?
A month ago, several people suggested to take out sugod bahay from KS, so there would be no more interruptions during the KS segment. Little did everybody know that it would eat up more from the KS time slot.
What I’m pointing out is that we, the fans, have complained. And in one form or another, got our wish granted, but we are still not happy.
I am a fan of Kalyeserye. And I am angry at the know-it-alls out there who thinks they know better than the writers of the show. Kung nakukulangan kayo o nauumay, marami sa amin na hindi pa. Pwede ba kung hindi na kayo masaya, wag na lang kayo manood. You are spoiling it for the rest of us who just wants to enjoy the show and take a break out of life.

I’m entertained reading comments here again as before. If there is one positive thing we can derive from the recent mess, that is JF and KS team hopefully considering reformatting the entire show. Hopefully, they will do it as soon as possible (given the downward trend in ratings). There’s no harm in making a show that won’t reflect Alden and Maine’s relationship status and won’t make fans too emotionally invested with every move of then. That would be the most healthy thing to do as there are a growing number of fans that aren’t as invested with their real relationship status as compared to before. As a fan, I would want to see them already as real “actors” who do things normal actors/actresses do. This is particularly true for Maine. I want to see Maine as an actress proving to the world that she has the superstar material in her. Gone are the days I’m too keen knowing their status and so and so, because as an evidence-based person, I will only honor scoops directly from them… And that is something that is apparently not showing up in the near future or maybe forever. Who knows, I might be wrong in my last statement. 😉

Aldub, whether we like it or not is also in this evolution phase because they have to— proof that there is nothing permanent in showbiz or even in this world.

@malthus… I agree that the dynamics of knowing how popular a star is nowadays is not solely dependent on the show’s ratings but on a “star’s” social media presence since we are now in the generation of the so called “millenials” who are now social media savvy. i watched the Bloomberg program “insight” where they discussed how market branding is done nowadays and how aldub has changed the trends in market branding. the marketing execs said that they have a specific dept that handles social media monitoring to check what and who is trending, and thats where they pattern the flow of their marketing strategies and advertising techniques. They said the more active a person in social media is, the most likely he will be talked about and become imfluential in setting trends and marketing ideas for brand companies.
Hence, i believe ALDUB’s bankability is not dependent on KS ratings alone but instead on their social media presence which is backed up by the Aldubnation who never fails to make the aldub hashtags to trend everyday and reach the million mark and their efforts of watching videos of Aldub tvc to make sure the videos reach millions of views as well, that alone is enough to propel aldub to higher heights of stardom and entice marketing execs of brand companies to get them as endorsers. Add to that is the constant social media presence of Maine thru her snapchats and BTS videos & photos of ALDUB TVC shoots which are feasted on by fans in IG, twitter, FB & youtube.
So i would’nt worry much on EAT BULAGA’s dip in ratings, let the EB staff worry abt them, actually they said they eat reports of ratings for breakfast since they know the results first way before they are posted by some social media accts. Besides they have been airing for the past 36 years, they were able to overcome Vice ganda/ its showtime’s heydays, how much more now???
I think the 20% ratings is fairly a good enough rating for them since it represents the loyal eat bulaga viewers who were watching the show not for the kilig that aldub brings but for the sheer entertainment eat bulaga offers. Let’s admit that the soar of the ratings was brought abt by the curiosity on the Aldub craze by mostly the so called “bandwagon fans” who joined the frenzy, and after tamang panahon, slowly people went back to the normal routine of their daily lives and many became team replay since availability of replays is just a click away, what remained were the “cult like” viewers who really enjoys watching EB as a whole. But of course we can not deny the fact that the seemingly wayward script lately of KS has in a way contributed to the loss of viewers and dip in ratings. I see people checking out their timeline in Twitter to get feedbacks on the show’s story flow which serves as their basis to watch thru livestreaming or replays at night.
Thus, i guess it is premature to be alarmed that ALDUB’s popularity might suffer bec of EB’s ratings since ALDUB’s clout goes beyond KS already… and besides a movie and a teleserye is in the works right?? Saw a cryptic tweet for mike tuviera from APT with whom Alden has a movie contract and Maine’s actual management team that they have been given the go signal and they are starting to form the team…
We are now on a waiting game, and hoping they come up with a good movie for ALDUB, with a well written script and handled by a notable director…✌️😍

Mahaba pa ang lalakbayin nila. If you actually look at the intensity of Aldub..mahirap itong malaos. NOT YET. NOT NOW. They are here to stay. Ganyan pa bang marunong sumayaw silang dalawa? not bad ang voice, Si Alden may award na sa acting, Maine is into comedy, plus ang ugali nilang dalawa and please let’s not forget their chemistry, yung destiny shiz nilang dalawa, and yung pagiging addict ni Maine sa social media. Itong lahat…yan ang dahilan kaya phenomenal at explosive ang tandem ng dalawa.
Nagsisimula pa lang sila. Sobrang bago pa. Hindi pa nga natin nakikita ang acting skills nila. Wala pang first movie together…andami pa talaga.
So kung ratings ng EB ang inaalala..hindi pa yan mawawala. Hangga’t nandiyan ang Aldub sa EB, mag aabang ang mga tao. Kahit pa wala na ang KS, mag aabang pa rin ang mga tao.
So I think they should focus sa mga quality projects na pwedeng ibigay dun sa dalawa. Movie na maganda ang storya at hindi nonsense na ewan.

@jilai.. and the TWAC was very revealing, it showed that there are indeed A LOT THAT HAPPENS BETWEEN THEM THAT WE DONT KNOW!!! particularly i was curious with the question sino ang marami ng nasakripisyo, they looked at each other and RFJ said cia…. and many kroo kroo moments on questions pertaining to relationship goals… Its as if they hesitate to give an answer kse it would be a give away na that they are in a relationship… It’s like reading bet the lines with these two…
BUT what was so on point was the question abt the valentines day, their answer that its just an ordinary day for the both of them somehow validates the fact why they did’nt have a date and had separate plans instead…I hope those who were angry about the NO VDAY DATE would be pacified and put that so toxic issue to rest. Take note the interview was done way way before vday!!!! What a way to end this day!!!! Happy day indeed!!! Way to go MAICHARD!!!!

This is what i like abt interviews and aldub Q&A outside KS coz you see their raw reactions and real answers that is not dependent on the restrictions of the script they follow, walang pasulyap na tingin kay jenny ferre before they answer, very refreshing un reactions nila and honest ung mga answers… twitter is ablazed with the RFJ’s comment that Meng brings her phone even while taking a bath, question is “bakit mo alam RJ na dala nia sa pagligo???? I’m happy na kahit maraming kaguluhan ang mga naganap sa twitter world at sa ADN sa Vday eklavu ay si Meng nag enjoy sa pag roroad trip. Kulang na lang tumambling ang loka sa loob ng kotse niya. She really missed those days na nakakapag drive siya mag isa at nagloloka lokahan lang. So nice to see her having fun and enjoying herself lang. Ganoin.
The Tagaytay video made me feel a looooot of emotions. 😀 Nyemas!
I had to watch it 5 times so I can think straight and just know kung ano yung nararamdaman ko while watching the video. The moment I saw it and heard the music..grabe lang ang feels. Yung nasa isip ko while watching the video ay “grabe na memories at moments nila together.” That road trip will be unforgettable. It was their first. It was fun and that video made me think of the very reason why I am still part of this journey.
Tapos nakakaemotional na yung feeling na kapag hindi sila nagkatuluyan, para rin siguro akong nakipagbreak sa jowa. Baka mag flashback rin bigla ang mga moments nila together just like kapag nasa relationship. Jeez. Yun ang naglaro sa utak ko habang pinapanood ang video.

Ano nga ba? Andaming sagot sa tanong na yan at habang patagal ng patagal silang magkakasama..mas dadami pa ang sagot sa tanong na ito. Pero I would like to think na may mga sagot si Meng sa tanong niyang yan pero mukhang yung ultimate na sagot ay malalaman natin sa takdang panahon.
People come in your life for a season, a reason, or a lifetime raw. I believe they know that may reason talaga ang pagtatagpo nila. Kung for a lifetime or a season..ang panahon na ang magsasabi. Ang pagtatagpo nila 5 years ago at pagtatagpo ulit ngayon, mukhang pang lifetime ito. Ang swerte nila.
Destiny, fate, or whatever you call it is all this, lahat ng ito..lahat ng nagaganap ngayon ay parte ng journey nila bilang tao at bilang isang team. They will grow together and learn things together. At yan ang hinabi ng universe para sa dalawang ito. Kaya hintay pa more RFJ, Maine at ADN. Hintay pa. Hindi man lahat, pero may mga bagay na mas maganda ang epekto kapag hinihintay. May mga bagay na natutunan lamang kapag binigyan mo ng oras at resulta lang ng tiya at pasensya.
Hayaan lang silang magbloom at lumaki. Magulo pa lang ngayon dahil bago..nangangapa pa ang lahat. The delays, bumps, and trials are not the easiest part of a journey. It’s obviously not easy even sa atin dahil sumabay tayo sa journey nila.
But this is NOT the end. This is not the end. Marami pang magaganap.

All we can do now is wait and kapit lng tlaga and also pray na rin that they really open themselves on the possibility that they were really destined for each other, that meeting again aftr 5 years is not a senseless accident, but instead their lucky stars alligned and the “powers that be” have conspired for them to fall in love and live a blissful life together.
It is just heartwarming to see the roadtrip video coz it practically shows how beautiful the relationship ( kahit ano pang relationship) they have now… they are like caged birds na biglang nakawala and having the time of their lives.!!!! You can see the happiness in their eyes, lalo na si RFJ, kse we are used with maine acting like a child and having fun always, but i like seeing RFJ happy and unguarded once in a while…Nawawala un well groomed actor facade nia and he ends up looking like an ordinary 24year old young man.
Being with M really brings out the real RJ in him, hindi un ks alden na very reserved and calculating. I hope they can do this more often, roadtrips na sila lang, just ordinary people driving around and creating memories together… These kind of moments can help them bond together and really talk to each other and maybe RJ would finally find the courage to own up to his real feelings for M.

For me this whole thing (aldub, the possessive fans, the good and violent reactions, the mediators and the brand x pakawala, eb, ks, lahat na aldub related) is a serye. It’s the best entertainment I’ve experienced so far. At first talagang affected ako but now I feel I’ve evolved into an spectator. I enjoy everything even the bad vibes. I will be following their story whether I like it or not. They have spawned their spell on me. Ang di ko lang masakyan some of M’s posts on SC. Everything else is must see tv.

Agree with all your comments. Forgive me if I turn into a romantic (or cheesy) with this one. The fact that they appreciate and acknowledge they were destined to meet speak volumes already. Fate presented it to them in the grandest of ways. It was as clear as ice – it is destiny, it is serendipity. Their chemistry is undeniable. Even if one is not in sight, we still sense the presence of the other. Their uncanny resemblance, how they mimic each other unknowingly, how they think the same thoughts and laugh at it when they realise it. My list could go on. It is also wonderful to see that their similarities and differences balance each other out. All these in only seven months, and three months of that, in a split screen. It take years for couples to be in such position. I am sure they are aware of it. You may call me delusional, but I believe that whatever adversaries they may face, whether or not they realise that their love is true and pure, they may separate for awhile, but fate will continue to bring them back in each other’s arms.
I chance to read a feed on FB awhile back, where a man lost his wife to cancer at an early age. After some time, met another woman on some dating site. It turned out that the woman was a childhood friend. And it was also a photograph they saw at their parents house that proved it.
Above are the reasons why I continue to believe and stayed positive. I will continue to do so even if they only end up as friends. At walang makakapigil sa akin!!!

Let me tell you a story too. Naks. I shared this sa AA n fb group na rin pero not so bonggang story. May tita ako, she’s 60+ years old, (tatanungin ko siya kung anong age niya na. XD ) na namatayan ng husband, cardiac arrest. Namatay yung husband niya two months after namatay yung nag iisang anak nila na lalaki. Yup. So imagine in one year..dalawa agad pinagluksa namin. After a year or two, biglang medyo may conflict na ulit and I was unsure why but then nalaman namin na she’s going out pala with another guy. haha. Napataas ang aking kilay because she’s old to date pa adn she was not the type..pero nalaman ko na yung guy pala na dinidate niya is yung first love niya. Well, their story was tragic or so she thought. It was your typical hindi gusto ng parents si girl story kaya pinakasal sa iba yung guy. Ganun nangyari sa kanila. They thought wala na talaga but ito ngayon..nagkabalikan sila. Here’s the catch, my tita’s late husband was Alexander and pati yung son nila Alexander Jr. My tita’s first love na ngayon ay kinakasama niya ulit..Alexander rin ang name. 🙂 Few years ago..nung naghiwalay sila ng first love niya, my tita mourned (for her broken heart) for a week. She only wore all black..parang namatayan talaga then she promised herself na yung lalaking sasagutin niya ay Alex dapat ang name. Yun ang nangyari talaga. 🙂
Back to when they met again, sabi ng Tita ko, when she saw raw her first love after sooo many years..parang bumalik sila nung panahong bata pa sila. Everything daw felt like the last time they saw each other (mga 40+ years). It’s that beautiful.

And that’s why I believe that Nicomaine and RFJ’s story is no ordinary story. This may not turn out exactly the way we/they want it but I know and I believe that the universe knows exactly what it is doing. And we are sooo lucky to be witnessing all this. We are soo lucky to be witnesses and be part of this story. Marami pa tayong nakikilalang tao dahil sa journey na ito.
There have been times when I got really disappointed and confused but I told myself na hindi pa ito ang katapusan eh. It’s too early to give up. And even if toxic ang mga bagay2x minsan..I couldn’t let go. Maybe adik talaga ako. So, I decided to sit and stick around and think. I don’t want to let go but I don’t want to be stressed out rin. Kaya naisip ko..I have to find a maayos at hindi toxic na lugar/pwesto sa lahat ng ito. So I decided to just listen to Maine and Alden’s words (enough of the scoops and clues whatever), enjoy KS as a show, hope for MaiChard’s forever, and get kilig and/or criticize in between kapag may ganap sa dalawa (REAL ganap). 🙂 I’m happy and enjoying this way. 🙂 Win-win. 😀

I know, we can never really tell kung ano ang katatapusan ng story nila A and M. I also believe that even though God has given us the opportunity, we are also given a choice to fully accept it or not. Kaya siguro pareho yung story natin. Pero in the end sila pa rin. It is the same with A and M. Kaya dI natin puede iinsist ang mga gusto natin sa kanila, kasi baka di yon ang tama. As we know, fate has a way of playing its tricks on us. However, I am certain that this is the time for these two souls to merge. The signs seems to be everywhere at kailangan na ng bagong Angel sa langit. Kung di man ngayon maging sila, alam di natin na sa tamang panahon magiging sila rin. #asapamore
I am also just enjoying the ride with everyone else. I do not expect anymore. I just love seeing them together. Siguro nakasanayan na rin, parati kasi hopia.

Hello repapips! I am offended by some of the comments here eventhough they were not intended for me. Why? Because I treated AlDub as my property. It is as if I own them. It is like my own property. It’s like when you bought a new shirt. You don’t want to hear people saying it does not look good.
I woke up at 2:30 am just to read the 200 comments being posted here. When I left this site yesterday there were only 300 comments but when I checked it there were already 511 comments.
After what happened, I realized that you cannot love Maine without loving Alden and you cannot love Alden without loving Maine. It’s like the marketing strategy buy-one-take-one.
AlDub is like a jealous mistress…kaya hiwalayan na ang asawa at pakasalan ang AlDub!
Accurate ba ang mga TV Ratings? Hindi ba nama-manipulate iyon dati? May balita noon tungkol diyan.
To those who hate Alden let me say this: Alden did not commit a crime so he should not be punished.

You are right, if you love M, you need to learn to,love her betterhalf A too even it you have reservations about A coz as they said they are a team and have professed their undying support for each other. Respect them and their decision to be with each other whether reel or real. Take note that A&M are still too young and a great future is ahead of them, they would stumble and make mistakes from time to time but i know they have the strength to get up and dust of every negativity and missteps they would encounter thru their journey…

There is no harm in giving pov’s be it negative or hurt pa more ang peg but learn to limit ourselves, character assasination and tainting a person’s humanity is a big NO NO for me, i just can’t sit back and relax watching others do that to A&M, coz they are not just characters in KS but human beings too, at the end of KS, they revert back to their true selves as RJ and Nicomaine who have a world of their own so different from KS.
We are trying our best to bring back the good old days of this blog, a sanctuary of Aldub/Maichard addicts exchanging objective, kilig, funny and hugot pa more pov’s without attacking A&M’s integrity as individuals bec they too deserve our respect, the same way we should respect each other’s pov’s here.
I almost left this blog and stay away for a while coz of the negativity, waited for some AA team to respond first as my sign to stay on, a few of us badly needed the back up and you did not fail us… thanks!!!!! 😘✌️😃

Been months in lurk mode. The once in a while nega comments were just fine but lately posts were kinda below the belt already. Read a comment something like Meng crossing over to the dark side and Tisoy being spineless and had no balls. It’s nice to see old tambays of this blog stepping up again and ala pulis kalawakan (Shaider!) guarding this blogsite which is my only sanctuary. Sorry, I’m old school, if you don’t know Shaider just try to google it na lang.

@aiofthebeholder… Not a member too… I was a silent lurker then and was contented just reading the comments and giving my pov’s from time to time. i would consider myself maybe an honorary member??? ( pwede ba jilai??? nakikimember akech) kse i was visiting this blog since the early blog pieces pa ni sir vilo and i kinda witnessed how the Team AA was formed but medyo shy type pa ko nun so i did not have the guts to join… Hahaha!!! Besides i was happy just reading all the positive exchange of pov’s and eversince I was a Maichard shipper na. It was not an “all happiness and kilig” journey but i chose to stuck with what i see bet. A&M, kebs na lang sa mga nega.
I made sure din na i did not let myself be consumed by my admiration and almost bordering obsession with the two, i made it a point to continue with my own life after watching KS, turn the tv off and back to reality so that i can draw the line between pure love for A&M and dangerous fatal attraction. By doing so i get to see what is the reel and real relationship of these two young souls with an open mind to accept possibilities and disappointments as well.
No matter what we say, positive or negative against A&M, the truth of the matter is, all these feelings we have originates from the undeniable fact that WE LOVE THEM, and we want these two to fall in love for real, hence if things gets awry and doesn’t go the way we want it to be, others are so quick to hate on them and punish them for every wrong move but there remains people like us who chose to stick with A&M thru their ups and downs, hold their hands thru their dark days, fervently hoping when the dust settles and the smoke clears, we will all see the Maichard ship sailing away to forever… crossing my fingers for these reality to happen!!!!✌️😍

C A madaling basahin(contrary to what M perceived of him..it was her being pessimistic kaya cia nahirapan) c M ang i kennat!!took me sometime talaga..para sakin women in general are predictable pero kay M considering sa age nya ha..iba pinahirapan ako.haha!naunawaan ko lang talaga sila finally from KS’s episodes Feb 8-13.
It is really consuming in so many ways..pero at the end of it all choice mo pa rin kung saan mo gusto mastuck up. And for that, I choose to dwell on the Boojie!Charottttt!!!!

From the profound to the absurd, I am loving them all. At least no one here gets offended with unfiltered thoughts— there’s still a healthy amount of discussion and differing opinions.
This is what makes AlDub fans unique from all the other fan bases out there. We may drive each other crazy but at the end of the day, when all is said and done, Maine and Alden remain our loves.
Maine put it so eloquently… as long as Alden does not disrespect her, then all is well. Love and attraction can and will wane at any given time, but respect shouldn’t. That’s what we all want for Maine. And Alden, too. Pag walang lokohan, walang iwanan.

i have to hand it to M. She navigated the ALDUB ship through the storm and into the calm the past few days with 2 videos in a day. Her dubsmash driving alone on Vday shows she is a confident girl. She doesn’t need a man on Vday to complete it. It’s like telling the world, yes, i have my thing and he has his thing. I am happy and so is he. We don’t have to be together all the time to be happy.Her video of their tagaytay trip spoke volumes on their relationship- how comfortable they are and how happy they are together.
As long as these 2 kids can elicit this much emotion from a lot of people, this will be a never ending cycle. Brand X will always try to bring them down. The power they wield is like a two edged sword. It can slay the competition but can also inflict wounds to themselves with one false move. With what happened the past few days, i should not doubt them again.
Hay naku! My husband has given up on my addiction to aldub…….
PS. Have you read the musings of Broadway Janitor and Kuyakalyesergio over at twitter? I think their humour would jive with most of the people here.

Whatever personal thing they have sana lang they could maintain their relationship and careers smooth sailing. They are caught between how they feel for each other and career. Showbiz is not a safe haven for lovelife, madami makikialam – andyan yun respective management’s interest nila and their respective fans club na need nila pangalagaan lalo n sa side ni A.
Mang Jani’s tweets are humorous, try din i-follow ng iba dito to lighten up kaya lng may requirement dapat witty sa pag absorb ng banters nya.

his series on mama ten/papa ten really got me out of the doldrums last wednesday- after i posted my thoughts here:) there is a third one , REAL TALK by @donsuratos but he privatized(if that is the right term) his twitter account just this morning. he also has funny thoughts.
M really wields a a lot of power. She got me to consider buying in Stradivarius, forever 21 – the brand she wears on Kalyeserye. Sadly,i just have to admit it is not age appropriate anymore. I’m 42. She is turning 21- half my age! Just a thought. why isn’t she wearing BENCH? she is supposedly an endorser…… I am sure tech savvy fans of hers would already be familiar with the brand which is only available online. There is no store in the Philippines yet.

Hi aagmmd220! Stradivarius is already available in the Philippines. There is one in SM Aura, Taguig. Speaking of A&M’s fashion, I see there are so many people nowadays wearing what A&M usually wear, ie: for girls checkered or denim polo in black leggings or distressed jeans & a white sneaker, while for boys, printed polos, skinny joggings & black airmax. I’m not sure if that’s the latest trend, or if they were the ones who made that trend. Not surprising ALDUB is trending in twitter & in fashion!

– Someone please write the script & forward it to TAPE/APT. And, please, none of the unfaithful-husband, haughty-mistress, meek-wife, rebellious-children type of story. There is a surplus of that in the local movie industry. Maiba naman 😀

Guys on twitter… I am a silent lurker in twitter and follow a few accounts which radiate good vibes and hilarious tweets. Like what others said, i highly recommend @broadway janitor coz of his witty and hilarious tweets, @Antonio Palaiz for intellectual & indepth analysis of A&M’s relationship and the KS good and faulty plot, the MC VAMPIRES who are strong defenders of ALDUB/MAICHARD who go after the bashers of A&M, for those who love fan fiction conversations between A&M follow @silent_shipper, she makes short poems and fan fiction conversations of A&M based on some scenes in KS specially the kilig ones. It’s like having a glimpse of what conversations A&M have off cam.
Following these accounts in a way will give you a clear perspective on how some fans react to the daily Eat Bulaga episodes and their opinion on A&M. The conversations and tweets range from being giddy coz of kilig from Maichard, anger bec of boring KS episode, confusion on what is the real status of A&M, hopia moments and most of the time ordinary fangirling/fanboying tweets about MAICHARD. No matter what topics these accounts discuss, one thing is sure and evident among them, they are all MAICHARD SHIPPERS like us and that’s what i love about all of them.They are also my source of information on the EB episode everytime i cant watch live coz they kinda discuss the episode daily thru their tweets.
Warning though, sometimes bec of frustations on KS, some tweets kinda boder on ” bad words and invectives” but most of the time invectives rain and dominate the tweets of these accounts due to OVERKILIG with A&M which really make me LOL everytime.

I think this week’s EB & KS episodes made the fans (and uzis as well) calmer. Specially after the TWAC guesting of A & M, sa dami ng revelations na napulot don. So tuloy ang boojie…este ligaya!

Anak nang ruler!! TWAC, “mamahalin kita hanggang sa huli kong hininga” all the while looking into D/M’s eyes , from Daddy Bae’s tweets: “fully charged”, “dapat altar yun e!”, “#ALDUBComingSoon sa akin now showing na”. ubos na! As in gasping for last breath na ewan ko na! Oh! And before I continue, to clear the question poised on the charge/percentage wise was the percentage chance of them actually being together NOT the percentage of love they have for each other (because I read in here somewhere, someone asking how can you only be 80% in love with someone).
On TWAC: please keep in mind that this interview was done on the last week of January, the eve of the People’s Choice Award, ADN was still fairly calm and collected – So, how many thought that it was not THE Alden Richards doing the interview but, what, maybe 95.9% Richard Faulkerson, Jr? And who wouldn’t fall in love with Menggay on her hearty and spontaneous laughter alone? This girl defies convention, her different and unique personality is what makes her a target for the bashers because they simply can’t figure her out therefore they resort to name calling and judging the person.
“Wag na lang baka may maparusahan pa” (not verbatim) – Igan said this regarding the separate fountain photos and asked what that was all about, was it planned? Interesting that he would make that comment which only added to my belief that certain restrictions has been made on the two regarding personal interactions off cam as well postings on social media, But I still give props to TWAC because, so far, this interview has been the most telling of how close the chickadees are (Ricky Lo interviews were a joke unless he was given a warning before hand on what he can and cannot ask).
Who is more jealous? This was one of my fave question and got the most laugh out of me only because Tisoy’s jealousy manifested itself again on a later part of the interview. His facial expressions were priceless and you can absolutely tell that he was totally jealous of Jake (I would say more so than he was of Vico).
The little side remarks and quips regarding some questions elicited a few guffaws from me not to mention the little swats from Meng……me be like, “Awww, how sweet!”. Same reaction when she would make the akma (is that the right word for it?) hahaha…. I cannot wait until next week for the second part, the teaser has me on kilig overload 😀 😀 😀

On to Daddy Bae and his tweets. Daddy Bae, Daddy Bae what your tweets did to me! When Ate Dub tweets, it was “Yaya”, I don’t think that she had ever referred to Meng’s name whenever she tweeted about KS nor have I ever seen her tweet naming “Alden”. It was either “yaya” or “sa inyo”. Whereas Daddy Bae’s tweets were indirectly/directly to his “mga ….”. Throw in a couple of tweets from cousin bae the chef and sister bae (again not directly naming Meng) and I had Tisoy and Menggay married off with 6 kids (with one set of twins), and a handful of dogs in the house that Tisoy had specially built for Meng. Their lives were chaotic, balancing 6 kids and acting careers but they were happy. Then that fateful December came. The Lolas and Yaya were kicked out of the mansion, KS Alden’s (or was it) invitation and pick-up lines to Laguna were sounding more and more real by the second. His expression would change whenever he would mention Laguna and me be like “Aluhluhluh Tisoy, anong mga banat yan at bakit ganyan ang mukha mo?”.
Dec. 7 – Yes magazine photo shoot – their first photo shoot TOGETHER (aside from MBL promo shoot) and who can ever forget BTS of Meng on top of a table replica of EB panel for JFA, where Tisoy took her hand and ran it across his hair,,,,emeged! Oxygen please!
Dec. 8 – a tweet of a welcome mat was Daddy’s Bae’s last tweet to his mga. And now he’s back and he’s been on a tweeting streak this week. Although, he doesn’t mention them at all anymore, just the little quips of “fully charged” which accompanied a picture of a battery with 100% on it. Tisoy said his mamahalin kita speech and last night Daddy Bae tweeted “”dapat altar yun e!” and then his tweet this morning had me thinking of their 6 kids again because the TWAC interview was still floating in my head and they were like an old married couple (“what’s mine is yours…..”).
Daddy Bae’s sudden quietness in tweeting about his mga has always been stuck in the back on my head. I just found it so odd and many of his followers asked him about it too but he never responded to them. It had me doubting Tisoy and his feelings for Meng, his God fearing ways, his honesty and his sincerity. But BTS of TVCs and photo shoots, his actions whenever they were together whether she was at Broadway or he at the barangay kept my faith in him, in the two of them. BTS of TVCs and photo shoots showed two people who were comfortable with one another and were just plain having fun. And what can I say about how he takes care of her when they’re together? Three words….Wall of Alden, I think that says a lot.
Meng in turn would give little touches of assurances, a pat here, a pat there, feeding him, wiping sweat off his face, assists him to make sure he doesn’t bump his head or the like. Every little thing they did for each other was all natural, as if second nature to them.
But through all this, the bashes, the negas, the finger pointing and what-nots, Daddy Bae’s abrupt halt in tweeting about his “mga” has me thinking that Daddy Bae holds the answers to all my questions.
And now Daddy Bae is back with his kilig tweets (and if someone dare say that it’s all part of damage control from the VDay debacle, save your breath or I will not be responsible for my actions…..chos! (maybe)).
Hullabells! Novella na pala! Pasensya na po Sir Vilo (I seem to be forever apologizing to you, I swear I’m trying to curve down on my kadaldalan on your blog but it’s obvious that I’m not being very good at it 😦 ).
I swear I have a life outside of KS and Tisoy and Menggay (not a very exciting one but such is the life of someone as ordinary as me) but these two have me so deep that you would need a shovel to dig me out.

That TWAC interview revealed quite a lot. The question about sinong mas masarap magmahal, yung sakripisyo, the way they looked at each other and his response, her response with nangungusap na mga mata.. Have you noticed kinikilig yung nag iinterview. The families are giving me further hope as I couldn’t imagine them leading ADN on. Ano yon fan service din, they need not do it, A and M are already famous.

As for me (wala lang makakontra lang hahah) He was more shaken by Vico’s presence.. having the thought of M being paired to other men probably was the level of jealousy of “the Alden Richards “towards Jake but with Vico that I saw the cute jealous RFJ.

Juicecolored!! That wiping of his lips had me falling off my chair and mind you I was at work at na windang talaga ang paningin ko! But what’s more was the little smirk that played on RJ’s lips after. Haist! These 2 will definitely be the death of me.
I’m liking the sugod bahay segment as it defines the line between RJ/Meng and KSA/Divina, pero when RJ is with Allan K or other dabarkads kasi pag si Bossing at Joey ang kasama hindi makahirit ang shokoy….hahaha

A book where I anticipate reading the next chapter, every little details dissected and analysed. A book where the ending is unclear. I may have assumptions of what it may be but I’m willing to be surprised. Why? Kahit anong katapusan ng librong ‘to, I can still say to myself ‘I have enjoyed reading it!’ At kahit ilang beses ko pa basahin, the feeling will remain the same.

The effect of the VDay fiasco is beginning to show – so so attendance at the Davao show of A ( Kaya pala wala akong makitang pics ng concert) tapos cancelled pa ang concert sa PHil Arena. Pano na Lang ang Dubai at Canada. Sayang talaga. I feel bad for A.

with all due respect, WTF happened to the place i used to come to for intelligent comments, negative or positive? ive been backreading and some of the comments from Vday onwards are just so plain, panfully stupid. like tardigrade-stupid. their arguments wont stand up in court, or even just plain old common sense. jeezcryst. worse is its just 3-4 people echoing off of each other like their having the most erudite and clever conversation, when really its just that nobody is pointing out they have no pants on, much less legs to support their own overinflated sense entitlement to voice out stupidity. keep track of the comments Sir Vilo. every published comment on here reflects on you after all, since you have veto power over all. im all for intelligent debate. its healthy. what i saw were arguments with more holes than swiss cheese. its disheartening what this blog has had to endure. please make it back to what it once was.

How can it reflect on him if he didn’t make the comments? He can not devote 24 hours of his life to this blog. I believe he is a student in Florida. So the time difference alone with the Philippines where most of the comments are from would make it impossible to monitor this site. He could put all comments on hold and publish them after reading but that will take a lot of time. We can only bring out our points of view, argue and have intelligent conversations. If you think the discussions are beneath you then start your own blog or join the FB intellectual group. Tandaan – iskuwater lang tayo dito. Vilo accommodated us. We can not demand more from him.

I agree there is much to be desired in the moderation of the comments, especially those around Feb 14. I did intend to keep those comments because I understood that during those stretch of days, aldub nation was in a state of confusion and hurt and people needed to vent their frustrations and rationalizations, however absurd some of them turned out to be. An outlet is one way to calm people down and theomelettestation provided that need, somehow, and so I take full responsibility for it and I humbly apologize to you and to everybody else that were either disappointed or outright outraged over the lack of judgment in some of those comments.
The good thing though is we are now slowly healing and hopefully we can make the comments section a great place for happy discourse and sharing of good thoughts again.
But I do need all of your help to make that happen. 😊

Being accommodated means you’re no longer a squatter, and since we are all guests in this house , its only decent that we not hurl personal insults at what the owner dedicates this house to: ALDUB. unfortunately, not everyone seems to have that sense of decency. Also, im sorry, but what i read from a few commenters (not including you) is far from intelligent conversation. you would agree, i have no doubt.

@jilai… Agree… The M&D issue is so absurd…its a tabloid issue so not worth anything at all… A&M who is a legit loveteam cant even date or have time for each other coz of busy skeds, how much for M&D who are just acquaintances, M is too intelligent to have a supposed secret rendezvous with D and document her travel to Subic thru her snapchat vids…It was an innocent get away with her & EB staff and yet a certain group of fanatic fans of A used it to counter the damage they have done during their vday guffaw. It is just so sad that there are those who believe these made up nasty rumors specially since most of the masses have easier access with tabloids.
But as they always say”this too will pass” , but the sad part is the damage has been done, trust issues have been raised against M and most especially A. The loss of 200k followers in his IG is nojoke, it just show how disappointed the fans are. Hopefully A&M weathers the storm they are in now, I think their management have no intention of addressing the issue, they hope it would just die a natural death as any other issue thrown at Maichard.
I admire how classy and straight to the point Meng’s tweet was. She has always chosen her battles and answers with conviction everytime her or A’s integity is questioned. I just hope people would leave them alone, they have been giving us fun and good vibes at the expense of their personal loves being invaded by overzealous fans and yet one wrong move and the bashers would feast on them like lions preying on innocent victims.
They are too young to be subjected to these daily bashing and name calling from people who does’nt really have any idea about the truth and is just dependent on the unfounded rumours circulating in social media. The worst part is, it is not the fans of brand x doing most of the damage but ALDUB fans themselves.Whatever happened to ALDUB nation’s mantra that we are a “FANMILY”???
P.S. Most recent issue being feasted on IG,FB, TWITTER since yesterday is another statement by an Aldenatic (again??????) that the poem written by Alden is not done by him and was just scripted and that everything he’s been doing and saying in ks is script related. It caused such an uproar on the still angry and hurting fans of ADN. These Aldenatics is just a pain in the ass!!!!(sorry sir vilo!? ✌️😅) they act like they own A and knows everything about him. I wouldn’t be surprised if they will be the death of Alden’s career!!! Gahhhdd just shut up guys!!!!

It’s sad that we are now divided but it is inevitable. If you open your eyes and see what is really happening, you will see the truth. I want to see Aldub stay but EB made wrong decisions that affected KS. They thought KS fans are merely Aldub fans, there are the regular viewers, the solid M fans and A fans, there also people who got hooked in the story. People are no longer as interested as before. The ratings are stable at 20-24%, the likes and views of it.s replays are now about 1% of what it used to be. Of course them are still Aldub fans, the 1M tweets everyday. This is just pride talking, that ADN holds records. Is saddens me that once a great segment and the birth of a phenomenal loveteam go to waste.

Right now, the only mali sa KS is the boring plot na pwede namang palitan ng KS writers eh or they can end KS. Medyo harsh pero I think it will be beneficial for Aldub and the fans.
What’s wrong talaga is yung mga one-sided fans spreading nasty rumors about either Alden or Maine. What makes it worse is that other people believe the rumors even the lack of evidence. I am just wishing – praying even – that we all learn to take everything on social media with a grain of salt. Kasi sa kakapaniwala at kakainhale agad ng mga scoops and rumors without giving Alden and Maine the benefit of the doubt..nahihurt at nadidestroy natin ang ating experience as Aldub fans at nahihurt rin yung image ng Aldub sa atin.
These people are good, imperfect yes but kind people. Both of them.
And I think..I think, they don’t deserve the hate they are receiving.
Alden is receiving all the flak dahil sa mga issue na wala namang basehan at gawain ng ibang tao.

maybe they should end it or get another interesting story. we all love them to bits but it can get tiresome. over at witter, they are just also hanging on for the love of the two but are getting tired of the of the boring plot as @jilai said.
i read somewhere na they might have a teleserye every saturday only. that would be great! at least it is something new…… maybe make it like the koreanovelas where the series runs for 2 to 3 months only. then another story. at least keep the new ideas coming. give us something to get excited about! not like the sitcom where there is no story or very thin story line.their guesting on Vampire Ang Daddy Ko was disappointing. well thought of ones. there are a lot of fan fics out there for their picking that are actually quite good.
i read at the philippine daily inquirer that A’s concert last night got cancelled because only 74 tickets were sold. ouch! the attendance in his davao concert was soso but i am not sure what that means. does it mean there were people but not as much?
i think majority of the people past their 20’s who are big fans of theirs are not at as vocal. they are not as gullible to believe the stuff but it still hurts. i think majority here are past their 20’s. we will be there for these 2. just give us something to get excited about……

Probably they were politely asked to take it down or get their facts straight before publishing. Not a good move though. AlDub will be bashed for this. Na naman. They were pitted against a monster of a loveteam, Jadine.both concerts are on the same date. James, the other half of the LT, has regained top spot over social media with 100k more followers than Alden. Funny how for the love of AlDub, i followed the accounts of other LTs as well. I must be baliw na talaga. Juskopo.

@jilai…agree that KS plot is going nowhere nowadays. The past two weeks after the ansera arc was the worst episodes since ks runs for just 15minutes with no storyline and features jowapao and Meng singing karaoke style. We are lucky if we even see A&M talk to each other or even say hi to each other lately since there was no time left for them to interact during ks. It is like going back to the july-sep episodes wherein A&M has no dialogues and just use fansigns and dubsmash to communicate. Even Joey de Leon said “yun na yun” in one episode since nothing really happened at that time.
After the much celebrated Tamang Panahon, fans expected A&M’s interaction and adventures in KS to level up, even the storylines were expected to get better, but no, it never happened but instead ks went back to the split screen romance between the two and worse, the KS Alden & Divina was in a standstill with the fans losing its interest on them being a reel couple in ks.
I don’t know what else can the writers of ks and Jenny Ferre has in store for us, but honestly speaking most fans are annoyed at the seemingly deliberate efforts of the writers to stretch the ks storyline with senseless filler episodes. i don’t know why they cant seem to push through with making KS Alden and Yaya Dub a legit couple and maybe create a new story and adventures revolving around them being a couple already. In a way, the seemingly unrsolved relationship status of KS ALDUB is contributing to the frustrations & confusion of the fans with regards to A&M’s real or reel status coz their pick up lines and sweet banters sometimes blurs the lines bet reel & real hence the main reason for the bashing A usually gets from a lot of the fans.
What really frustrates me is the fact that A&M’s growth & potential to become great artists are being hindered due to their commitment to KS. They are made to prioritize ks for a mere 5minute exposure doing the same dubsmashes and 7 month old split screen interaction. I feel EB & TAPE is putting to waste Maine’s talents and potential to be an all around artist by just letting her portray her alter ego as yaya dub day in and day out for the past 7mos. They could have used saturdays to showcase A&M’s talents thru production numbers where they can sing, dance or host instead of just going thru the usual “mahal mo ba c yaya, kayo na ba”questions which is followed by the sooooo annoying ” busina” refraining any of them to answer at all then by monday the cycle of senseless episodes starts again.
I believe M has a lot to offer if only APT/Tape would lend her to gma. She can do guestings in gma’s different programs so she can build her confidence in meeting and working with different artists. Her TVC’s show a different persona, more of the real Maine than her alter ego yaya dub hence earning a millions of views in youtube. Toni Gonzaga who was once an eb host became so popular when abscbn got hold of her. She was packaged as an all around star who can sing, dance, host and ac at the same time, she became a household name and still a well known artist till today.
I envy Jadine’s career path since it is much better than Aldub’s. Even though they are viva artists lent to abscbn, they have been having good projects nowadays. A succesful teleserye, a sold out concert, overseas concert tours, album and an upcoming teleserye again in june and a REAL relationship ( inggit much, hahaha). If only gma and tape can do the same for A&M before the fans gets tired of waiting for worthy projects, lose interest and withdraws their support altogether. As of now a lot have left and a few solid MAICHARD fans remains but hanging on a thin thread of hope that someday A&M’s career will take a turn for the better.
It is just so sad to think that after 7months, the phenomenon that is ALDUB is seen just in tvc’s shot separately, and in KS Monday to Saturday where KS Alden is still in his lungga and yaya dub is with the lolas braving the crowd in the barangay. 😓😥😔

Loved your POV too. Im one of the few who are braving the storm and hanging on for dear life. I heard about JaDine too. Inggit din ako. They have a World Tour coming up while our two lovebirds are stuck in either Broadway or the baranggays doing pabebe. Buset na busina yan!! :)) But come to think of it, it took JaDine two years to get to where they’re at. I just hope that Tape/GMA can get their acts together and give AlDub the super stardom they both deserve.

Jadine now admitted that they are officially a couple. This took me by surprise since they have always been saying that they are just close friends and James had been photographed with other girls. There was an interview before at Kris TV where they said that Nadine is like an Ate to him. I feel that this is ABS answer to Aldub..considering the figures at the box office during MMFF. They probably saw the potential of these two being able to bring down our “manoks.” Whether it’s a gimmick or not, just like you I envy how their careers are soaring right now. Well planned concerts, teleserye and all. I have to hand it to ABSCBN..they are really the better station. We put our hopes and bets with GMA and EB but as what the other people have been saying through social media, sinayang nila ang Tamang Panahon. Now I understand why GMA’s talents leave them. I still pray that they package A & M the way they should be handled. Imagine from the start they already have a huge fanbase. Naghintay lang lahat..at maghihintay pa more..until we are all hanging by a thread.

Seen it all. 😀 Nasurprise ako kasi I thought James is not aware of his feelings..their IG posts ever since (even before Aldub) changed. nagkakahawahan sila ng style at taste ni Naddie. I thought they love each other pero hindi nila alam. Yun pala..alam na alam. 😀

Thanks jilai for giving me more info about jadine. Team US kasi kaya don’t know much about them. I have nothing against them, it’s just that A & M lang ang LT na binigyan ko ng ganitong attention (midlife crisis na ata to). It is really so frustrating the way things are going with EB and KS. Sana lang TAPE knows what they are doing.

And I agree, it’s been disheartening na. I know na there were times na nafufrustrate tayo tapos biglang babawi sa isang super kilig episodes before and yes…nakakahappy pero it’s tiring really. Like SUPER plain and boring episode then here’s ONE episode na magpoprove na may plano sila. It doesn’t prove anything eh. Hindi yun proof na naghahanda sila. It proves na may naiisip sila pero they can’t be consistent.
Plus yung super short na time ng KS..nakakaloka rin. i kennat. So ibig sabihin ba nito? mag aabang na lang tayo kung maganda ang feedback sa twitter dun tayo manonood ng episode sa Youtube? Ang sagwa lang diba na dumating sa ganitong punto.
And we are hating on them naman eh. We are like this because we love Aldub and KS but we don’t like what they are doing. We will be supportive fans but it doesn’t mean we will be okay sa lahat ng ihahain satin.
I hope TAPE/GMA learns how to handle and manage this tandem. They are phenomenal…pero yung pag handle sa kanila parang hindi match sa laki nila. Ganun.

Here is a food for thought…What if management is only going as fast as Maine is comfortable with? That maybe, just maybe, Maine is the one that is taking it slowly.
Remember she’s an introvert, she is uneasy going outside of her comfort zone.
We all want so much for her so we demand, push and bash. But keep in mind that this is still her dream. HERS NOT OURS! And we can only support her in her journey towards reaching it.
Several months back she posted on her IG a letter and I quote, “Kung wala pa man akong napapatunayan sa inyo, sa’kin maramirami na…at yun lang, sapat na. Sapat na din para masabi kong proud ako sa sarili ko. Way to go, Meng!”
kung siya proud siya sa mga achievements na nakukuha niya bakit kayo palagi ninyong pinamumukha na kulang pa?
If she quits tomorrow and walks away from everything, she would look at this experience as the best time of her life where her dreams came true. Would you be happy for her and say “She became more than she dreamed she could be!”? Or would you shake your head and say “She could have been so much more!”?

@kebs… Agree, Maine could be the one holding back, that’s why i said ” they could use saturdays to make production numbers that can showcase their talents in singing, dancing and hosting as well” so it can serve as a training ground for her, she has done that before during the bulaga pa more competitions and she sang during alden’s birthday and they did an amazing, gravity defying dance prod during the ansera arc. I don’t think a 4 minute song or dance number is too much for Maine’s introvert self.
I don’t expect EB/TAPE to immediately push Maine to do “concert level” production numbers or be featured in “award worthy/tear jerker teleseryes”, all i want and as i read from twitter, IG, most fans want is to see A&M do more than their pabebe waves and one liner pick up lines in KS, since at the rate it is going, KS seems to be losing its way with regards to its story line development.
It is just a pity that A&M’s career path has no definite direction right now and we are all in waiting whether they can transition from ALDUB, the KS pabebe wave lovebirds to ALDEN & MAINE as the consummate artists that they should be. I believe they have a lot to offer to us fans if only they are given the right projects and platform to showcase their talents. It is just a matter of giving them the wings to soar higher instead of caging them in a never ending (lately wayward) KS plot.

A 30 minute guesting of A&M with TWAC last wed was enough to make all the fans in a frenzy and make twitter explode with TWAC related tweets, how much more if they can do more of those guestings/ appearances so as incite fans interest again.
The past few days can be described as one of the “dark days”of ALDUB & the FANDOM, a lot of damaging issues are rocking ALDUB to its very core and making a seemingly irreparable damage to A&M personally and professionally. They are subjects of discussions not positively but on the contrary bec of the non stop negative issues coming out one after the other.
Their clout and popularity as the so called PHENOMENON is in question with the cancellation of A’s supposed phil arena benefit concert (i think he’s just a guest)which brand x fans are feasting on right now. Now all eyes are on the TNT MOA event featuring A&M, words have it that the said event is not yet sold out as of this writing ( event is on feb 26) so the vultures of brand x are waiting to pounce again on A&M and Aldub nation if ever they do fail to fill up the arena to full attendance capacity.
But amidst all these chaos, i stand firm and support A&M in this bumpy ride they are having right now, no amount of issues & mudslinging would make my unending support for these two waver at all. I love them to the moon & back and will be forever be a fan and looking forward to more years of ALDUB/MAICHARD as a loveteam be it reel or real.
Dont fret guys… We can get thru this… Our love for A&M and their magical lovestory would somehow stir them to their right path and maybe., just maybe, when the right time comes they can just turn their back from all of these chaos and finally have that precious moment to claim and embrace their destiny as two lovers RFJ & NDM, so blessed and meant to have their happy ever after…😘😍👨👩👧👧

I love both A and M and I don’t wan’t to be nega today but with the episodes since last week till today why do I feel like EB/TAPE is intentionally trying to diminish the popularity of AlDub? very minimal exposure and interactions and parang walang matinong participation and story. Why do I feel that there’s rift or politics inside and somebody’s working againts both A and M? What have they done to deserve this?
Naaawa lang ako sa dalawa.
If there’s a positive intention in what’s happening, I really don’t understand.

It’s just so sad na stuck sila KS. Kahit guestings man lang sa ibang show, wala. Nasa KS lang talaga. And for me, I doubt na Maine is the one na nagsasabing wag muna. :3 because I think she wants to be stretched and be challenged. When she got the Yaya Dub role, she said diba hindi siya marunong kumanta, umarte, o sumayaw pero lahat yun ginawa niya. Para siyang sinasapian kapag trabaho na.
Sumayaw sa EB, sumayaw sa harap ng 55,000 ka tao..ginawa niya lahat because it was needed. and yun yung mga panahon na bago pa siya sa showbiz at bago pa ang trabaho sa kanya. She’s willing to grow and hone her craft. Ngayon pa ba siya aayaw eh dun talaga papunta ang career niya eh?
It’s just that right now everything feels so stagnant. Walang improvement. Even if KS will go for the 3rd condition and all,yung iisipin ng mga tao ay sariling project ng dalawa.
If they have a serye, at least may hihintayin ang mga tao. May aabangan. After TP..everyhting about KS is just soo boring and crappy. Sorry for the word pero it’s true. Andami kasi na pwedeng ginawa ng management para mamaintain yung effect ng aldub pero ang nangyari ay sooobrang bilis ng pagbitiw ng iba kasi from super maganda at compact na TP at pre tp episodes biglang hindi alam kung saan papunta ang Aldub. Hindi namaintain eh.
I just hope that there will be a show for them. 🙂 Yun lang. Para mas maexpose si Maine, mag grow siya as a professional, at para hindi puro KS ang pagbasehan ng mga tao ng real deal sa kanila tapos ibabato kay Alden lahat ng sisi.

A 5 minute ks episode with ALDUB just making a pabebe wave to each other… I kennat na tlaga!!!!! Mas mahaba pa ung exposure nung babae sa sugod bahay with her endless talking which was tolerated by the staff/writers than having a good ks episode. We are not only after the uber kilig episodes aldub can offer though such should be a given already, but at least give us an entertaining, watch worthy ks episode naman diba????

It’s really obvious that they are stretching this. Why not end it or just go with the rest of story tapos end tapos gawa ng bagong segment for A and M para hindi umasa ang mga manonood na about Divina at Alden ang mapapanood nila.
Today’s episode was flatter than flat. Empty sa empty. Parang timang ang mga viewers na naghintay. Ayun si Maine umoo lang at parang nagbigay lang ng conclusion tungkol sa ganap last Saturday. What is that diba? If they want to end this, end it. If they have plans…then ayusin rin naman ang KS. Jusmiyo.
Nakakapagod na rin tong kakareklamo ko sa KS eh. Hahahaha. Pero nakakainis talaga ngayon eh. Wala man lang patawa from JOWAPAO. Nakakasad rin na may mga fans na umaalis becoz KS is just so meh. I know may aalis talagang fans pero wag naman na nawala dahil kagagawan ng KS. Parang nagpupush sila ng mga fans away sa ganito.

@Mari Adora I thought of Toni G long time back, though I am quite settled na mukhang di naman magover da bakod ang Menggay natin..EB/TAPE was able to gain her FULL trust by giving her sense of comfort and security which is very very important sa personality ni M.I can sense M’s loyalty to EB/TAPE. She is learning and at the same time she is enjoying her dream..that makes her bagay sa EB kasi seems not work at all di ba..parang papasok ka lang para makipagharutan/biruan as quoted by Joey de Leon. Career wise, i don’t see hindrance on M’s part, totoong wala pa sya movie, teleserye, etc WALA PA, pero magkakaron for sure, yun nga lang para sa mga abangers na katulad natin NAKAKAINIP HA!! But if we try to consider and look on it on a brighter perspective..mas maraming opportunities na magrow at matuto c M hindi lang sa larangan ng pagarte but as well sa mga kaganapan sa likod ng camera. She is writing a novel di ba, loves editing and making videos so basically hindi lang pagarte ang passion nya. All they(EB/TAPE) need to do is to constantly delight her, surprise her and challenge her and she will definitely deliver something FANTASTIC baby!Ganoin!
As for KS episodes, story per se, I agree, it is leading nowhere,kung anung rason ng writers, sila lang ang nakakaalam, majority of the televiewers wanted KS to end but it seems hindi nila tatapusin dahil ayan pa din ang mga lolas (imagine they have to put on make up kahit na ang exposure nila will be around 15 mins lang..so para sakin maliwanag pa sa ulo ni Wally paninindigan nila na hindi nila aalisin nag KS. So for the meantime,,magtyaga daw tau sabi ni Ms. Jenny. hahha!
As for A, enough na ang prod number na sumasayaw..irita na ko utang na loob!!hahaha!Without a doubt, he is a great actor,,my gulay let him act enough of the pabebe!

I just wonder kung may PR Manager ba sila. Considering A and his managements are close with A’s fanclub members, bakit di nila na manage effectively what happened during VDay. Even after, these so called fans are still responding to comments and/or commenting on A’s behalf, which obviously damages their idol’s integrity further. What about long term plans? When Aldub phenomenon started, didn’t they consider the pros and cons of such phenomenon? Projects? Di ba dapat na perceive na nila kung anong concept ang nararapat saAldub/Maiden, there should already projects lined up from the start. And this include KS. Para kasing walang proper planning and walang timescale. Seven months is a long time to be stuck in KS and TVCs exclusively. In a business sense, it’s neither productive to the company nor the employee. And most especially, dapat na work out na nila their target market. Ok, it is a broad market pero I bet, the majority of us ay iisa ang rason kung bakit tayo nahumaling sa Aldub. They could have worked on that. Back to the negative issues, bakit kailangan nilang manahimik o bakit kailangan na manggaling kay A and M ang confirmation through their cryptic tweets. A statement from their management could have confirmed and stopped these issues.
They are of course the expert in this field, above are just merely my opinion.
@Perstaymer, A’s bod doesn’t really do it for me, but would welcome any chance of a viewing.

@K I can feel your frustrations..and the thing is what aggravates more is the fact that all of us (fans/supporters) are clueless of whatever plans they have for A&M. I don’t know if they are doing it intentionally (part of their strategy, maybe) or (i hope not) wala talagang pulidong plano para sa dalawa. Hindi pa nga nakakamove on ung iba sa pagooverthink sa Reel or Real score between the two..madadagdagan pa ng another issue if A&M’s career is mismanaged or not. Malamang nito kukulot nanaman ang 3 1/2 pcs na bangs ko sa kaganapan ngayon!

@Perstaymer disheartening kasi yung mga nangyayari ngayon. Di pa talaga sila naguumpisa as a fully pledge loveteam parang end game na kaagad. They have so much potential. If they need to hire all the experts in show business gawin dapat nila, in order to maintain ang status ng Aldub. I also thought na maybe marketing ploy lang, pero wrong strategy. Parang di sila nakikinig sa ADN/viewers. I also noticed that EB is presently testing the waters. Pabago bago ang segments nila in a space of a few weeks. Sorry kung ganito na sya before pa, di kasi me nanonood before. With this new storyline, di pa nga sinasagot ng matamis na oo, kasalan agad. Are they also going to prolong this? Yes, I’m frustrated, na may panggigigil pa! (Ang daming gigil non ha!). Oh! Ayan salamat, nailabas ko na ang aking hinanakit. Happy happy na ulit.

I feel you. Sobra. 7 months pa lang and too many fans left already. And the sad part? yung mga imalis na fans just did not want to endure the pain of seeing KS becoming lame. It’s painful to watch sometimes. Naku, remember January? may episodes talaga na ewan ko kung saan na papunta then they used KS to make bulyaw sa mga fans for being judgemental and all dahil nagrereact sa Jake arc nila na super crappy and made Yaya Dub look easy to get. :3
It’s sad that they weren’t able to manage this phenomenon well. Kasi we were expecting “Oh my gosh. tuloy tuloy na ito.” Why not diba? both kids are good and super talented pa.
Maine is all out and does her best all the freaking time. Kahit nga feel niya hindi niya kaya, ginagawa niya eh.
Alden naman is talented. He’ a good actor. When you tell him to dance, he will dance. Let him sing, he will sing (kahit pa hindi ganun kaganda ang boses niya).
Come on, if this whole Aldub thing was handled and managed well…hindi ganito ngayon. Promise.
I’m no expert pero ibang iba talaga ang pag manage ng GMA. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. I don’t know kung saan sila nakatingin, really. I don’t get it.
When TP happened, when they saw 55,0000+ seats na may fans and 41M tweets..they should have made GOOD plans for Aldub already. That massive crowd..hirap kunin eh. Hirap makuha. Once in a blue moon. Sana nag effort na pagandahin ang lahat, sinolido sana ang mga bagay2x pero wala eh. Kahit hindi man super intense pa rin ng craze..at least sana wala o konti lang mawawala diba?
but what happened is that andaming nawala…and we can’t blame them becoz KS has been really crappy after tamang panahon.
They can say all the alibi and reasons they have pero kitang kita talaga yung kawalan ng plano eh. I really thought they made SMART plans. Grabe.
And then I hate it when I’m answered “They already made history, there’s nothing to prove na.” Oh no, there’s nothing to prove na I know pero wag naman pabayaan na lang diyan na parang kusa na lang yan maggogrow. Jusmio lang.
Why are we being critical now? Because we are all secure sa MaiChard and both concerned sa career ng dalawa kaya tinitingnan na natin ang ibang aspeto ng lahat ng ito: KS plot, career growth ng Aldub, management, at iba pa. And we do not like what we are seeing. And we can’t just sit and watch and waste our electricity watching something na hindi mo alam kung anong tawag. I can’t just blindly say “okay lang to. May plano naman yata ang EB eh. Baka may surprise sa Sabado.” Ganun? Love is blind lang? hahaha.
May karapatan ba tayong mag demand? I don’t think we have that right. But we do have the right to be disappointed at ito ang opinion ng mga tao. If they don’t want to consider the opinions of the fans or don’t want to try to look at the things na pinopoint out ng mga fans…I don’t know what that makes them.
Sana wag nilang kalimutan na may mga fans silang dinadissect ang lahat ng aspeto ng lahat ng ito at wagas magsabi ng opinion. Kung nagawa nilang ipraise at pakinggan ang mga ganyang fans noong bago pa ang KS, pahalagahan rin nila ngayon.
If they have plans, they better inform the fans about those plans. Baka sa tagal ng plano nila, napagod nang maghintay ang iba.

@Jilai my sentiments exactly. I will assume na maybe this is new to them and they are used to conventional way of management. I do think we have the right to demand kasi we are the consumers/viewers. This is the new millennium. They are so lucky that the biggest and most successful social media company like Twitter is behind them and the success of #Aldub. There are so many things they can do with this goldmine. Grabeh! Sinasayang nila. Sometimes I think M might even have the knowledge she can share to her management on how to manipulate these platforms. She is already doing it. With her snapchats, the video she edited, blog, etc. Their USP is M (sorry A, we must admit, M’s exposure to the Internet (and of course her personality) has added to Aldub’s popularity) and their closeness to their followers. This is what sets them apart sa competitors. Their market is within their grasp. Marketing experts worldwide would pay millions to have what they have. The demographic and diversity is vast. I may still be wrong, maybe they are brewing something behind the scene. They just need to act immediately before maumay na and majority.
Ewan ko ba, siguro gusto ko lang na magpatuloy ang demand ng Aldub/Maiden/MaiChard. I want them to surpass yung popularity ng ibang personalities sa Pilipinas not just nationally but internationally, too.

Just finished watching replay of KS ep today..well in all fairness meron naman pa lang aral c Lola Nidora..and mukhang fast forward scenario ang susunod na mangyayari after AnseRA. So there you are my dears..kung meron mang concrete plan ang EB/TAPE un ay ang hindi tapusin ang KS.

In regards to their PR management: totally agree. Yun bang feeling na bago ba sa industry yung management of both A and M or so overwhelm lang sila talaga sa dalawang ito that they have no idea how to proceed. As I was reading comments from everyone above, I was itching to call the William Morris Agency or CAA here in LA at ibandera sina Menggay at RJ…..

@aagmmd220… Tnx… I felt like i really needed to voice out all those frustrations and ideas coz if hindi eh baka maloka na ko!!! I tried to give KS writers the benefit of the doubt and hoped that Jenny Ferre still have some tricks up her sleeve in coming out with better concepts/plot for ks, but it isn’t the case , since january ks has been on a downhill trend and A&M’s growth & promising career is at stake.
I just wish it’s not yet too late… They were dubbed as a once in a lifetime PHENOMENON… It would break my heart to see them fade away and just be a memory of the past coz of mismanagement and power tripping of some people around them. 😏😔😪

Huwaw!! When I last posted there was about 500+ comments, what happened to everyone over the weekend??? I haven’t had a chance to back read but from glancing through the comments, consensus seems to be frustrations over the KS storyline or lack thereof. Of which I totally agree. I’ve posted comments in IG that EB needs to stop needling/nagging KSA AND RJ regarding his feelings for Divina/Maine. They need to get pass all of that and move on with the KS storyline. If they’re not going to let them spread their wings with a teleserye or movie and just keep them at EB then they need to step up their A-game. The Ansera arc was a really nice change and show that they have good writers on staff. I love the spontaneity that the no script brings but they need to give JoWaPao and the chickidees direction on how the storyline should go. So many things have transpired in the beginning that they had forgotten: what’s in the diary about KSA that Lola N did not want him for Divina in the beginning, they touched on the ring last night but now seem to be introducing the maghuhula that Mama met in Paris (which should be good but I still feel that the writers need to look back on past episodes and try to connect the storyline for continuity), KSA has met Divina’s 3 conditions, what now?, what’s happening with the Lola’s trying to get the mansion back? Oh! And can they give KSA a bit of a spine, I feel that sunod sunurin na lang sya. Yes, he has done the challenges pero ewan ko, parang he should be able to do more in terms of trying to get the mansion back from his Lola B. As I said I love the spontaneity of KS but they need to stop going around in circles with the story and get on with it or they’ll be losing more than just the audience and ADN followers 😦 OK, I’ve vented, will back read now.

It shows talaga na ang mga pinoy ang may pinaka mahirap na audience/viewers to deal with para sa mga performers either imported or local artist,very difficult to please lahat. I understand yung mga constructive criticism ng mga iba dito sa atin,pero maski saan categories eh may mga handlers yan or coaches na kailangan nila sundin. Doon umiiral ang discipline and professionalism ng bawat talent. Huwag natin pangunahan yung mga writers kung ano yung next set of scenes ng program,kasi mas naniniwala parin ako na sila ang may mas nakakaalam kung ano yung right time para ilagay sila sa next level to soar high ika nga,alam din nila kung hinog na hinog na sila sa workshop,let us continue to be a keen observer sa KS. Ako ayoko ko ng matawag sila as ordinary love team or tandem kagaya ng iba dyan,Hindi sila cheap guys phenomenal silang dalawa. Kaya pinag aaralan mabuti ng management kung ano yung best project,movies,appearances na ibibigay sa kanila,being a fan of ALDUB it takes a lot of gallon/drum of patience ,understanding and most of all love para suited ka sa kanila,kung Hindi nyo ma apply ang mga qualities na yun,baka siguro Hindi kayo legit na fan para sa kanila baka sa ibang artist siguro,opinion ko lang po,thanks.

@Jojo Hindi sa pinangungunahan ko ang mga writers, all I’m trying to say is that they need to stop going around in circles with the KS storyline. IMO – they so want the unscripted spontaneity that they forget they should have a flow in the KS storyline as well. If their intention is just a day to day skit of JoWaPaoMeng with Alden then they should stick to that and not bounce all over the place with the KS story as it is now I still think that JoWaPaoMeng and Alden can be spontaneous even with a script as was proven with the Ansera arc. If they don’t want to work with a script then they should at least brief them before hand on how they should handle the show for that day not give them instructions on the spot. I’m team abroad so I live stream 95% of the time and I watch on my cellphone so I have earphones on. I can’t tell you how irritating it is sometimes when you hear the instructions from the writers on what they should do next especially with Alden. It’s those little instructions that can be heard that adds fuel to the fire on how RJ really feel about Meng.
I also hate that they are being compared to any/all LTs (specially now that JaDine has confessed on a real relationship). People forget that JaDine have had a couple of years together, RJ and Meng have a couple of months (and I’m not counting pre-TP).
The AlDub/RJ and Meng phenomenon has hit the Philippines like nothing ever before. They are not your run-of-the-mill love team and I think that they should stop treating them as such. Hindi na orient ang EB, ang GMA, and TAPE at lahat nang taong involve sa kanila. It has been 7 months, I’m hoping that by now, na orient na silang lahat on how to handle and manage the chickidees’ career. They are slowly but surely starting to capture international recognition as well and I really pray to God that all involve in managing their careers are prepared for it. Am I expecting too much? Why, yes. Yes I am. I not only want these two to be together forever but career wise I want Hollywood status for them…GANOIN!! 😀 I would really hate for them to just fall on the wayside because their management companies have no idea on what to do with them and the popularity that they’ve garnered thus far.

I second the motion.. I am in the same boat as you. I watch the replay on my phone with earphones at work whenever I can and could really hear loud and clear the instructions coming from floor directors. In one episode where they went to the rooftop where Alden had flowers as a surprise, a lot of fans thought M knew nothing about it when actually before A opened the door you could hear someone said “yung flowers mo.” I realized those are not so audible on TV that’s why.

I respect your opinion. Ito naman sakin. Some of the comments are constructive because they are not bashing and just plain hate comments.
When a criticism is given to a certain work of art, it doesn’t mean na pinapangunahan na yung artist or gumawa nun. May criticism kasi merong observation, may opinion, may ideas from other people na posibleng hndi nakita ng mismong gumawa nun. It’s like presenting the different side of things. Hello from the other siiiiidddeee ang peg. 😀 hahaha.
It’s like telling EB na “ito yung nakikita namin from here and ito yung nararamdaman ko habang pinanood yung gawa mo. May kulang, may hindi ko gusto, may something na mali. But that’s just me.” Now, it’s up to the writers if they will stick to their plans or consider kung ano mang narinig nila from the people. It is still up to them and tayo? all we can do naman is observe and wait as usual.
And why the discontent sa mishandling? because people are just plain not contented. When you have a phenomenal loveteam sa iyong pangangalaga, you have to utilize it. Sabi nga diba madaling pumasok sa showbiz pero mahirap magstay. How do you stay? You work on it every day. You don’t just say “I will give you ugly performances now because I have good plans for the future. Please wait for it.” No. You should give the people enough reason to stay with you hanggang sa ang future plans mo ay nakita na nila. Nakarating na ba sa “enough reason” ang Aldub..wala pa. Nagsisimula pa lang eh. Kaya nangangapa pa lahat. Kaya may bulilyasong plots, kaya may criticism dahil nangangapa pa ang lahat.
There are fans who hate an episode, criticize but still stay because..Aldub and/or EB. – they are sometimes called the negative, pessimists.
There are fans who hate an episode, refuse to criticize and stay because Aldub and/or EB.- they are sometimes tagged as the postive peeps, the optimistic ones.
Same intentions, different approach in showing love but all just okay as long as it’s not plain bashing.

^Javiman really? Maybe special guesting lang… I read from lionhearttv (are they reliable?) that producers cancelled it due to poor ticket sales. Only 74 out of 55k, and katapat ng JADINE which was already sold out. Phil Arena is still too huge of a venue to stage something like that, knowing that the artists are not really the best singers out there, nor those whom you can expect numbers with special effects & costumes. The producers were solely relying on the fanbase..

They erased everything. And then the hacker unfollowed all her following. After several hours, they apologized, asked Alden to DM them for the password and then followed Alden on IG.
They know that Maine could care less about what reporters and bashers say about her. So they chose to hit her where it would hurt the most, by erasing her beloved pictures. How cruel can some people be?

I know getting hacked is a terrible thing to happen to anyone. Sorry but I find it both funny and sad how extreme some of the reactions are on twitter – some bordering on being OA. Some want NBI to get into this as if national security has been breached. Some are calling for death penalty for the hacker. I mean, true it is reprehensible that M was hacked but come on – she was not kidnapped or anything. I bet that she can still recover those pics if she asks ADN to share her the pics they copied/downloaded from her account. I am glad she asked people to sleep and told them she was fine. I hope she recovers those pics tho and the the hackers are penalized (hopefully, not death penalty). Ganito kabaliw ang ADN. The silver lining about this is that looks like the nation is uniting again. Kailangan lang ng common enemy.

@Funny Girl – Such is the fandom that is ADN. We range from the ultra conservative (hides their admiration (and kilig) for AlDub) to the extremists (those calling for death threats (OA ba kamo? But, of course! We would not be part of ADN if we didn’t have some in us…hahaha). And yes, was it not awesome of bibi girl to send out that tweet? She knows how to calm ADN without further inciting them 😀

Just heard that snapchat support has called out Tisoy to DM them so hopefully all will be right again by the time bibi girl wakes up, that is if she’s even asleep. Since it’s around 4:40am in PI, she’s probably still awake….

I’ve only just read it now on Twitter. What is it this time?! I feel for these two, they must be emotionally exhausted now. These past few months not been very good for them. I cannot see any reason why anyone would do this to someone whose only passion is to enjoy herself and make other people happy.

I really do hope she is fine…😔😓 it’s good EB’s episode today is taped so Maine doesnt have to appear live on tv & pretend everything’s ok, of course she’s upset, imagine deleting all her photos and the memories associated with each & every picture, i just can’t comprehend why hackers would always zero in on her, maybe bec she’s so popular that it would be such a big issue if they touch her social media accounts… But as of this writing mr. Carlo Ople and his tech team ( the same group who helped meng during the first hacking) are doing all they can to recover her account. Hopefully everything would be ok in the coming days…😥
What pisses me off is the one sided fans who are again bashing Alden coz they think he failed to show the right amount of concern for M since there is no tweet from A assuring M that everything will be ok… Gahhhhhd!!!! these people are really insane…lunatic even!!! Hopeless tards!!!!

The magic of KS is Aldub, the Lolas, Filipino Traditions, Lessons and Laughter. A 30 minute slice of heaven in a day filled with problems and hardships. Where we can all just let go and laugh (or cry, whatever the case may be).
When people overthink things, they take out the joy of being completely taken by surprise. Some people just needs to take a chill pill and learn to enjoy and appreciate KS with no expectations.
A lot of people want to separate Maichard from Aldub. Isn’t that what the writers are doing now? We see Alden caling Maine, Divina in KS all the time now. Completely driving in the point that Alden and Maine are separate from Alden and Divina. So much for the real/reel angle!
A lot of people wants a Teleserye from Aldub. But isn’t that what the writers are doing right now? Walang pickup lines. Walang spontaneous na lambingan. Walang inside jokes. Halos wala na ngang Dubsmash. Everything and everybody is following a script. How are you liking this set up?
A month ago, several people suggested to take out sugod bahay from KS, so there would be no more interruptions during the KS segment. Little did everybody know that it would eat up more from the KS time slot.
What I’m pointing out is that we, the fans, have complained. And in one form or another, got our wish granted, but we are still not happy.
I am a fan of Kalyeserye. And I am angry at the know-it-alls out there who thinks they know better than the writers of the show. Kung nakukulangan kayo o nauumay, marami sa amin na hindi pa. Pwede ba kung hindi na kayo masaya, wag na lang kayo manood. You are spoiling it for the rest of us who just wants to enjoy the show and take a break out of life.

Medyo di ako agree. If they are sticking on the scripted story of KS, then why there is a need for a kiss? Eh diba hindi pa naman sinasagot ni Divina si Alden? Where’s the moral lesson that KS used to impose? Another blurred line between reel and real na naman ba? Tapos kapag di nameet ni Alden ang expectation ng fans or may lumabas na namang pictures online eh mega bash sa kanya? And anu pang aabangan ng mga tao sa kanila or sa una nilang teleserye kung isasagad na nila lahat dito sa KS. Naubusuan na ng creative juices si Jenny Ferre.
