Sinubukan mong ingatan ang iyong puso. I sensed that right away, dude. You tried to protect yourself. Napagdaanan mo na to, this is not something new. You’ve been hurt before, hindi ka na magpapaloko.
Ngunit sadyang mabait sa iyo ang tadhana. Hindi mo binalak, hindi mo inakala. Hindi mo inasahan na darating sya. Serendipity daw sabi nila. Siguro nga. Talaga naman kasing pinagpapala ang taong tulad mo na likas na mapagkumbaba, may takot sa Diyos, may paggalang sa kapwa.
Si Meng. Siya ang gantimpala mo. “You didn’t have a prayer, you didn’t have a clue, but then out of the blue”– binigay sya sayo. Simula nun, andami nang nagbago sa buhay mo. Mas lalo kang hinangaan ng tao. Ang Kalyeserye nyo, naging patok sa buong mundo. Mapababae man o mapalalaki, bata o matanda, walang nakawala- lahat ay nahumaling sa istorya ng umuusbong na pag-iibigan nyo ni Meng.
Nung una ay kitang-kita mo ang kanyang paghanga. Hindi maikaila, masyado syang mapahayag sa nararamdaman nya. Kaya naman ikaw, nag-aalinlangan na. Ang tanong mo sa iyong sarili, “Eto na nga ba? Hindi ka pa sigurado kung ready ka na nga. Hanggang dumating ang araw na kayo ay nagkita. Ibang hatak ang iyong nadarama. Naguguluhan ka ngunit gumagaan ang loob mo sa kanya. Hindi mo maintindihan, hindi mo maunawaan. Eto na nga ba ang iyong magpakailanman?
Kaya tuwang-tuwa ka, nung sinabi ni lola na pwede ka nang sumuyo. Pinaghandaan mo ng sobra ang pag akyat mo ng ligaw sa dalaga. Sa harana mo, sinong puso ang hindi manghihina. Ngunit si Meng, napapailing lang sya. Di bale, pupuntahan mo naman sya, makakasama mo na ang napakagandang prinsesa, kahit ilang saglit lang, alam mo magiging masayang-masaya ka.

Malayo ang nilakbay mo, hanggang dumating ka na nga. Pagpasok mo sa mansion, hinahanap mo na sya. Nung pinasyal ka ng mga lola, pinapakita yung mga lumang larawan nila, pilit mong pinalalabas na interesado ka. Pero paggalang mo lang yun sa kanila. I know it was all a haze, ni hindi mo na maalala ang mga sandaling yun. Kasi, si Meng lang ang hinahanap mo. Sya lang ang nasa isip mo. “Asan na sya? Kelan ko sya makikita?” Pabalik-balik sa diwa mo.
Kaya nung pinaupo ka na sa sofa, ang lakas na ng tibok ng puso mo. Eto na sya, papanaug na ng hagdanan. Sumilip ka pa, para bang di ka makapaghintay, eh sandali lang naman bubungad na sya sa iyo ng buong-buo, pero sumilip ka pa rin. Inaaninag mo. Kaytagal ng mga segundo! Parang nag e slow-mo ang boung mundo!
Hanggang tuluyan mo na ngang masilayan ang mala-diwatang kagandahan ni Meng. Napatayo ka! Napangiti ka ng sobra. Kilala ko ang ngiting yun, hindi papoging ngiti yun. Nawala lahat ang poise mo! Natutulala ka pa nung binibigay mo ang mga bulaklak mong dala. Di mo alam anong gagawin. At nasabi mo na lang, “Ok ka lang ba?” Sumagot sya, “Ok lang”. Ayun, nabaliw na ang mga lola! Pero ikaw, todo focus mo sa babaeng nasa harap mo. Pinipisil-pisil mo ang mga daliri sa mga kamay mo, niyayakap mo mga binti mo, balisa ka, hindi ka mapakali. “All that I’m worth is right before my eyes” Bumalik sa isip mo ang linyang yun. Andyan na sya. Ang halaga ng boung buhay mo, ang dahilan kung bakit ipinanganak ka sa mundong ito, nandyan na sya, nasa harap mo na.

Sayang, pero me replay nga naman, sigurado ako, mapapaluha sya pag napanood na nya. Kahit pusong bato mapapaluha sa ginawa mo. Inaamin ko, napasobra din nang konti ang emosyon ko, kaya napasabay ako sa pagluha mo. Konti lang naman. Sabihin na lang natin ng ganyan. Nakakahiya din eh, kalalaki kong tao.

I agree with you on this one. Mas cautious na sya on how she reacts kase before, okay lang na all out kilig, kasi biro biro lang naman. Crush crush parang ganun. But now, it’s starting to unravel into something more. And we have to remember na, their emotions are on the line. Damdamin nila ang tinataya nila dito. As a woman, gets ko si Maine. She’s not exactly pulling back or hindi na interesado kay A. Parang sa episode kanina, nung nag sumasayaw sya ng Happy, and wala pa si A sa screen, sabi sakanya ni Pao, ang saya nya nanaman. Yung ngiti nya kasi. Pigilan daw nya or itago, something along those lines. It’s about how she’s carrying herself on screen. Maybe she realized na she didn’t wanna look like habol na habol or patay na patay kay A. Kung ikaw kaharap mo crush mo, and feeling mo it may develop into something more, how would you react? You wouldn’t want to present yourself na patay na patay diba? More like, chill lang kahit deep inside, you wanna jump out of joy.

Kahit sa work, lutang isip ko.. tapos yung bill ko sa mobile plan ko dumoble. kaya I reminded myself na, Medyo hinay-hinay lang, nawawala na ko sa realidad ng buhay ko! haha! Wish ko lang sa kanila, gumanda ang careers nila pareho.. hindi man sila magkatuluyan, maabot sana nila ang rurok ng tagumpay.

Makikita natin ang damdamin nila na maaring ikaiiyak nila sa kaligayahan habang nakatingin sa isa’t isa hanggang sa sila ay magyakap. Unti-unti ng nababasag ang pader sa puso ni Alden. Puno na ng lamat. Yung iba natatakot pa rin para kay Maine pero sa tingin ko, si Maine lang ang papayagan ni Alden sa ngayon upang basagin ang matayog na pader na matagal niyang itinayo. Sana sa tamang panahon, sabay na mabasag ang mga pader sa puso nila ng tuluyan at maabot na ng nakatagong Richard at Nicomaine ang isa’t isa.

I could only imagine the high, mighty walls Alden meticulously built just to protect himself from the pain. Kaya importante sa akin yung 2nd monthsary episode, noong sinabi ni Alden na “Ready na ako.” Right then I knew that he was ready to let his guard down, and finally let someone in. And that’s Maine.
Haaay if only I could read Maine’s 1 AM thoughts. ♥︎

Wow, I had to stop reading every couple of paragraphs to catch my breath. I felt so giddy the entire time I was reading.
I can’t believe I missed so many things even though I have watched it a lot of times already. I will watch it again right after this.
I especially liked the part when Jose was so *kilig* that he hid behind the curtains. I think that since Jose has been working with Alden and Maine separately (SPS and EB), he must be picking up on a lot of things over the past weeks, like how different Alden and Maine are now from when they started the Kalyeserye. Both Alden and Maine might have even told him things that wouldn’t sound so meaningful at the time, but could be collectively interpreted as “something”.
Usually, the people who like each other are the last ones who realizes that they have mutual feelings for each other. It’s usually the people around them who notices and knows it. I’m really hoping that Jose acted that way because he knew something that both Alden and Maine didn’t (or hasn’t completely realized yet).
I’m not saying that they’re in love now. Love is very complex and different…I don’t think they can be in love at this point, but I’m sure as hell hoping that they’ll eventually get there.
After all, nobody can deny that there is already ‘something’ there.

I agree Jose is so cute hiding behind the curtain. He could not contain his kilig. I also enjoyed Tito Sen gaping and teary eyed with laughter most of the time he is watching. So unguarded. And Allan K. seasoned comedian at that, he is literally standing already with too much laughter and excitement. Dapat sana wala lang sa kaniya pero hindi mapigil ang nag- uumapaw na kasiyahan. I think that all of them reflect our exact sentiments of wanting these two young people ending up together in real life.

nakakakilig yun mga sinusulat mo mr. vilo and as a fan and a woman i am hoping that is the case but in reality only the two of them knows the truth. reading between the line when alden cried and dedicated GGMY to maine, he is thanking her because of the overwhelming blessings that he is recieving right now. he said that he always say thank to aldub nation but this time the song is for maine.
to personally thank maine and acknowledge that without the other half of ALDUB which is maine… he won’t be this much popular. they are both intelligent and very kind people and i know that they are not ” in love ” yet. i’m hoping they would be when they really know each other. sa tamang panahon. but if not, i have a feeling that they will be very good friends for a long time.

YES! there you said it they are not “IN LOVE YET” That is so true, but reading between the lines they are really in love not in that sense that we ought it to be when hearing I LOVE YOU, but in the sense that they love to be with each other’s company in order to know each other MORE. It’s not love yet, but the pieces/ingredients of being in love is already there, I can tell and i know everyone can tell.
I love the fact also that in every interviews of Alden, whenever he was asked if he already loves maine, he will answer it with Pabebe Wave or like today in Starstruck when he was asked by one of the contestants if he loves ‘yaya dub’ but pointing out to maine, he said “Mahal na agad? hindi ko pa sya nakikilala” I was happy that he answered it that way, because if he said na mahal na nya, it means he is only acting and its not true love in short its a showbiz answer, love needs time to be built, and they never really had that time yet to know each other too well. Last saturday’s episode was more like an Opening only, Validation of Their mutual kiligs within those split -screen stints that they have been doing for the last 2 months, and i dont count their first date with this because they were too far from each other and didnt even have the time to have a small talk like they did on their 2nd date. Well as you can see, the validation for them is really successful, Alden was really tensed all the time and just focuses on Watching Maine’s movements and expressions(in short he is star strucked talaga) and Maine on the other hand, the usual very outgoing to show her kilig towards alden is now showing some holds on her kiligs, and thats a good thing, cause if she didnt hold her kilig it just means that she didnt felt that alden is head over heels over her already, and im proud that she did it cause it shows decency on her part as a woman.
Hence, saying this. I am really one of the hopefuls that they are going to have more time talking and bond with each other soon sa ‘Tamang Panahon’ cause that will close the cases of so many questions in their minds if they are really going to invest their true and personal feelings for each other and not only for showbiz purposes but for “FOREVER’s PURPOSES”

Thank you for this! I dont usually comment on blogs or any site ( except on Facebook) pero di ko mapigilan sarili ko . Habang binabasa ko, gusto kong umiyak kasi tugmang tugma lahat ng isinulat mo sa nakita ko nung Sabado . I was one of those who cried when Tisoy sang God Gave Me You because I felt the sincerity, gratefulness na nasa puso nya and yung emotion na nararamdaman nya for Meng . I didnt know Alden that much before the KS for I was also an avid Kapamilya before. As for Meng,t I started stalking her Twitter/ blogs, ask.fm, after Ive watched her dubsmash video of Kris Aquino on FB. I soon started watching replays of EB at night. That was why, I was also one of those who witnessed and felt that undeniable chemistry on July 16th. The birth of ALDUB loveteam was also the start of my being an “adik”, puyatan galore sa kapapanood ng videos nilang dalawa for the nth time, nagsimulang maging active sa Twitter after 4 years kasi lumubog ang “ship” ng loveteam na kinabaliwan ko noon Naging stalker din ako ni Alden at pinanood ko ung mga past interviews nya sa Youtube at nararamdaman ko yung humility, at pag genuine nyang tao despite sa mundong kanyang ginagalawan… . Ive tried to explain kung anong hatakmeron sila sa akin kasi hindi naman ako ganito sa last LT na sinundan ko . Iba yung napifeel ko everytime I watch them on screen. Parang ang saya saya ko, na kahit sa work ko ang gaan gaan ng pakiramdam ko . I really love these two! And I hope they will end up together sa Tamang Panahon. we have the same experience, i started on watching maine’s dubsmash video out of curiosity cause everytime i open youtube, i can see her dubsmash videos everywhere, and with many views, so out of the blue, i clicked on one of her videos and just like that i was led to that July 16, 2015 episode of kalyeserye, the 4 minute short video version of the first meet up , and all of the sudden i didnt feel the time i was already watching them for 6-8 straight hours, that time it was july 18 so just imagine, that was only 2 episodes of kalyeserye that i have been watching OVER AND OVER AGAIN, and i cant explain the level of kilig, i was already thinking ahead way too far, i was already thinking of what the future may bring to the two, and guess what those thoughts of mine is slowly unfolded page by page in my mind…and that makes me hook like hell into their love story for i know that their author is GOD…

If you watched Sunday Pinasaya on 9/27/15… when Rico Favio was doing the laglagan part, he said….after he read the Maine’s letter, he knows “MAY TAMANG PANAHON SA …..FORVER”. He was sincere when he said it. Not the way he would normally evade other questions with a “pabebe wabe” and a smile. I am hoping they will get closer when they start shooting their movie together. They will have alone time on breaks offcam, coffee breaks, lunch breaks, etc. This way they will be regularly speaking, spending time together and BE DOING THE ‘KNOWING EACH OTHER” part. I am really getting excited about these coming moments. I have a very strong feeling “THERE IS SOMETHING NA WITH THE TWO OF THEM” They do not know it yet. They are both young! We Love Them BOth!!! We wish the best for both of them and we know it is ‘EACH OTHER”. These two are ‘MADE FROM HEAVEN”. I DO NOt BELIEVE THEY WILL LET EACH OTHER GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! May GOD Bless Maine and Alden and all of us the ALDUB Nation.

With all due respect, we all have different point of views. However, it doesn’t take one to be a genius to figure out that A was definitely NOT ACTING last saturday. The sweat, dude. Says it all. The body language, the way his eyes are fixated on her and the parting shot. The whole time, Alden bared everything. Kitang kita.
The starstruck thing, I don’t know what’s the big fuss about it. Why people are reading too much into it.

tamang tama ka po, jusko kung actingan lng lahat noong sabado, si alden na siguro ang pinakamagaling na actor sa balat ng lupa, i mean he is a very good actor. but god, the body language, the sweat, the gestures those things really show that he isnt acting and he really wants to validate his feelings towards maine, cause finally he was given the chance to meet Maine, even not for too long but CLOSE – UP…
Hindi nyo ba na notced guys? sobrang focus lng si alden sa pag titig kay maine, every movements and expressions walang kawala sa mata ni alden. He really is head over heels for maine, not because he is already inlove with her, but because he is dying to know her BETTER. Im sure stalker na rin ni maine si alden and vice versa…ang cute lng talaga nila tingnan kasi nilalagay rin natin ang mga sarili natin sa kanilang posisyon if ever tayo ung andun…sobrang sarap ng feeling dba? We should be thankful to god cause obviously he is the author of their Love Story. Just to think of it kung hindi nahimatay si maine sa first wedding nila ni Frankie at nagkita na sila jusko cguro hindi ganito ang nangyayari ngayon sa kalyeserye, kaya we owe everything to God, for he is obviously the hands and brains behind this kalyeserye, and to all the EB staffs that is playing a helpful hand for this story to take part…ALDUB YOU ALL

Kasi kung actingan lang iyin e di wow! Pati involuntary actions ni RFJ on cue. Kaya niyang kontrolin FULL PORES at flushed look. Kulang na lang pagtabuyan na ayaw pa umuwi kung saan saan bumabangga. Pati icing ng cake napupunta saan saan. Pati pagsuot ng boots hindi na nai-zipper. Juice colored pero iyong pawis talaga in torrents and huge waves. At some point naisip ko pa, may LBM ba ito o inaatake? And to think na self- confessed OC daw e walang ka-poise poise. Pagkakita ko pawis niya sabi ko, kid this better be the time you did not forget deodorant otherwise body odor abit mo.

Actually, watching yung segment niya in Starstruck had the opposite effect on me. Parang it affirmed all the more na he’s affected na talaga. He advised the SS aspirants to surprise their acting partners, right? I had to smirk to myself at that. I guess at the time, he wasn’t expecting to go head to head with Hurricane Maine kasi during the ligaw episode, it turned out that he was the one caught by surprise. If anything, si Maine pa nagpapakilig sa kanya. At one point, I lip read Maine telling him, “Ganda ng eyes mo”. And then she was the one who said, “Subuan kita.” Si A was the one having to play catch up with her at every turn. Nawala yung typical Bae mode niya na very cool and controlled. He was reduced to being a giddy, blushing schoolboy. And by the time the wild ride ended (when he was being led to the door), he just looked dazed and breathless, like “what just happened?”. And we loved every minute of it.

Thank God for this. I was trying to lip-read Maine during that part. I replayed it so many times but I couldn’t get it. I was bordering on, “Cute mo.” Or “Yung eyes mo.”

Same thoughts! I think I would be disappointed if A said he already loves Maine. I would think he is becoming “showbiz”. His answer in starstruck proved that he is real and sincere. He won’t say things just to please people. He won’t say things just to satisfy the fans. And yes, that episode was taped a week ago. But him saying “mahal na agad” does not mean he does not like Maine. “MAHAL” is a big word. He or they are NOT THERE YET. One things for sure though after the September 26 episode. SOMETHING HAPPENED. SOMETHING CHANGED. And walang Actingan doon.

the saturday episode sorta proved a little about maine not being gullible, cmon shes a smart kid and obviously the two are very segurista when it comes to relationships..stop the worry.. lets just have fun!!

Let’s lip read pa more! There’s also that part right after the lolas briefly left the dining room. Maine was like miming holding a microphone to her mouth. Did she say “kanta”? And Im not sure if I read Alden’s lips correctly. Was his response, “Sa iyo yon. Di mo ba narinig?”.

ay wait… eto ba yung sa part na dinadubsmash ni A yung “you are so beautiful to me…”, I think A accidentally touched Maine’s hair nun eh, eto yung nalaglag yung cake from Maine’s tinidor, right? Ang pagkaka-lip read ko naman dun, dinuro sya ni Meng with her tinidor then sabay sabi ng “na-touch mo…” haha labo ko. Yun kasi pagkakabasa ko kasi right after napakamot si Alden parang sumenyas pa sya with his hand na parang sinasabi na “konti.”
At syempre kinilig na naman ako. Ugh.
At fave ko rin pala yung binalikan ni meng yung palabok, parang pinagusapan nila about pancit ata, sabi ni meng “ako rin eh, gusto ko pancit” sabay tawa ulit.

i have to agree with you.. you can say na parang badtrip pa nga sya sa interview na yan.. baka napalakas ang pag paroll nya sa bowling after haha! pero yeah, he was never that way towards maine.. siguro dala na din ng maturity (bilang yung interview was 2013 pa naman) so nagchange na sya after 2 years.. or siguro nga badtrip lang din sya.. kaloka naman kasi talaga yung tanong. di ko naman sya masisi.. tao lang din..

yung startstruck nya noon payung thursday-friday.. kasi nakakta ako sa isang twitter ng finalist sa starstruck.. na about alden friday guro yun (nakalimot na ako).. at saka nireply mo ang starstruck monday.. nagprapractice panga cla sa sunday pinasaya.. at tsaka hectic naman yung schedule ni alden pagkatapos sa kalyeserye saturday.. madali lang sya natapos sa practice nila sa sunday pinasaya sa saturday para lang sa segment ng chef boy….

Gosh. Binabasa ko lang pero bumalik na naman lahat ng nangyari nung Sabado.
Wow just wow. Alden was really cautious the first few weeks of kalyeserye. Meng was the aggressive one. I can’t blame her, kasi nga they said crush daw niya. But as days passed by, Meng became cautious. She guarded her feelings, which is dapat naman talaga, mahirap namang mafall, tapos wala palang sasalo sayo. BUT asawa ni BET, when Meng held back, dun naman naging aggressive si Tisoy. He was the one who always initiated a kiss, or whatever. He became “showy”.
Sana magkatuluyan sila. I would be the happiest kapag nangyari yun. Sa tamang panahon.

another great read sir.. i am truly inspired by your work.. and yes, i agree until the last letter that the song became their own anthem.. grabe, affected din ako nung kumanta siya sa studio.. yung song niya yun, for his mom daw yun before.. and i felt he was thinking about his mom while singing it at first.. the way he looked up when he sang “..you know how i loved to complain..” like he was telling his mom that line.. yung out of the blue, swak na swak sa kanila, cause it was unexpected, it was accidental.. we never saw it coming.. when they showed the video of them together, dun na xa napaiyak talaga na hindi makakanta.. that feeling that all your mother’s dream finally came true.. the one thing that you promised to fulfill before she died, and you’ve been struggling for years to establish in the industry, but you always fall short.. then ,here comes a person whom you least expect to meet changed your whole world upside down.. you didn’t have a clue what’s going on, and now all your prayers have been answered.. the thing you want your mother to see has been granted.. the thought that it was not planned at all makes it overwhelming to you.. just like the song, he felt reborn, he felt whole, he felt healed..the emptiness that his mother left in his heart is finally being filled with the woman standing before him.. kaya ganun na lang siya makatitig talaga kay meng.. like a drowning manbeing saved.. ang ganda ng story nila sir, kaya hooked tayo.. ngayon ako talaga naniniwalang si God ang sumulat ng lovestory nila.. ibang klase.. that’s why the world is also affected.. thank you for the wonderful blog, na describe mo talaga ang meaning ng song para kay alden.. and the best part of it, hindi lang sila na blessed ni God, pati tayong sumusubaybay sa story nila eh nauulanan din ng blessings na yun.. something a minority couldn’t understand na din.. I agree with you. Hope springs eternal and true love endures. I think that Maine may be cautious but she extended some sort of consideration to Alden that is why Alden looks relieved. He looks happy and at ease. She is in fact sensitive to his feelings and to some extent parang she prepared herself na maghintay. Hindi naman pagpapakababa iyon dahil nagpaparamdam naman si Alden. It is in fact maturity on her part. I associate their predicament in this lines of the country song ” If you get there”. Parang pakiusap ni Alden kay Maine: If you get there before I do, don’t give up on me. I’ll see you when my chores are through but I don’t know how long I’ll be. But I’m not gonna let you down, darling wait and see. And between now and then until I’ll see you again I’ll be loving you. Love me.”

i don’t know the song.. but the words.. wow.. it also depicts waiting.. love knows no time, love knows no barriers.. if two people decide to commit themselves to love, they’ll wait for it.. these two are just so well guided by their own parents that i admire how they managed to wait for the right time (sa tamang panahon).. i do hope that all would understand the concept of KS.. it is not just for kilig, it’s a story with so many lessons in life.. the reward of waiting and trusting in God’s hands that all the things your heart desires will come to you at the right time.. we are hooked because deep inside we long for that kind of love.. the one worth fighting for, but we forget that love comes in mysterious and amazing ways..and so, while we wait (and pray) for our own love story (myself included), let’s enjoy witnessing a rare and pure love story unraveling before our eyes..

i read all of these comments, started from the very yop of this page, but this comments i am absolutetly agree, this is exactly the same with my interpretation noong kumakanta si Alden at umiyak sya, Naisip ko na naalala nya ang morher nya dahil sa sunod sunod na blessing na dumating sa kanya , dahil on friday before this Episode of Mansion ,he recieved a golden award at napaiyak din sya , kaya at this moment na kumakanta sya maaring naiisip nya ang mother nya at ang success na narerecieve nya sa ngayon ay dahil kay Maine kaya parang tinatanaw nyang utang na loob kay Maine, and at the same time napaplapit ang puso at loob nya kay Maine especially nakikilala nya unti unti si Maine.Kasi i watced his true to life story parang may similarity ang personality ng mother nya at ni Maine palabiro at masayahin,.Na kapag minsan ang mga lalaki nagiging inspirasyon nila ang mother nila sa paghanap ng kapareha nila sa buhay.Im a mother and ive noticed this to my son ,maybe not all the times but i mean some are,

I actually noticed that too. Gulat si Tisoy. I’m internally cursing the person who picked that particular line and put it in the list of lines/songs to dubsmash. Bakit naman nilagay yon? Nakakainis ng slight. Haha. I mean, lovey-dovey then out of the blue, biglang ganon. I guess kaya din nagulat si Tisoy kasi Maine faced him during that particular line.

i think they wanted to see alden’s reaction on that… they really want to catch his real emotions, kasi from the very beginning we only see Maine investing her feelings by really showing her true kiligs towards alden, but alden on the other hand is just acting for the sake of entertainment, kaya the staffs and directors really wanna clarify kung totoo na ba talaga ang nararamdaman ni alden towards maine, pero paunti unti…at kita mo naman ang resulta, effective dba? That’s one of my favorite scene ! I find it so cute coz I saw Alden’s reaction when she dubsmahed it. He look suprised, like he’s thinking why she was saying that and scared that she really mean it. So he kissed her like to make her stop. And the way that he kissed her, it was like he couldn’t help himself anymore that he just have to kiss her right there and then. Oh the feels!!!

Grabe na tayo! I did the same thing. I was at church before the mass yesterday, I said my normal prayers and then made a special mention for Richard and Maine…that they find each other and be together for the rest of their lives and be happy if it is GOD’s Will! Our priest told us to always say payers with…..”if it is GOD’s WILL”. I have goosebumps! We can say we really love these two people so much that we include them in our lives and prayers as well. They give us sooooo much, at least on my end. All my stress went away. I was a bad case before I found ALDUB ! I really thank GOD for both of them and all their supporters and fans and EB bosses and staff and GMA bosses and staff. More power to all of us and GOD bless us everyone!!!! 🙂

Goodness…same here! I will agree on you saying they give us so much, i feel the same way, i was kind of down these passed months bordering to being cynic at times, it seems i lost my sense of care anymore, and here comes kalyeserye, im never ever into loveteams before,coudnt care less, ang showbiz kc, until these two. Im still bewildered as i gravitate to them and i cant help but fall in love.
I guess they rekindled my dormant passion in life. Lol! They make me want to believe in all things good again.
And honestly, last sunday was the first i went to church again for a very long time. Its kind of insane but i love them like theyre my younger brother and sister, lol, thats how i see them. Sooooo, lets pray for them and wish them gudluck.
And yes, if its GODs will it will be done!

Parang narefresh sa utak ko yung nangyari sa episode last Saturday after reading this. Ang galing! Keen observer indeed! Isa pa sa napansin ko is after Maine gave him the letter and the Lolas are teasing them, lalo syang pinawisan at hindi nya talaga maalis yung mata nya kay Maine. It was as if he really wanted to hold her that time, kaso bawal kaya wala syang nagawa kundi sumunod sa inuutos ng staff kaya paatras pa syang lumabas pra lang hnd pa maputol yung titigan nila. Nakita ko rin na natawa na naiiling si Jose. And dun sa part na imbes na lumabas na sya eh umakyat pa sya ng hagdan? Wow! Haha! Halatang lutang sya the whole time na nasa mansyon sya. Ilang beses q xang napansin na parang natutuliro. Alam mu ung literal na “Sweep off his feet”? Para syang nasa Cloud 9! I think, totoo yung sinasabi nya sa mga past interviews nya na pag nagmahal sya, ibibigay nya lahat, as in all-out. Kaya nasaktan siya ng sobra kasi sobra din sya nagmahal. Wish you all the luck, Bro Alden! Pero kung isang Maine Mendoza ang mananakit sakin, susugal parin ako. I’ll surely take the risk coz I know it will all be worth it.

My tears are running down my cheeks as I read this blog! Ramdam ko yung every word! Siguro makita ng mother ni Alden na NASA kanya na ang lahat at natupad na yung dream nya pero malungkot pa rin ang binata kaya she talk to God. Then God send Maine for him to realize what was missing! Ngayon little by little those empty space in his heart ay unti unti ng napupunan! Let’s guide them for the tamang panahon! God is writing this love story carefully. And we are blessed because we are witnessing it as it every story unfolds day by day!

Sir, you truly write some of the most beautiful essays in the world, and this isn’t the first time. I don’t even know if it’s normal that I was in tears while reading this. Must be an AlDub effect, the fact that they are so relatable and they live up to the FIlipino culture (as what all these experts have been saying).
But I would agree with most of the comments here. While Alden finally has let his guard down, Maine shielded herself from scrutiny. Although her guard slips from time to time, she’s now very cautious.
Whether any of this is real or not, I am glad to have seen a “love” like this unfold.

Natutuwa ako sa blog na ito, kasi hindi lang yung write up at blog ang babasahin mo. Ma-e-enganyo ka rin magbasa ng comments..
Ang masasabi ko lang.. Hindi pa rin ako maka-get over.. 2 araw na, pinapanood ko pa rin yung episode nung Saturday.. Si Maine parang kilig crush pa rin ang pinakita niya last Saturday. Carry pa rin niya mag joke and umarte na silly and all. Pero si Alden parang kilig na inlove na. Hindi siya mapakali. Grabe na siya makatitig kay Maine. Kaloka! Kung ako si M matutunaw talaga ako at hindi makakatitig. Tsaka yung episode ngayon.. Si A na parating nag fan sign tsaka tumatawag sa attention ni Maine. Naalala ko pa yung parang kinukulit niya si Maine na mag-react don sa fan sign niya na “Aldub You” pero busy si M mag dubsmash.. Tsaka yung reaction niya na na-disappoint siya pag di sya pinapansin ni M.. Nagkabaliktad na. Dati si M ang nagpapakita ng ganun reaction pag di napansin ni A yung FS niya.. Kanina si A na.. Hay naku.. Grabe di naman ako natutuwa sa mga love team dati. Ngayon na lang na matanda na ako.. Lakas magpakilig nung dalawa. Kasi totoong emotions yung pinapakita nila. Maybe scripted pero yung facial expression and gestures, I don’t think kasama pa sa script yon.. Sana bukas ma-get over ko na ito.. Please.. 🙂

Hahaha i feel you po. Yung moment na ilang beses mo ng pinanood pero wala pa ding mpagsidlan yung kilig mo. Pero sobrang thankful tlga ako sa kanilang dalawa kc na change nila ang perception ko about love. Kung sa ka bitteran lg, reyna ako nyan dati lalo na sa mga friends ko, pero ngayon medyo nabawasan na nh konti. Puro good vibes nlg gusto ko. Ayoko na ng ampalaya!!!

AGREE na AGREE ako, pero i have the feeling na kung i feature ang thoughts like this into public, ma spospoil cgro ung Love Story nila Alden And Maine. kasi parang bukingan ito ng feelings e sa part ni alden mostly, and also slightly with maine, kaya the safest way nalng po is i share nalng natin ito sa twitter or facebook with other aldub nation, atin2 nalng muna ito, lets not spoil their story of our keen observations and thoughts for their future…HAHAHA ano po masay mo?

im on bart kalamba’s side hihihi… iba kasi yung art ni mister vilo eh. medyo nakabase siya sa observations niya sa actions nung dalawa na medyo deep na. and for sure dadami nun ang visit dito pati rin sila m and a di ito plalampasin actually nakita na ni M ito. For sure maiinfluence yung actions nila kahit katiting lang kasi may idea silang nakuha sa POV ng mga fans. Im enjoying the fact na this place has become our forum. nakakahiya din kaya sa kanila baka isipin nila pinapangunahan natin sil sa real emotions. so yun hahahahaha.

Opo nga po. I saw it too. I just hope neither of them will feel any pressure or get affected on what was written. It is a truly beautiful blog if we read it on the perspective of a fan. Pero I think mahirap on their part kasi pano kung hindi naman yun ang nasa isip nila? We don’t want them to feel uncomfortable or pressured to take actions on what they read. I know A and M are smart and matured people, pero they are also good people and I know that they appreciate us and want to please their fans. Sana lang wag sila magpaapekto at gawin nila kung ano yung nasa puso nila at hindi kung ano yung nakasulat dito. The blog is for OUR (fans) entertainment. Grabe.. bakit ba ako apektado? 🙂

I agree. And in addition to your observation that they are smart and mature individuals, they seem to be raised well by their parents and they continue to receive guidance from them (and in Maine’s case, her siblings as well). If they ever need any advise, I’m sure their family members (and friends who REALLY know them) have this covered. That’s all the advise they’ll ever need. Panggulo lang naman tayo. Hahaha.
Pero this site has its purpose din naman. We do need an outlet for the maddening effect they have on us fans. Kailangan mailabas ang naguumapaw nating feels… So it’s all good! Thanks, Sir Vilo for this!

ganyan din ang reaction ko sa mga nauna pang blogs ni Vilo,, but then eventually na-realize ko din after digging further sa character ng dalawa na both of them are way wise beyond their years kaya kampante na ako, l know they will follow their hearts and their minds instead of be affected by what others say.

It hurts to love someone and not to be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let the person know how you feel. Alden you have to move, don’t hold back! Follow your heart.

While reading i cant help but feel giddy all over again and just thought of watching the replay for the nth time after reading and posting my comment here. Ayoko na sana mag comment kaya lng habang binabasa ko lhat ang daming nasa isip ko na gusto kong sabihin. Habang nag sroll down aq sa twitter nakita ko nga to na shineshare ng aldub fans kesyo worth the read daw so ako naman naingganyo ngang basahin. Aba akalain mo ba nmn na 5:17am na heto ako at gcing na gcing upang basahin to, take note i have a 1pm class pa! Haha! Pero nung natapos ko na basahin lhat pati comments sobrang hndi ako nanghinayang sa oras na ibinigay at inilaan ko. Aaminin ko nakakapagod mag type uyy hahaha pero yung tuwa, saya, luha na naipadama sakin netong blog eh grabe thank you sir vilo. Sana tlaaga maging si meng at tisoy ewan ko oo mahilig ako sa loveteams pero sa aldub lng ako tinamaan ng ganito grabe sapul na sapul. Kaya nga ewan ko pati sa pagdarasal e sinama ko na narin si meng at tisoy na sana nga in the future e maging cla dba. Cnu bang ayaw na maging totohanan na ang aldub to maiden to maichard! Nung una nadissapoint ako sa sagot ni alden dun sa tanong sa starstruck na actually bwiset na bwiset ako na kung bakit pa kase tinanong yun dba pwede namang ibang tanong like “kamusta kau ni yaya dub” e hndi e tinanong agad-agad (asawa ni ugod-ugod!) na kung mahal na daw ba nya si maine? jusko na-pressure c alden halatang nagulat sya sa tanong na yun tas lalaki pa yung nagtanong dba! SNA LANG TLAGA HNDI NAYUN TINANONG PRA HNDI PAGSIMULAN NG ISSUES kc 2/ 3 months palang cla magkakilala tas tatanungin mo agad ng gnun e hndi pa nga cla nagkaka-usap ng matagal yung silang dalawa lng, kaya yung KALYESERYE sobrang laking daan noon para mas makilala nila ang isa’t isa. Kaya lahat ng actions nila nung saturday ay totoo kc un ung una nilang pag-uusap ng matagal. I am very dissapointed too to GMA NETWORK this time kase puro si alden yung gineguest nila sa mga shows halos lahat ata si tisoy kaya naprepressure sya lhat ng attentions nasakanya halos ara-araw ata sya iniinterview sa 24 oras! Yung guesting nya sa starstruck is a very wrong moved nalaman tuloy ng tao kung ano mga ginagawa nya pra magpakilig na mas maganda sa sarili nya nalang yun. Binigyan ba naman nya tayo ng ideas so bka sa susunod e hndi na tau kiligin or si maine kc bka isipin naten ay tricks nya lng yun. Hayyy ang dami ko pa actually gusto sbihin kaya lng nag-alarm na yung sinet kong alarm. Hahahaha! Anyways, Mahaba a ang tatahaking ni alden at maine. NANINIWALA PARIN AKO SA FOREVER NILANG DALAWA! SANA SANA SANA PLS LORD LET THEM BE TOGETHER! They’re perf couple for sure! Next DongYan for sure! To sir vilo Maraming salamat po dto!

Who else noticed yung part na nag dubsmash si Maine ng line ni Robin Padilla that goes like this, “…Nagkakagusto na nga ko sayo e. Mahal na nga kita palagay ko e!” Yung mukha ni Tisoy, ngiting tagumpay!
Then nung nag dubsmash naman si Meng ng line from the film Maybe This Time which goes like this, “There was never an us. There will never be an us. Kaya please lang, wag mo na kong landiin!” First sentence palang, biglang nagbago mukha ni Tisoy. Nagulat sya! You can see panic written across his face. Kaya nung matapos ang linya, di alam ang gagawin, hinalikan nalang si Maine sa screen. Hahahaha! This moment was a winner for me.
Whatever the reason is or kung sino man nakaisip na i-dubsmash ang line na yon, it was very effective! I’m telling you, A’s reaction once again, did not let us down. All out na talaga si Tisoy!

1.for both of their own FEELINGS 2.for their career that they’ve chosen 3.their family and friends 4.To keep happy the world wide ALDUB FANS 5.To keep their both good Values 6.TO stay strong both of them sa negativity ng bashers. 7.TO organized or divide their TIME 8.TO protect their PRIVACY at marami pang iba bilang normal person marami silang dadalhin and for real talk mabigat na dalahin ito. Kaya sana tayong FANS we know our limits let us not abuse their PRIVACY para they could stay with us longer with their love.

Ang “dilemma” niya actually is napakalaking bahagi ni Maine kung bakit niya naabot ung ganito. Ito mismo sigurado ung pangarap ng nanay niya sa kanya (Alden). But the thing is, ung “lovelife/loveteam” na sabi nyang hindi niya priority or yung medyo nakakasira ng career ung pinagmulan nito. So the question now is how will he handle both kung sakaling TNT(Totohanan na ‘to) na nga. Ngayon pa lang nya naranasan to. I know he’s very overwhelmed. Overwhelmed narin sa dami ng schedules. Less time to himself. To his family. Statement niya narin sa Starstruck na you really have to give time kung “love” yan talaga. So what will you do if yung pinakamalaking dahilan (among all other reasons) kung bakit niya tinatamasa itong lahat ay maaari ring ikasira/ikahina ng career mo.He knows how to handle situations like these before. He knows his priorities well. But right now, he’s being tested on how will he handle this kind of situation. A very unfamiliar situation. A situation too fragile to be handled without care.

For me I am very positive na may forever ang ALDUB si Alden lang kasi ang Hinintay kong mag Alis ng renda na nakalagay sa puso Nya and he did it not last Saturday but the time he said Ready na ako don ko naramdaman na he is willing to take it off and willing na po magpa pasok at si Meng lang din ang binigyan Nya ng karapatan. Lahat ng nangyari last Saturday sa part ni Alden Wala na talagang actingan yo . I feel it. Thank u once again sir Vilo.

The ones who are pressured right now ay silang dalawa din. Habang nagiging TNT na ang Kalye Serye, dumadami ang nagiging mas lalong interesado. Pero ang pressure talaga dun is marami naring fans ang talagang umaasang magiging sila in real life. How will they handle this? Or should I say, if anything happens, how will fans handle this ? 🙂

In a perfect AlDub universe, these are what I’d like to happen:
1. At the end of every KS segment, Alden would call/text Maine to share their thoughts about that day kasi bitin. And they’d update each other on their commitments lined up for that day.
2. Then Alden will ask if he can visit her at her house that night.
3. Maine would suggest that he asks permission from her Tatay and Nanay. Alden obliges. Calls Tatay and Nanay. Nanay hears the conversation. Asks Tatay Dub to invite Alden for dinner. Alden says yes.
4. They go about their commitments and text/call each other throughout the day.
5. Dinner time at the Mendoza residence in Bulacan, Alden shows up. Brings pasalubong to the family. Gives Maine a kiss on the forehead.
6. The Mendozas treat him like family. And they give the duo some alone time.
7. The duo make kulitan. They listen to songs, watch funny videos, and just have a relaxed, unmasked time without the cameras. They hold hands, gaze into each other’s eyes, and just be themselves. They talk about what would possibly happen at Kalyeserye the next day. Alden suggests that if he touches his heart, it’s his secret sign for her to tell her he loves her. And Maine said that if she touches her nose, it means “MaAlden kita”.
8. So even if they didn’t want to end the night, they have to. They say their goodbyes. With a smile. And with before he leaves, he touches his heart, and she touches her nose.
9. And he calls her when he gets home to tell her he arrived safely. They tell each other goodnight.
10. And then there’s the next Kalyeserye episode. Kulitan. So relaxed, so natural because it’s all SO real.
11. And we see the hand on heart and finger on nose gestures.
12. And then Kalyeserye is over and they plan their day and evening again…
13. And so the story goes…
And we don’t even know if this may happen for real tomorrow. We just never know.

i was really smiling and crying while reading this. Actually 2x ko sya binasa. Haha. Sapul na sapul mo talaga! Maybe Tisoy can’t express his feelings verbally kasi lagi sya umiiwas, pero sabi nga action speaks louder than words. Ung gestures, body language nya last Saturday sobrang kakaiba. At kahit paulit ulit kong pinapanuod hindi pa din maiwasang kiligin. Maybe kaya na hooked tayo sa fandom na to kasi ang nangibabaw satin ung KILIG, and I hope, oh let me say WE hope na maging okay sila or maging TNT in the future. And I know all of us Aldub Nation will wait for that TAMANG PANAHON 🙂 God bless you!

malaking siguro ko, it was because their story is God’s story. It was a miracle and were all amazed because for a long time we haven’t witnessed such an amazing thing and with this i mean televised. It’s a phenomenon indeed. Naalala ko sinabi ni Ryan Agoncillo kay A that good things happen to good people. and Alden’s good thing was Maine happening to him. I just so love the thought that we are witnessing this wonderful story. Nakasubaybay tayo sa progression ng para baga’ng too-good-to-be-true and super raw love story coming from the showbiz industry. haha. gets nyo ko?
Still, and as always, God does great miracles.

First paragraph pa lang, I was laughing loudly I almost choked on my toothbrush. Lahat ng napansin mo napansin ko rin, akala ko nag-iisa lang ako sa pagiging CSI kung makapuna ng details.
You just affirmed my thoughts on this. Last Saturday’s episode was my favorite. Kaya naka save sya sa laptop ko haha. Hindi ko na kikilatisin ang feelings ni Richard and Nicomaine. Basta napasaya ako. I wish them both the best. If maging sitcom ang KS, I’ll be there to support them. Pag simbahan ang uwi ng dalawa, magdiwang ang buong mundo.
